for two reasons only. traction, and gearing. there are plenty of Dodge Vipers that will do 200 miles per hour in a quarter mile. but Roll Racing has a lot less competition. so it is easier for them to win. people do some crazy things to make cars fast on the drag strip. On the airstrip sometimes the Vipers can have a top-end advantage

I could go out to the junkyard and find 30-40 cars containing parts for my 420a. Avenger trans, other 420a engines, 2.4 swaps, etc. Limitless parts here. Can't say the same for the 4g63.. I make a little bit more power than a gst from the factory at the moment abnd I have a world of parts to use unlike the 4gs
