Ken, about one month ago I bought the DX 35mm f1.8 lens and it sure takes nice photos. I bought it on eBay for $159.99 shipping included and no tax brand new. Thanks for your recommendations.
I purchased the Carl Zeiss Distagon 35mm f/1.4 and found that mine also has the purple fringing but it only seems to show up when my D850 is set on Vivid, I have no purple fringing on portrait, landscape nor any other setting and it is super sharp.
Can I just say thank you - after 8 years, your videos (including the others on your channel) are such a good reference for me. I live in Malta, so need to import anything I buy - thus can't 'try before I buy'. I shot Nikon for years, bought a used GFX50s since, and have bought all my lenses (not that many hahaha $$$) used after watching your reviews (some GF, some adapted Nikon) - including my dear 85mm planar Zeiss and will buy the 35mm f2 right now as I just found it for sale and think it will be a perfect walkaround lens. Much thanks for all the great advice.
Ken, I listen to no one but admit I bought the Zeiss Distagon 35mm f2 on your recommendation. You were 100% correct. It's fabulous. Sharp but the contrast is even better; magnificent and the build quality is unmatched. My favourite landscape lens.
Whats the best 35 /33 mm for the fuji x system? I want to use it mainly for portraits, art photos and also general walk around lens since I love the 50mm view. I would also like to use it for video. And I hate chromatic aberration :D
You are missing the new 35mm 1.8 ED FX lens. I have a copy and surprisingly it's got the leica dreamy pop at f/1.8-f/2. From f/2.8 on it's razor sharp. Strangely enough my first copy sucked due to inconsistent focus but the 2nd one I got, was WOW! Check it out, you might chuck quite a few of your 35mm out after trying one of those.
I am wondering why huge groups of people disregard the quality, sharpness and mention awful bokeh of Nikkor 35mm f/2D. Some reviewers say it's good for DX or low res/film cameras but once you come to 24MPix and higher it;s not ready to provide image quality and spending extra money for new 35mm f1.8G FX is way to go. I can;t find any reasonable side-by-side comparison with full crop images. Honestly I don;t care about sharpness in corners, this will not be landscape lens I would use, but rather wide portrait lens for events with shallow depth of field and background separation. Is it really good or has huge weaknesses ? What it is best purpose for it as its in this list ?
Just got the 35mm f2d. Thanks for recommendation. Loving it, Albeit the vignetting at F2. Its funny that current FX Nikkor 35mm is expensive n don’t add too much value over 35mm f2d
just look at the sample pics, they are mother f-ing amazing. i herd that lens recomened over voit's 40mm f2, for same price range, situation capabilities, altough i find it hard to buy something this chap doesn't specifically, recommend.
I love my Nikkor 35mm f2d. Been shooting it on my Nikon D600 and Nikon D850 for a while and it makes the perfect allround prime lens. The only complaint I have is that the connection between the rear of the lens and the camera has no rubber sealing. Been shooting in the desert and I had to add an external protection. I shot in a sandstorm and the protection worked well, but I would have loved a sealed lens.
I'm a huge fan, just curious about your thoughts on the Zeiss classic lenses not being weather/dust resistant. Have you had any issues with dust inside any of your Zeiss classic lenses? Thank you for your time!
Just seeing your comment. I have used two 50mm f 1.4 lenses and two 25mm f2 lenses. My first 50mm sample had issues right from the beginning. There were particles inside and on the aperature blades too. Eventuelly, It sliped out of my camera back when getting off my care and dropped it and onto tarmac (ouch) The lens was out of whack. Insurance paid for the repair to get the lens fully (also cosmetically) repaired. Zeiss left a tiny mark on the barrel but the lens has been clean inside since then. The tolerances are very tight on the lenses. Not a lot of dust should get inside unless you expose it to such environments.
I ordered the Zeiss 35mm f/2 a few days ago. It should be here Thursday. I can't wait. I was needing a new lens in that focal range. After you kept mentioning it, I did some further research and it looked like something I could really get some use out of.
Nikon 35mm F2 D vs Tamron 35mm 1.8 VC: which lens would give better overall image quality? (sharpness, color rendition, micro contrast, CA..)? Thank you Ken!
The first lens I purchased for my Nikon F body was a Nikkor 35mm f/2. That lens was my favorite for years until I replaced it with my new favorite, the Nikkor 35mm f/1.4 AIS. I use it in a 35/85/180 lens kit. The first lens I purchased for my Leica M6 body was a Zeiss 35mm f/1.4 ZM Distagon. I use it in a 21/35/90 lens kit. I also own a 35mm f/3.5 Super Takumar that I use on a Pentax Spotmatic as a backup to my more expensive equipment. On my Argus C3, I use a 35mm f/4.5 Tele-Sandmar that I use in a 35/50/100 kit. I have a Vivitar 35mm f/2.8 lens with an M42 mount that was given to me. However, I do not use this lens because it produces poor quality images.
Hi Ken, I was wondering if you have ever used or tested "m mount biogon 35mm f2" lens. If so, would you mind comparing it with the 35mm f2 distagon. Much appreciate what you are doing here. Thank you very much!!
