Hey, I just want to thank you all who subscribed to me and kept watching my videos after all these years. My voice is quite dated in this video. Maybe I should remake it. Haha I am finishing up college and have plans for videos dealing with all the things I love, including Mega Man and voice acting. Let me know if there is anything you would like to see in particular. :)
@@Jackattack359 It's been quite a while, but I think I remember. I believe I took some official artwork from maybe Zero 3 (when Copy X MKII had blue eyes), maybe shortly after meeting him again, and just made his eyes red to match his original body in Zero 1. I hoped it would add some dramatic effect I guess. Haha The area around his ears shows that the official artwork and spritework were probably done around the same time since his mugshot has different ear plates.
ZERO: You must be the pirate copy of X! COPY X No, a perfect copy of the original X. ZERO: Couldn't copy his voice chip... COPY X: shut your maverick mouth.
Darkrai DA BANG Same, perfect copy? My ass! In fact, ill state the many things that copy x does not copy from the original x Hes an evil son of a bitch His voice is not the same He doesnt look the same He doesnt have his armor AND MANY MORE THINGS
Yeah, maybe I spelled it wrong, more like a "cubic" mind you know, he's set on something, he think's he's right and there's NOTHING, anyone can say or do, to make him change.
Zero was in the copy body when he fought Omega alongside X to end the Elf Wars. That's probably how he remember's X's strength. Plus, Zero's memories aren't gone, only suppressed. He begins to remember things as he continues to fight.
I love the acting of zero, and the coldz emotionless calculating voice of pirate X. Yarrr!! Zero's inflection and clear pronounciation of the script really deserves more praise.
Wow... I actually feel sorry for Copy now, he believed he was a hero until the end, when he was faced with the truth of it: He, the "hero" had been playing the role of the villain all along... Honestly, they could have made an ending where Zero picks up his almost destroyed body and carries it out, and it would lead into the next parts being waaaay different, perhaps even having both Copy and Zero fighting Weil at the end. Heck, maybe they'd even survive with their combined power!
It's an unfortunate turn because of his naivety and unwillingness to look at his own mistakes. X had undergone years of experience and personal testing. It's like trying to copy a human being. No two people are alike, in character or experience. If he really was a "perfect copy" of X, he would have literally gone through all the same things as X. Basically, impossible. To him, the one thing he could never admit was that he wasn't X or even a hero at that. He had this image that was indeed X, a hero, but he never lived up to or earned such a title. When that was all he was, the truth hits him harder than any blade ever could.
@@TayoEXE And maybe if Copy had undergone a process of a thirty year training, he might have been X's successor. But of course, one thing everyone forgot was that X wasn't simply a reploid that was purely created to lead, but Dr. Light had created him to fight for justice and to guide, but was sealed away for what was intended to be thirty years because the world Light created him in was not ready for someone like him. One hundred years later, and he was awakened after fully completed his tests, which is why the original X was the perfect X. Something the Copy X never knew.
Honestly I can really emphasize with copy x imagine being born into a world where the local population expects you to live up to be the legacy of a legend the pressure would have been enough for copy x to try and achieve the goal of humans and reploid coexistence by any means necessary in the end it intoxicated him and he became corrupted I wish zero had more empathy for him but again its zero we talking about so tough luck.
That's what I love about the characterization in the series. The Zero series cements the answer that Zero has been asking himself all his life. "What am I fighting for?" He takes his answer to his (alleged) grave. "I never cared about justice, and I don't recall ever calling myself a hero. I have always only fought for the people I believe in. I won't hesitate... If an enemy appears in front of me, I will destroy it!"
The way copy x talks feels like he doesn't care of anyone's thoughts on the future. Only his image can save humanity and therefore his way will be law.
Well, X was like a role model to me growing up. He represents a hero to me. Just as Zero said, X was not so naive as Copy X. Copy X was created with the intent of carrying when X was gone, yet quickly showed the biggest difference between him and X when there was the energy crisis. Copy X labeled innocent reploids as mavericks and put humans above them, destroying the very equality and peace that X desired when he founded Neo Arcadia. X doesn't go looking for war, he only fights when necessary.
Now that you mention it, the mug shot doesn't even match the sprite, and that, unlike the cut-in shot of Copy X's face, was actually in the game. (The drawing of Copy X was cut in from Megaman Zero 3, but the mug shot and the rest of the scene were all authentically from the first Zero title.)
