DEI, when done properly promotes those hard conversations. If you don't have a diverse population in attendance bc they're overlooked during admissions due to unconscious racial bias in the system and those making admission decisions, how are UNC students going to have those conversations? Please be honest and say you want UNC to be full of White males, with a few white women to be selected as traditional wives. Be honest about it. Look at the board, who's represented in that room? Clearly UNC needs DEI. Also it's crazy you all are so afraid of your own student population. Your move DEI funds towards security, not toward providing scholarship for ALL potential students. Shame on you all

Unconscious? I don't think that word means what you think it means. But it figures someone like you would be pushing disproportionate tokenism.
