Been missing you…hair, lip color and shirt color looks so great. What a fun project. If I ever purchase a swimsuit again I’ll know what to make. I like the no pattern one with the v-neck. Very stylish and easy to wear. I love the Pom-pom one, so cute. Beach towel one is so clever. You have some great fabrics to work with. Orange & pink one is too pretty for the beach, need something you can wear more. The ladies at the beach is perfect. Happy Sewing!
I love how the watermelon coverup looks like a bite was taken out of it! I think the third one would be a great one for my daughter-in-law. Love your pattern choices.
I like the « no pattern » one and the one with the pom-pom trim is fun too! I think the tropical prints would both make fabulous cover-ups but I also really like the idea of you and your sister matching! All great ideas! 💞
I love a cover up with a drawstring waist! That lace one is gorgeous but 4 yards of fabric?! Those tropical print fabrics are just perfect for FLORIDA, love them so much. Thanks for all your hard work in research as always ❤ xx
Had to pause and say that first one could be made out of old lace curtains, there’s usually yards and yards of fabric there. It’s beautiful ❤. Now to watch the rest of the show! Thanks Michelle.
We forgive you! So what you're here now. I just found out about this tour this year and I'm so excited I participated. Thanks for showing you're sew frugal video❤
So many good ideas. My mom made my sister and I those towel cover-ups when we were kids living in Florida. We loved them. I think my granddaughters would love the pom-pom cover-up. Love the orange and pink tropical fabric. Thanks for sharing.
On looking at the A4 pattern tile layout of the Mood Petal Dress, it looks like one can use that image to freehand draw the pattern if you look at the pages as a grid. I like the Petal 'dress' coverup especially because it offers full-arm coverage. Thanks, Michelle!
My standard yardage purchase is 3 yards. If it is material I may consider using for a dress-5 yards. I've also been known to get enough for "planned remnants" (Sort of like making extra dinner as planned leftovers for lunch the next day) So I might have the amount for the Mood one. I bet it would be a fun shirt/tunic in addition to coverup. Bet the Polka Dot Chair would be too.
Hey Michelle...nice to see you. I hope all is well with you and your hubs. Thanks for sharing the great patterns, as I need to whip up a cover-up for this Summer and free is great!
I love the pom pom beach cover it looks fun but I think your choice of beach cover will look lovely in your fabric especially if you make one for your sister also 😊
Hi Michelle, I really liked option 5. I might get that one. I loved your Style Maker fabric. I think it would be so pretty as option 3 for you. I can't wait to see what you decide. Thanks for another great video!
The tropical print from Jen or the print from Australia if not enough fabric colour block from your stash could work 🤔 enjoying the challenge from Australia too
Does a youtube sewist demonstrating how to make a garment without a pattern count? Sew Anastasia did this with how to make a pleated skirt and I've already made two.😂 😮 I can understand why it wouldnt count since patterns are a "universal" way for us to make garments. Great video.
So fun, Michelle! Thank you! Can’t wait to see what you make! 💗
Thanks so much Andra! 💕💕

Isn't it a fun print? Thanks!

I really hope you can make the ladies work for #3. I can't wait to see it.
Me too - that would be such a fun one!
Love the two tropical prints, they definitely scream swimsuit coverup. 🩱👙. The lacy mood pattern is very pretty. Good luck choosing which one to make.
Thanks Mary Ellen!
I like them all especially the last pattern. Your fabric choices are wonderful. Great video.
Thanks so much Carmen!!

Oh I agree - both of those would be fabulous tunics! Thanks for watching 😊
Great ideas! I may need some of these - especially the lace one! xox
I thought of you when I found that one :)
Hey Michelle...nice to see you. I hope all is well with you and your hubs. Thanks for sharing the great patterns, as I need to whip up a cover-up for this Summer and free is great!
Hi Sammee! Good to "see" you again :).
I love the pom pom beach cover it looks fun but I think your choice of beach cover will look lovely in your fabric especially if you make one for your sister also 😊
Thanks!
All great ideas but love the Petal cover up and the Pom Pom. May have to make both 😊.
They are both so cute!

Thanks so much CarolAnn!
You have to make up those sewing ladies!
I agree! 😊
The tropical print from Jen or the print from Australia if not enough fabric colour block from your stash could work 🤔 enjoying the challenge from Australia too
It's a great challenge - I've participated every year!
Thank you!
💕
Use the Style Maker fabric! You deserve a “pricey“ bathing suit coverup!!
Good point! Thanks 😊
The swimming ladies fabric is just begging to be the coverup with the pom poms :-)
That would be lots of fun! 😊
Where'd you go? We miss you!!! Hope everything's going okay. . . Missing your inspiration and just everything! And that silly little dog of yours!
You are so sweet! Thank you so much for the kind message. I just needed a little break. I'll be back soon! 😊

I think it does count! It's free and available to anyone with a computer 😊
I've come to the conclusion that MOOD gives the fabric length recommendations for the largest size because they don't specify.
Oh that would make sense - thanks for the tip!
I’d save the Stylemaker fabric for something else.
Thanks Anne!