It seems that everyone has said this already, but this has got to be the best dub of Zero that I've heard yet. The voice actor doesn't force his voice in to an unnatural range. He also manages to balance the emotion behind Zero's words while still maintaining Zero's cold and calculated personality.
Let me just make this as clear as I can: This is amazing. I freaking love this idea of dubbing the game, and only wish I had the capacity to help work on a larger scale thing on this.
Well, also remember this. All reploids are based on X's design to about 95%. Basically, X is a one of kind. As he was sealed, he was given free will. While he was sealed, he was "tested" to see if he'd willing choose to fight for good and justice. There is no other robot like him with the possible exception of Zero (since we don't exactly know how Wily created him). X had hundreds of years of experience as well when he founded Neo Arcadia, and Copy X is actually only 8 years old. Ciel is 14.
His voice is like this in the Japanese version, and I did update my voice in the video, I'm just waiting for a few more voices to release it. Also, Zero does "lose his cool" a number of times. He does indeed yell and such. (See X4 cutscenes as well as Maverick Hunter X.)

@SonGOKUSSJ6 Yep, Ciel created Copy X when she was only six years old. Also, X was only supposed to be in there for about 30 years, but he was actually in there for about 100 years.
Cool, can't wait! It's days like this I had or could afford to buy some recording equipment, I would've really liked to take a crack at Fefner. Oh well, thems the breaks.
Haven't you guys noticed how the mugshot doesn't match with the sprite at all?(hint: the ears) I guess the mugshot corresponds more to evil x rather than copy x. Inti Creates said the change from x to copy x was made at the very, very, very end. So, I guess they could have made a playable build where you fight x instead of copy x. While the idea of x being evil goes completely against the point of the x series I wouldn't mind to see that idea in action. I also don't like the redesigns(everyone looks like a 14 year old) and making x a cyber-elf is pretty lame as well. Why Inti Creates doesn't release evil x concept art?
Well, I think that they also changed a great deal of X's dialogue to better suit Copy X's apathy towards Reploids. Remember that during the X series, X constantly regrets fighting and hopes for a future with peace. Perhaps over the centuries, X's morality shifted as he realized the endless nature of his fight against other Reploids.
Ultimaterockmanx135 now that makes sense. why dont they release just as it is? x become evil, and zero kill him, his best friend side by side fighting evil sigma. i really dont mind the concept. it's just too cool to be abandoned.

Thank you. :) I know not everyone will like it, plus, this is my earlier take on him. But, I just tried to model it like the original, so I always wondered what he'd sound like in English.
Well, I think it's kind of half in half his subconscious memory along with the time that he did fight physically fight along side X when they defeated Omega a century before (that's the only time we know that Zero fought alongside X while in his copy body).
@@duannekhristopermangampat9608 The Maverick Wars began back in the original X series when Sigma spread the Maverick virus. X put an end to this virus and Sigma once and for all many years later with the Mother Elf, which became the Dark Elf later from Dr. Weil's corruption.
@@duannekhristopermangampat9608 It's heavily implied that X is connected to Biometal X, so maybe his soul is connected somehow. The Biometals were created by Ciel after all.
Thanks! I barely have any time to make videos at the moment, but I will try to do it in the next month. After that, I won't be around to make videos for at least 2 years.
Hm, how so? I've never read anything about that. I know that X6 was setting it up for the Zero series, but nothing's ever indicated X ever having such a mindset like Copy X to my knowledge. The thing is, if they had gone with the original idea, it would have made X's whole hundred years pointless. X shows more heart than most humans, and he's like that for a reason. I'm glad they changed it.
We're actually working on another video from a scene in Zero 3. And hm, that'd be interesting to do, but I don't know if we have time to do such a large task. It's not like I can implement the sound files into the rom itself.
