    "reaching out.... To touch me.... You made it HARD.... to say goodbye"
    Sexually charged performance and lyrics as ever from Reg. God bless Him. Wonderful live stuff from this late 60s period.

    Gotta respect The Troggs. On the same show, The Who mimed their set-these guys played it live.

    Remember going to my cousin's wedding and the music was by a group of 16/18 year olds who's repertoire seemed to consist entirely of The Troggs first album, and only that. Bought the album myself as a teenager and played it to death.

    The one and only Reg Presley. Could pull the birds out the trees. No worries. Accept for the birds that fell under the spell of this brilliant band!

      How did you come to that conclusion? In my opinion the Troggs studio recordings aren't very hi-fi

    • @The53rrc
      @The53rrc 2 года назад

      @@VirreFriberg It was the 60s man. Where have you been. You can't compare today's crap hi tech to raw talent, no matter what level. They tried back then. Now, it's fake, money and power.

    • @VirreFriberg
      @VirreFriberg 2 года назад +2

      @@The53rrc Yes, but the Troggs were never a studio band, they never focused on getting sonic sound (like other groups) instead focusing on sounding like they do live

    • @The53rrc
      @The53rrc 2 года назад +2

      @@VirreFriberg They had more of a raw sound. Wild Thing is one of my favorite songs from back then. They weren't a great band, but had some cool songs.

    Great to see...but The Troggs were at their best when they drowned their 'trogglodite" sound in cavernous reverb.........
    .......this sounds somewhat dry. By 1968 their momentum had already passed also.....compared to the other acts on this new year's eve party, they came over as a cabaret act .Got to hand it to 'm though ,unlike most other lazy acts there, they actually played live .
    . .....nanananee.. hip hip hooray......
