  • These are the photos of a 10 year restoration of a cox GTM kit car. The build was started in 2011 and is still ongoing. Currently, we are having overheating issues but hopefully we can sort those out soon. The car is currently in speedwell blue with a 1070cc engine with a 1098 camshaft.

    Delightful! I owned a K3 for a few years so I have a soft spot for GTM's of any type.

    How did it get road registered with no windscreen wipers? Great GTM though….remember the Unipower and Clan Crusader (Imp based) too?

      I’m not sure how it ever actually passed an MOT when it was originally built, it had no handbrake, a windscreen wiper motor that was attached to nothing and quite a few other questionable things, it’s got a windscreen wiper and handbrake now and the car is fully road legal and would pass an MOT.

    What primer did you use, as my Gtm coupe is nearly ready for paint?