I also have some ideas for voice types. Ciel: Noel Vermillion Harpuia: Jin Kisaragi Fefnir: Bang Shishigami Leviathan: Rachel Alucard Phantom: Hakumen Dr. Weil: Relius Clover Neige: Tsubaki Yayoi Copy X: Hazama/Terumi (While X would be Kazuma Kuvar) Elpizo: That gay guy from Chronophantasma, Kagura? Craft: Iron Tager
***** In the English version yes. But I was basing the choices in the Japanese cast. Besides Clover was an amoral science guy like Weil. While Hazama was just an immature brat with phenomenal powers like Copy X
Well, it's not that they DIDN'T make an X9, but that they just haven't... yet. These events were explained mainly in the Elf Wars files in Zero 3 and through Dr. Weil himself, as well as the audio drama tracks in Rockman Zero Telos. Even X has commented on it himself in the Zero series. I like how so much time is set between the series that allows for more games and events to happen in between series. Such is the case with the 200 year gap between Zero and ZX series.
Yeah, I agree with Zero's voice. Though, if it sounds older, maybe it's more fitting since he is over a 100 years older than he was in the X series. ;) And thanks for the thought on Copy X's voice. In the original Japanese audio dramas, X and Copy X clearly have very different voices. Copy X does indeed have some very noticeable differences in thinking, physical appearance, and abilities, and especially in talking. I provided the links to those so you can see why I modeled it like that. =)
Not necessarily, but Copy X CLAIMS he is a perfect copy. He could have also meant he is a "perfect" copy since he believes he has the mindset of X and more.
The only thing is that this is not meant to be an English fandub of the drama tracks. I only modeled my voice after that, and of course, it's not perfect. This is only for fun. :)
I think it's funny the way the cuts work as it makes it look like Zero just wrecked Copy X in 1 hit. I also love the fact that Zero mentions that X wasn't half as Naive as Copy X considering that X was actually quite Naive (especially if you take Mega Man X7 and Maverick Hunter X into consideration).
True, the X in Mega Man Zero was actually quite a bit different from the X in Mega Man X. Still though, a century of fighting the same computer virus was not enough to make you disillusioned? I guess it takes a second century-long war and your best friend dying for a 3rd time for all that to really sink in.
Lucky Egg After fighting for a century without Zero X no longer cared about fighting mavericks he just kind of died inside knowing that the war will never stop even if it takes over a century to realize this. Hell if I was X I would've stop giving two shits in like a year.
If I could remember the webpage where I found out about the fps I'd send you it. It said X by the 3rd game(planned game) becomes corrupted by his own power which leads to Zero coming to stop him-something of that sort. I think the point is not even X is incorruptible. Imo that makes him even more human than before.
This is a fan dub I and another RUclipsr made, so it was our voices we added into the video. I don't know how to actually hack in custom fan voices, otherwise if the rom space could even handle that many sound files, I'd possibly do it for the whole game. (Not likely though.)
Zero remembers fighting both alongside and against X many years ago. He's talking about the real X. He compares that experience to the experience here of fighting a copy of X (created by Ciel).
Weil steals the Mother Elf as well and corrupts it into the Dark Elf, and so, with the Dark Elf and Omega, begins the deadliest war in history, the Elf Wars. After 4 years, Zero is awakened. He and X defeat Omega, Weil is sentenced to live forever in exile, and Zero decides to let himself be sealed forever in order to prevent history from repeating itself. That is when he is awakened 102 years later by Ciel. Thus begins the Zero series. Hope that answers further questions.
But the question would be, why? When X is portrayed as such a good character, what reason would there be to just make him turn inexplicably evil? Wouldn't that just undermine every principle about X he sought to establish in the X series?
Pirate can refer to someone who uses something that belongs to another without their authorization. When Copy X is referred to as the "pirate copy of X," Zero means he is not only a copy of X, but he has also stolen the persona of the real X. That is why the people of Neo Arcadia thought he was X, and found it strange when he started acting so differently.
Yeah, don't worry about it. I don't expect people to like my voice. =) It's just for fun and I wanted to try making sound a bit more like the original. I added effects to my voice such as higher pitch and echo to give it more of that robotic vibe that Copy X has in Japanese.
@londonbreksa That's why I asked him to try the part for Zero. :) But just to note, please take a listen to the original version of this as I modeled my voice after the Japanese version.
I'm a Mega Man history buff of a sorts. Those are actually their original bodies, but the Zero series simply took on a different art style. The body of Omega (which is Zero's real body) is the very one that Dr. Wily created hundreds of years before. As for X, his body is destroyed by Elpizo in Zero 2 while his Cyber Elf form is able to sustain enough energy to be in the real world for a short time (thus why he is officially dead at the end of Zero 3).
