At no point of A2 should you be expecting to play this game like any other game. Even after phase 3 starts it is still an ALPHA TEST not any sort of early access
I have to say this is quite worrying. £100 to “play” (read work) the alpha. After everything that’s gone on in the gaming industry lately this is so egregious and makes me that this game will only ramp up in Pay to Win as time goes by. Paying to get early experience is still pay to win imho. 😢
I see your point & you're not completely wrong. You can still watch content to get a feel for the game and it's systems without paying. The knowledge is free my friend!
@@YommiOfficial I agree in part but playing is still better. Also the fact that paying £100 is more than most games that are released. Imho it’s a very worrying sign. More so when they have stated many times that they have the funds to produce the game! I’m certainly a lot more wary of even preordering now. I personally hate and alpha/beta tests as it’s just turns into people gate keeping content, which kills communities imho and one of the main reasons I stopped New World. Loved your Ironman series on NW btw. Made the game a lot more fun but hardly played any dungeons because I loved playing bow. :’(