You've really hit a nerve with your video and the excellent link regarding micro contrast, depth, and its relation to the number of glass elements. I bought the 35mm f2D off your recommendation - it has become one of my favourite lenses. Could you recommend a decent 50mm preferably from Nikon with AF?Currently got the AF-S 50mm 1.8G and 1.4G (we all make mistakes...). They're fine, the 1.8 is sharp but they're somewhat flat... Really appreciate your advice!
+Franz Steinberger heehehehehe, and its a CHEAP lens too. oooooh, WITH AF ehh?? well actually those AFS 50 arent bad at all. since you want AF 50s, thats a problem, but the cheapie 50mm 1.8 D AF is great however all the GREAT 50s are MF lenses.
Yannick Khong Thanks for the feedback. Then I'll just have to decide which of my two 50s (AF-S 1.4/1.8) to trade in for it... The rational choice would be the 1.4G as it is (in some respects) inferior to the 1.8G. Somehow cannot justify 3 50s ;-)
Hey I just started watching your videos and have learned a lot about micro contrast and depth. I then went through all my lenses to see which ones would be flat in your eyes, and i'm looking pretty clean, with the exception for the newer tamron macro (i valued the VC for wedding purposes). The only lens that i really still need is a 35, I do a lot of faster paced things such as wedding events and am not ready to forgo AF. That being said, I'm curious how you really feel about the new Tamron 35 from the angle that it has 10 elements (2 aspherical and 2 ed)? I know you have spoken positively of these lenses. I fully understand the properties of the nikkor f/2 but I don't think i want to stop it down enough for the minimum IQ that i've come to expect from my lenses.
Hi Ken, a question not exactly related to 35mm lenses, but to all lenses.... Do you use filters (UV, SKylight...) to protect the lenses? What opinion do you have? Thank you for your teaching
The Fijifilm X Series is a crop sensor system. If you wanted to compare like for like you should have reviewed the 23mm lens which acts like a 35 when on the x system. The fujinon 35mm lens is an extremely nice lens but gives a field of view of 50mm on an X camera. If you want 35mm results you should use a 23mm Fujinon lens.
Awesome review. I have two 35mm on my Fuji Jupiter 12 f2.8 and newer f1.7, but they’ve never quite hit the sweet spot. I bought the Nikon achromat lens from Lomography you reviewed a while ago, but their adapter was too tight. I recently discovered K&F M18111 Nikon G/F/AI/AIS/D Adapter, which is a dream. So your review opens me up to collecting Nikon lenses and using my beautiful achromat more often.
Hi Ken, what's your opinion of the Carl Zeiss Flektogon 35 mm f/2.4? I find it to be a very good lens on the same level as the great Nikkor E Series 35 mm f/2.5 (which I bought following your recommendation ;-) )
Hi, please give me your recommendation to which should i get, the nikon 35mm 1.8g or the tamron 35mm 1.8g, i am buying next week, i am more leaning on tamron because in one of your video you didnt like the nikon 1.8g, thanks a lot
Hey Ken, how about the best 35mm equivalent for DX? Cost not being an issue. I was thinking either the 20mm 1.8G you've recommended, over the 24 1.8g even though it falls at 30mm. Thanks for your time man! Appreciate it!
+Joe Campolo yes, but then youre paying for glass on the 20mm 1.8G not being used by the DX sensor, but its still a valid choice, yes. that would be a 30mm equiv. in crop
+Ivan Diaz the 35 is almost identical in performance, but i wanted the the local focal. both are excellent lenses however do NOT have fast AF but as a portraiture lens, they dont have to.
I see a Nikon 35mm f1.8 G AFS-ED on Craigslist for $325. I'm new to photography so forgive me if this is obvious but, would this be a good lens for my Nikon 610? It's in excellent condition. I'd appreciate your input.
Hello Ken, I know this video is few months old but I am finally in the postion to get some new glas. Does the Zeiss 35mm f2, Zeiss 35mm f1.4, NIkon 35mm f2 exhibit focus shift? Thanks in advance.
I even use it with 1.2crop factor on D750 FX body. That is just enough to get rid of vignetting and still get a lot of coverage more than DX. Excellent lens for the money.
Question, what do you think the "best bang for your buck" would be for a Nikon DX user when it comes to deciding between a 35mm f/1.8G or a Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8 VC? I realize they're not the same focal lengths but thought the Tamron would cover more of the "Normal" view range for DX users. Also, the cheapest I can find the 35mm f/1.8G lately is $199.99 new while I've located some Tamron 15-30mm f2.8 VCs for around $799.99.
The 35mm f/1:2 D (Made in Japan) is NOISY, they say. I wanted to buy it over the DX, (reason: Made in China) but the posting (by DigitalRev TV) discouraged me. After I bought the B/New silent DX 1:1.8 -- which is still in the mail-- I saw your posting and wonder if, outside your line of euphemisms about the performance of the D lens, you found it to be mechanically noisy, as well; which is bad for video taking, I suppose. Your "angry" opinion, maestro, if you don't mind. Thanks.
i dont consider anything for VIDEO about these lenses, the 35mm F2 D nikkor is the best value incredible lens, great microcontrast, saturation and renderi. ALL D series are noisy,....i dont make videos, ever, about video making
Does lenses with good CA performance usually have poor micro contrast and depth rendition? Is there a lens with low element count and still have good CA performance?
+Aaron Yang no, but its usually the case with very fast (1.8 , 1.4 , 1.2) lenses that have been designed (too many elements) to correct out the CA. yes, lenses at focals (in general) at 85mm and above with low element count dont have bad CA but that varies in lens design but is generally the case.