Yeah... He was built to be like X, but the Zero series does a great job of contrasting them, with X's mature, calm tone. Copy X had little to no experience since he was only built 8 years prior, so he convinced himself he was a perfect copy and probably even superior to X and Zero. X and Zero... have seen some real awful stuff in their days. A war that destroyed a majority of humanity and Reploids even. And that was all AFTER dealing with Sigma many many times and the Maverick virus.
@@TayoEXE No kidding, and speaking of Megaman games I'd love for there to be a Megaman X9 with Axl out of commission, and then Megaman ZX3 to finally bridge the gap between ZX & Megaman Legends.
@@AspieGamer1986 Yeah, definitely! I am super hopeful for more continuations. Maybe an X9 or future X game dealing with the Elf Wars. Maybe a new series entirely? It's practically the most deadly war in the timeline. Would love to see it explored more in depth. ZX Advent also left us hanging, so it's hard to see the connection to the Legends series. Would be nice to see that connected more.
Yes, we're just starting on another one. We do these just for fun, so they come when they come. If anyone wants to do voices for the Guardians or Dr. Weil.
Alright. I didn't have as much time as I thought I would yesterday. I'll just send you this audio without any background music or noise then. And yes, you have my permission.
I actually created that picture using an image of Copy X from Zero 3, recolored his eyes red, and place him in front of a background from one of cutscenes in Zero 1 I believe. I had to manually key frame the dialogue over it by moving it down and showing only the dialogue box. I thought it would make this look more like a remixed scene from a remake or something. I think it fits pretty well though. But no, it's not in the actual game.
Well, yes, the Classic Mega Man series, but the very first game in the series and in the Mega Man franchise is indeed "Mega Man" for the NES (technically Rockman for the Famicom).
@CCrockyourass First off, Copy X is a replied created based off the real X's DNA. Second, Copy X "claims" he is a perfect copy of the original X. Third, it's more of a robotic voice and this is the way his official voice is in the Japanese version.
@TayoEXE if your talking bout dubbing the copy x fight in zero 3, that would be awesome! But how would the real x sound like? BTW excellent dub u guys did!
The reason X wasn't used was because Capcom said "Lawl we're still cranking out X series games, and he's the good guy there". The original story of X turning tyrannical was set up all through X4 and X5.
People should notice this: The original X according to Dr. Light has the ability to infinitely evolve, being during combat or other situations that's why X was at the same level as New generation reploids, so...If Copy X transformed into that angel thing that means X when loses control or sanity will likely transform into that thing meaning that he is a perfect weapon.
The idea is that X, because of his special ability to show emotions, would finally develop a form of PTSD from all of the constant battles he'd been fighting until the end of the Maverick Wars and with Zero dead (Becaise he was dead in the original script, not sealed away) X would slowly snap after forming Neo Arcadia. Although, having X be the bad guy would have made the Dark Elf story a bit wonky because of the lack of X's original body as the seal.
I remember beating this game the first time the first time I beat Copy X was at one of my dad's baseball games when I was 11, it was one of the first games I completely beat, hard mode and all
It's because I used that image from Zero 3 when he was resurrected and recolored his eyes so they were red like in Zero 1. I actually didn't notice haha.
That's how Copy X sounds. I like it. He's crazy computer insane AI like glad0s :D But that Zero is awesome. Sounds a lot like Prometheus from ZXA "I'm going to destroy this whole wretched world!!!"

Yep! Since he sealed the Dark Elf within his body in Yggdrasil.
Maybe He's Sacrifice himself to Prevented the Maverick Wars
In the Mega Man ZX series He Reborn as Biometal Model X
@@duannekhristopermangampat9608 The Maverick Wars began back in the original X series when Sigma spread the Maverick virus. X put an end to this virus and Sigma once and for all many years later with the Mother Elf, which became the Dark Elf later from Dr. Weil's corruption.
@@duannekhristopermangampat9608 It's heavily implied that X is connected to Biometal X, so maybe his soul is connected somehow. The Biometals were created by Ciel after all.
Copy X has a bit of a Johnny Bosch in his voice. AWesome work, btw!
