Had mine for a year. Obviously the Redline is a bit faster than the Icon performance. I have put 7k miles on it including eurotrips etc. sold an R1200GSA for this, no regrets. Agreed with your review, only the fuel range i have consistently gotten 220 miles to the tank before sticking in another 3 L
A US$13000 900cc tenere could be a real Africa Twin contender with just traction control, cruise control, 6 Gals, abs off option and adustable suspension. The triple engine is amazing!
Great review love the honest comments the tracer 9 has been one on my short list as a commuter its heading to the top very quickly thanks for the video all the best and as always ride safe
Nice review, you really like the bike... I don't know about long distance touring... If you are 6f or taller weather protection is not that great. Same with the position of the legs-knees due to the position of foot pegs. And standard seat is not that great either. Its like fast cool looking sport Tourer... like Yamaha called it, it says it all. 👍🏻
Do you think Yamaha will update the dash, and if so when? I’m currently looking for a bike (doing lessons). I’m curious do they update these bikes every year or?
@mickrick. Sx is great. Main differences are ergo’s. Tracer more upright with longer leg stretch. Sx is more old school, leaning more forward and legs tucked up. Tracer feels lighter in the hands round the lanes especially, sx likes a more open sweeping road to make use of its power. You have to ride them both to see what suits YOU, because your the one who’s going to be riding it and we’re all different.
Yet another expensive overcomplicated load of plastic rubbish , all that money to watch depreciating almost as fast as the salty winter roads dissolve it ! All this could be accomplished on 2000 quids worth of TDM 900 with exactly the same result. Good review though mate 👍
Because of ur review I went out and bought a 2022 tracer gt 500 miles later it was traded with another bike Comfort!?? Where The seat is hard and pushing u to the tank...failed The suspension if u live in or around a city is simply garbage very stiff suspension in A2 mode that jolts through ur back on every God damaged bump, I can't imagine A1 setup The engine is Smoot and sounds good absolutely but...it jerks around town in slow speeds and off and on throttle is very snatching Wind noise and buffet don't even get me started on that...big fail here All in all don't advertise a touring bike cuz u added a bad windshield and cruise control
Well mate you’re wrong, if you stop watching a video without checking your opinion i mean... i’m sorry. But the old Tracer 900 was a 849, the new Tracer 9 is a 890 cc
Had one for a year and this review is 💯spot on (and I have a critical eye). Well done. Cheers!

The only difference between them is the color bro why you think the red one is faster ?
Just ask Enzo. Red is always faster @@YTracer9

Best sport touring bike on the market
Love my new 2021 tracer! Only 1300 km so far let’s see after 5 yrs!
Hy just read ur message about the tracer 9 gt would you say it's adequate for a pillion passenger ie enough power in the engine
@@elvisthewart670 Way more than enough. Can check my test ride of this bike. :)
Can i ask how this compares to the Triumph 900 GT Pro? Does the triumph feel less powerful and which would you choose?

The presenter indicated «87,5HP» but that numer is KW, the HP power number is around 117, or 119PS,
Quite right Alexandre, thanks for the spot.
You are completely right bro. :) Drop by, you may like it.
Great job here. :) You got my like. A lot of a bike for the money. :) The standard one is even more for the money. Keep up.
Perfect review !!
Thanks for great review, how you compare this to honda nt1100? with pros and cons it the categories you use for review the bikes?

Merci pour cette très intéressante vidéo ! How tall are you ? I'm a bit worried about the leg room, I'm 182 cm tall
The GT is a great bike, I have a new 22 plate. Defo worth the extra for the extra goodies.🤣
the way the boot just keep wacking the panniers....you can tell it's a loaner
can you do a comparison to the Ninja 1000SX? especially with a pillion ride and longer touring? thanks!

How tall are you? I sat on one and was amazed at the leg room for a tall person. Thx
cool review nice motorbike 👍
Could you ride it with sidi adventure boots on?
Yeah, once adventure boots wear in and become more supple you can ride most bikes with them
How tall are you? Can you flat foot this bike?
James is 6ft as a good point of reference

What is miles? How about at least typing in km in the screen?
Sorry Philip, which miles are you referring to?

Just google miles to Kilometers conversion it's simple to use

Screen and seat are very individual. I got a comfort seat and an MRA screen and a year on it’s wouldnt let it go for anything.
@@nemerkha I am waiting for the same "package". Ordered a comfort seat too. Will see. :)
@@RRRRefuelRideRace id also recommend the Cool COver (UK) which is an arse saver !

ride it....stop talking about it
It's an 847cc, not a 890cc engine. I stopped watching after that point.