Thank you for answering this question. I've observed that most wide angle large aperture lenses with good CA usually have a ton of glasses in them, and guessed that there's some trade-off.
I just won a nikon 35mm f2 on ebay. Not the f2:D , is there a HUGE difference, or should i just stick with the one i purchased lens? PLEASE HELP IM SO CONFUSEDDD :(
ken, I noticed that you use filters instead of hoods. In protecting the front element. what type of filter do you recommend that will not cause loss of image quality? or is there any? thanks!
+Gee Aaa If you don't want any loss in quality. Hoya HD clear protection glass filters are the best. Also known as Hoya HD protector. It is a high quality clear glass just for protection only, that is easy to clean, extra hardened glass, anti scratch/stain resistance. But yeah clear protector are more expensive though. But are worth it. It cost from $25 - $55 a piece dependent on the size of the filter you need.
Theoria Apophasis It is Eight-Layer Multi-Coating clear glass though. I've used them and seems like Hoya is the best in clear protective filters. Which does not affect the quality of the lens. One day I will have the 24-70mm Nikon lens and will put a Hoya HD protector on it and shoot all day long.
The only 35mm lens I have is a $90 Huonghu 35mm F2 af lens. Well that's the Breaking Wind in the room moment. I will say that I quite like it. Made in China and the Huonghu people are going to be big in the future I predict. OK, now I leave. I bought it when I had been drinking. Looks cool with the Nikon HB-47 lens hood on it.
since coming from bangladesh (I bet u got no clue we're that is) its BLOODY EXPENSIVE for us. peace. but il try to save enough paper for that lens I guess.
Hey, Ken. Bought a 35mm 1.8g DX to go with my D7100. Problem is that this lens is back focusing a lot. I went to the AF fine tune and had to place the correction on the minus 16 mark. Now the lens is - apparently - working and focusing fine. None of my other lens had this problem. Is this normal or should I ask Nikon for a refund?
+Theoria Apophysis bought it a month ago. Its still in warranty but before exchanging it I would like your input. I'm aware that some lens require the fine tuning but I've never heard of a new and modern lens that required a tuning as high as 16 (the maximum amount is 20). However, after I've dialed the -16 on the AF fine tuning the lens is working fine, pretty sharp. Do you think that I should still exchange it?
how is it doing on FX bodies ? Honestly did you find any weaknesses compared to 50mm ? I have 50mm f/1.4 and would love to get 35mm. This f2 has terrible reviews on bokeh, sharpness and overall IQ on FX. I assume it;s a lot of marketing to push those highly expensive f1.4 lens that's heavy as well and I am rather looking for something lightweight. Any sample images to share ? I am not looking for corner sharpness, it will be out of focus background separation that I intent to use it for. Would love to hear some hands on review from people owning it.
@@OscarHanzely I bought the 35mm f2d but had to send it back. I loved the size and the rendering but the autofocus just did not deliver on my d750. It missed focus to much but when focus was nailed the images were beautiful. Too bad!
I currently have a nikon d7200 and nikon d750. For my nikon d7200 i have a nikon 35mm 1.8g dx lens. Im looking to get a true 35mm for my d750 for street photography. I was thinking about getting a Nikon 35mm f2 since it would be compatible with both and i could sell my current dx lens.Would it make sense to have a full frame lens on a dx body or to have both? Would you recommend this or have a better alternative? Thanks in advance
it depends on where you are i found it once for 72$ and it was mint condition e-bay is the place to keep your eye on zeiss 35f2.4 for 442 mount is super super old lens
+Darryl Cobb IM GONNA LAY SOME HEAVY TONIGHT AND F*CK PEOPLES MINDS UP BEYOND THE LIMIT OR WHAT I CALL "WHY AM I THE ONLY MOTHER***** TALKING ABOUT THIS?????"
when youve repaired lenses for MORE than 20 years and owned more lenses than god, then youll know more than me about lenses until then........ Sigma lenses dont last long, they have poor quality control and sample variation. buy what what you want, i know better
replaced my 35mm sigma art lens 3 times cause none of them were focusing correctly on mh D810.finally got my Tamron 35 f1.8 vc worked like a marvel from the first moment.
I think as a communicator you should pay more attention to your oral/speaking skills. It is very hard to follow you since you speak so fast and with so little articulation. When you said the name of the Nikon lense I thought you were speaking Croatian honestly. LOL besides from that, good review and nicely picked models.
Talking about the best 35mm lenses for Nikon and this man says the 35 1.8g is not very good and calls the 35mm 1.4g horrible... lmao like your cringe tats weren't enough reason to write you off immediately, much appreciate you fully cementing the block of your channel.
Ken, about one month ago I bought the DX 35mm f1.8 lens and it sure takes nice photos. I bought it on eBay for $159.99 shipping included and no tax brand new. Thanks for your recommendations.
The Nikon 35 f2 AF-D is my favorite lens on my D700. You are correct about everything regarding this lens. It's wonderful.
I purchased the Carl Zeiss Distagon 35mm f/1.4 and found that mine also has the purple fringing but it only seems to show up when my D850 is set on Vivid, I have no purple fringing on portrait, landscape nor any other setting and it is super sharp.