Thank you so much, and if that's the case i'll gladly wait for an even better dub. Thanks a lot TayoEXE, I really appreciate it.
Thanks! I barely have any time to make videos at the moment, but I will try to do it in the next month. After that, I won't be around to make videos for at least 2 years.
Oh, thanks! I would really like to get out the remake of the video because I redid the voice, but I'm still waiting on the other voices. :\
Zero Vs Copy X in The Final Boss
Zero's voice is so freaking epic,Good job!
Not gonna lie, that's the best voice for Copy X in my book.
actually is quite good, with the whole "robot feeling", since he is a copy
Once you say it your right. The backround is from Zero 3.
Thanks for the help,program healed.
The Ragna-type voice fits Zero so well here.I love this fandub =D
And Copy-X's voice sounds like a male GLaDOS.
I also have some ideas for voice types.
Ciel: Noel Vermillion
Harpuia: Jin Kisaragi
Fefnir: Bang Shishigami
Leviathan: Rachel Alucard
Phantom: Hakumen
Dr. Weil: Relius Clover
Neige: Tsubaki Yayoi
Copy X: Hazama/Terumi (While X would be Kazuma Kuvar)
Elpizo: That gay guy from Chronophantasma, Kagura?
Love Copy X's voice sounds pretty badass.
Yeah, I agree with Zero's voice. Though, if it sounds older, maybe it's more fitting since he is over a 100 years older than he was in the X series. ;)
And thanks for the thought on Copy X's voice.
I'm fine with that. :P Just make sure to look at why I modeled Copy X's voice like that. Zero and Copy X are indeed different characters.
For some reason i could see the guy who voiced zero doing a Wicked doctor light voice
(Not likely though.)
he really sounds like Zero's actual voice actor
Awsome dub work. Really talented
Yeah, I was really surprised how well he suited him. XD And here we were just doing this for fun.
That is how kind of how Copy X sounds. I have the links to the Japanese audio drama in the annotations.
Just saying, the “robotic” tone for Copy X is probably based on a Japanese Drama Track of the scene from Remastered Tracks Rockman Zero
Yeah, don't worry about it. I don't expect people to like my voice. =) It's just for fun and I wanted to try making sound a bit more like the original. I added effects to my voice such as higher pitch and echo to give it more of that robotic vibe that Copy X has in Japanese.
@londonbreksa
That's why I asked him to try the part for Zero.
This was pretty good. The voices were pretty good.
Copy X sure loved to shittalk about the Original X & Zero who had to deal with the continuous threat known as Sigma.
I know right? X was like my hero growing up.
Thanks for making this video...
Really good voice acting.
Wow, that music was extremely clear!
Yes, we're just starting on another one. We do these just for fun, so they come when they come. If anyone wants to do voices for the Guardians or Dr. Weil.
If you look VERY VERY closely at the end you can see Cyber-Elf X follow Zero out of the Room.
God damn, that Zero voice is awesome. @_@
Yes, that was what he did, and I'm fine with it. This is just for fun, but it kind of suits it better in my opinion.
I enjoy your name and your Xcelent pun.
People should notice this:
The original X according to Dr. Light has the ability to infinitely evolve, being during combat or other situations that's why X was at the same level as New generation reploids, so...If Copy X transformed into that angel thing that means X when loses control or sanity will likely transform into that thing meaning that he is a perfect weapon.
The zero voice is perfect. The Copy X is on point
Must be Copy X's chill attitude.
I couldn't have asked for a better voice for Zero.
I remember beating this game the first time the first time I beat Copy X was at one of my dad's baseball games when I was 11, it was one of the first games I completely beat, hard mode and all
I wonder if Dr. Wily would be turning in his grave if he knew his greatest creation saved humans instead of ruling. Perfect Irony.
It's because I used that image from Zero 3 when he was resurrected and recolored his eyes so they were red like in Zero 1. I actually didn't notice haha.
Yh, this guy suits him, my hat's off to him
I want this as an mp3 only to lisend to the awsomeness of this voices.
That's how Copy X sounds. I like it. He's crazy computer insane AI like glad0s :D
But that Zero is awesome. Sounds a lot like Prometheus from ZXA "I'm going to destroy this whole wretched world!!!"
Because his voice is based on his Japanese voice, which is different from even the original X's Japanese voice. :P
