Whether you still use this radio or not, you should always use time alignment if given the opportunity. I have this radio and the time alignment that is built in works very well. If you program it right(quite easy), you wont have an instance where you aren't sure if it worked or not; it is a noticeable difference. I was quite surprised how much it changed the sound in my little car. Figured that it mostly worked for something larger, like an S.U.V.

My Erisin Android HU has built-in subwoofer gain control. If I set it to 0, I have to set my Alpine amp (for my subwoofer) gain high to get the desired bass and volume. I set at 75% subwoofer gain setting on my Erisin HU and Alpine amp gain around 10-11 o'clock position, just perfect for my listening volume preference (small hatchback car).

@@JacobViral2 if you dont believe me you can try it yourself. Get a multimeter and set it to ACV. Then play a 40 or 50 hz tone (i use -5 because i listen to rebassed/decaf songs) you can use 0 db to guarantee you'll never clip but if you only listen to radio songs or iTunes/pandora songs you could use a -15 to a -10 db tone. Then get the R or L RCA cable from your amp and put the negative lead on the outer shield of the rca and put the positive on the inner nipple of the rca cable. (You use pos n neg to test only 1 of the RCA from your amp. During this time your sub will not be playing due to you have an rca disconnected. (Also have to have your volume knob at 62 to get the full 5v) this is how ALOT of radios are. Most people don't get the full potential preout voltage because they don't put the sub level up but alot of radios use the sub level to adjust the voltage the preouts deliver to the amp.

The bluetooth version does not appear in the hidden menu, I completely removed the power from the car stereo and the problem continues.
