I really love this figure. Im enjoying it more than the miles. My only real gripe with her is that lack of a lower crunch basically. It would have made a huge difference

Shf first form cell legs snapped off on me I’ve been oiling joints ever since. Definitely recommend oiling Gwen at the thigh swivel because it’s not just a peg but a ball joint perfect for siting cross leg positions.

After seeing the movie I gotta get my hands on The Spot fig. As for the stands, the event exclusives have a special design that differs from the standard release stand.

You can customize if you are willing to do it. I'm doing some experiment on using model kit runners. Mostly scratch building models of robots and mecha that doesn't exist.
@@ItsGeekEffect Yeah, always sucks running into tight ball joints. It's kinda been a problem with S.H. Figuarts for over a decade. Like back when the Tiger & Bunny ones came out around 2010/2011, I remember Wild Tiger's hips being so tight that some people broke them (shock oiled mine before it was an issue). Figuarts were also only like $40 back then... Yeah, sadly collecting this stuff...it's kind of a requirement to have shock oil always at the ready lol.
Honestly, the only S.H.F I've ever gotten is the Spider-Man PS4 one because goddamn does it look freaking incredible, white spider and all. I might have to actually buy these though.
One of the my friends just broke his spider-gwen. I’m concerned on mine when it arrived. Maybe I had to use hair dryer or warm water to loosen the joints 😢
The hips issue is a common one with SH Figuarts, too tight is way better than too loose, and Japanese figures are made for consumers who are also hobbyists to some degree. I disagree with the assessment that it’s a QC issue.
I’m still new to collecting import figures, so I’ve got a lot to learn. I do prefer tight joints because it means the poses hold better, but I don’t feel it should be so tight to the point that it’s breaking on people. I’m just looking out for those who aren’t experienced with these figs so they don’t break it.

I have this figure and have zero problems with the legs. The drop down hips allow her a wide range of movement-she can nearly do the full splits. It’s smooth as silk.
Well it was worth it because I got to meet one of my friends in the community in person, check out the displays, and see New York for the first time in a while. What sold me was getting the figs early I guess, the stands are just a bonus.
I usually just get marvel legends because usually when I order sh figure are it’s allways messed up but when I see this video I’m order it becuase it’s a pretty good figure but the no fist is annoying but great video
I’ve had similar issues with S.H. Figure and MonsterArts figures to these figures. 8 yrs ago, I preordered Suicide Squad Harley Quinn that took almost two years for it to arrive around the same time I ordered Godzilla figures. They were all cinematic accurate but have gaps in their socket joints to make them very posable around $90-$150+. Which is why I went for Hot Toys 1/6 and statue collecting instead. Marvel Legends figures are still great for action figure collectors that are mostly comic book or animation accurate.

My theory is that they took away the fisted hands from those releases since they have a stand, hence fisted hands will be included in regular releases
