I recently lost my grandmother,after 3 years of being away from her because I'm studying in another country. She was the best thing that has ever happened to me. This song instantly makes me think of her. I wake up every morning wishing she was here,maybe then everything would make sense again.
I am so sorry for your loss hun. It is never easy. Your grandmother will never completely leave you. You will see her in the things you do, ways you talk, movements you make, behaviors you have and even something as simple as the sun. Keep replaying all of the awesome memories you have with her and the lessons she taught you. Those two things are her greatest gift to your heart and soul. She will always live on in those memories and lessons. Never stop talking about her and your memories with her. She will be more present in your life than you realize. Take the time to grieve and cry as often as you need. Once through the process of grieving you will start to heal and it will hurt a little less. You will always miss her, but remember, you miss her because she loved you and you loved her. That love will never leave you and you will always feel loved by her. That is everlasting and unconditional. I am so sorry you are going through this right now. Let yourself feel the emotions. That is how you start to heal. Let it out, don't bottle it up. And this my not matter, but I am giving you some mental hugs. Use it as comfort whenever you need it. Hugs are free and limitless so you take all the hugs you need from me.

I lost my Grandma a few years ago and I’m struggling so much still. She was like a Mum to me and we were incredibly close. Today has been very difficult and I’ve just really wanted to talk to my Gran, ask her advice, sit down and have a cup of tea with her. Then reality hits that that’s not possible anymore and it’s heartbreaking. I just wanted to tell you that Reading your words brought me some comfort today and helped me feel less alone xx 🙏💛.
