I love how in your gameplay, you commentate about your thought process for every decision you make in-game. It’s very useful for me and others to know what to be thinking about during a match.
With crab use ball mode to rotate then you will shoot that way sooner. Also angle shooter (sub) is great for finishing a kill that escapes your range as it goes 2 lines farther than splatter shot pro
Nice video man! I just bought the splattershot pro in 3 two days ago and just now realized how amazing it is, especially in ranked. For the amount of subs your videos are pretty high quality, keep it up!
The Weave Breaker seem very useful on ranks to track your opponents. Also, reveals where location are hiding and helps your teamates as well for easy targets. lol
For me personally the stock pro in Splatoon is a push weapon. It's not as good as inking as other weapons, but it contest most weapons outside of their preferred ranges and against height advantage. Since you demonstrated it after two full-damage hits, I should also point out that at maximum falloff it deals 34 damage, exactly enough to be a reliable three-hit splat even if you only mark an enemy at the furthest edge of your range. But I really like how aggressive you can get with the Pro because of the accuracy and range. Since it is a lot less ink efficient you have to be more measured with your engagements, but that also feeds into its range advantage and the crab tank annihilating anyone caught in front of you. I'm with you on the angle shot being very fun but kinda awkward to use. I kinda wish it still had the point sensor since you could toss that over walls or next to a barrier to quickly scan for enemies.
Couldn't have put it better. Me and my peers have discussed angle shooter, we all feel IMMEDIATELY that it shoots lower than where you aim. The starting point should be a bit higher, the line starts in the middle of the body, making it awkward to use.
@@Seggtor From my own tests in the lobby I think what is also happening is that the hitbox is way larger than you expect it to be. Because of the fast projectile and the thin line it draws you expect the shot itself to be fairly narrow as well, but it always seems to collide with the ground and wall way more easily and earlier than you expect it to. I feel the projectile hitbox should be as narrow as a charger bullet.
In my humble not expert opinion a lot of the aggressive things you were doing like pushing up on eliter can be really strong even though you got punished in the video. Just picking the right fights and getting out quick, and zone them out/help your team when you get closer to base. Splattershot Pro is good for picking quick skirmishes like that and the range allows you to get close enough to eliters to surprise them and then you can make a quick line out. Also great for opportune pushes into enemy territory to harass them especially if they’re pushing too much
I usually like go supportive when I go splatter shot pro. It’s easier to focus on supporting others and focus on adjectives. I find you get more splats and more out it’s kits.
i mained pro in spla2n because i changed to motion controls trying to beat inner agent 3 and in the process i got good at shooters. also, i beat inner agent 3 just a few months before spla3n
I like your load out. When you expand your abilities, try out intensify action. It keeps your accuracy up if you should have to jump using the pro. Great video
I'm on route to become a squeezer main. Video might come out soon for that. Jet I need a lot more experience because it's kit is 🤔 to work with team. (I miss burst bombs on Jet ngl)
Pro is the weapon I used to learn how to aim when I first started out. Its disadvantages in terms of ink consumption forces you to play a more aggressive playstyle (since your strengths don't rely on inking)
@@Seggtor I’ll definitely try it out later down the line. Do you play on motion controls? I’ve been using it a lot lately and so far it hasn’t been too bad.
@@Sinfulsy I play motion controls yes. You're not doing yourself any favors if you play sticks. Motion controls is objectively better and is worth the adjustment. However, if you're more comfortable with sticks and make it work, more power to you. You'll bit limited for a lot of weapons.
@@Seggtor Got it, thanks. Guess I’ll keep motion then lol. I’m still trying to figure out what weapon is in my favor, but it can’t hurt to use multiple so watching videos like this help a bunch.
id use this gun but i hate the sub it has. btw crab tank can spin around pretty fast if you use ball mode to turn around, test with it in the story mission in map 2 "tread heavily"
Nice games mate! I'm trying to find a weapon for my playstyle, I was thinking about a charger, but since I'm new to Splatoon, I will try to engage in fights as a midline-offensive for now, just to get game sense up.
You have the right mentality to improve. Personally I've always grown complacent and passive when playing special farm/support weapons or chargers, so far removed from fights. Interacting with the opponent and limit testing is the best way to improve imo.
@@Seggtor Alright, thank you man. When I play cautious like backlining, I take no risks unless we have nothing to lose or the team pushes up the map, so I'd be kinda missing out on the "fun," per se
Im maining N'zap 85 and definitely like it, so that might be worth a try. But im also debating playing sniper again, it sucked in splat2n but seems to have made a comeback
@@comajuice Yeah I was thinking about using N'zap 85, I like the sub on it, but I don't really know about the special. But I'll give it thought for sure.
In the menu you can change your motion control and stick sensitivity. I would recommend you watch ThatSrb2Dude's video on Motion controls. Start out at +1 +1. See if you like it, mess around a bit, there's no optimal setting, it's all personnal preference and playstyle.
Thanks! I’ve been a shooter/splattershot main since splatoon 1, but near the tail end of playing splatoon 2 I wanted to try charger. It’s hard shifting old fighting habits and forcing myself to stay back instead of jumping right into battle. Any tips for novice chargers? I’ve noticed charger feels different in 3. I’m getting way more focused shots but less flick splats.
Shoot less, put more intent in your shots. Sometimes having the shot ready is more pressure even though it doesn't seem like it. I would also take mental notes on positioning when watching content creators play. You'll learn so much from the GOATs. Also Armor being gone and missiles less prevalent makes charger much easier to play imo.
Why do we bother with a specific weapon, to where I play Turf Wars with all the pros, and highly skilled players, who can just effing steamroll over anyone else in their way??!!!
The pro still requires a lot of aiming, whereas many other shooters can just spam like aerospray up close. No weapon is no skill, every one takes a least a bit of time
I love how in your gameplay, you commentate about your thought process for every decision you make in-game. It’s very useful for me and others to know what to be thinking about during a match.
I try my best, so much going on it's hard to pay attention and commentate ^^ Glad you like it ! Very encouraging

I enjoy the humor of your editing. Like the zoom in on when you said enemy charger.

There was a hiccup in audio for the 5 seconds of the video, it's fixed afterwards

That's always been the moto of the pro. You're a mid range slayer with a supportive kit.
Great vid! I'm still pretty new and when I first played with this weapon i liked the mid range accuracy of it! You teached me some great things!
for a small content creator you deserve so much more credit.

Once you get used to it the angle shooter feels BUSTED. It marks for way longer than point sensor and deals a little bit of damage.
how much would you recommend comeback over something like ISM or SCU?
Stupid question but how did you super jump back to base
2 vids in one day damn

I can’t tell if N zap is good anymore it was never completely carried by ink armor but idk how I feel about tact a cooler
I feel like a buff to tact a cooler could be. Being able to super jump to it and a fast drop speed for the drinks
What sens you rockin?
I worry for your hands long term if you consistently death grip the controller...
I recommend replacing comeback with tenacity because in ranked more often than not you'll be killing not painting and tenacity fills it automatically
Tenacity only works when your teammates are splatted
What sensivity u using
+2/+1.5 iirc. By the time of recording that video it was probably around +1/+1.