What about oil developing on the blades of the 35mm f2d Nikkor? Store upside down?
I appreciate the vid, but I'm missing the still available Nikkor 35mm F1.4 AI-S manual Focus lense.

You left out the Nikkor 35mm ƒ2 AIs. West Coast Ken didn't like it, the Moose did, so I was hoping for a knowledgeable opinion.
On the other night core lenses take for instance the 85 mm 1.4 what is your personal Pinyan about the quality of that lens

Nikon 35mm F2 D vs Tamron 35mm 1.8 VC: which lens would give better overall image quality? (sharpness, color rendition, micro contrast, CA..)? Thank you Ken!

Thanks for the feedback. Then I'll just have to decide which of my two 50s (AF-S 1.4/1.8) to trade in for it... The rational choice would be the 1.4G as it is (in some respects) inferior to the 1.8G. Somehow cannot justify 3 50s ;-)

Thank you for your teaching
+Alex Viladiu i do use high quality COATED (only coated) AR protective filters on about 60% of my lenses.
BW or HOYA
+Theoria Apophasis Hi, TY for your answer! And what about the other 40%? Why not using?
Hi Ken, which one produce better image, the f2 D or the f2.5 E?
thank you.
hey mate, what do you think about the nikkor 35mm 2.8 ai? thanks
Do you have any review on 35mm ai 1.8, 2.0, 2.8?
The Fijifilm X Series is a crop sensor system. If you wanted to compare like for like you should have reviewed the 23mm lens which acts like a 35 when on the x system. The fujinon 35mm lens is an extremely nice lens but gives a field of view of 50mm on an X camera. If you want 35mm results you should use a 23mm Fujinon lens.

What are your thoughts on yongnuo 35mm ? I am shooting on Nikon DX
Curious, does a lens or a sensor set sharpness in a video image?
Is the 35mm f2.0 AIS nikkor worth buying for 175 cad$. For FX camera D750.
yess
What about the nikkor 35 f/2 AI lens? I have an old one and it looks good after just taking a few shots.
Got 35 mm f1.8 DX for my D7100 , cuz Ken make me do it - the lens is awesome, but in UK is £135!!
+Nikolai Tsakov hey man !
nothing on the Zeiss X mount 32mm f1.8 ?

I use the Zeiss Distagon 35mm f2 on a canon crop sensor camera with a speed booster, which gives me two more stops of light (f1.4).
no it doesnt ROFL...you dont get MORE light after the 1st element
is the nikon af-d 35mm a sharp lens. i do not think my copy is. how best to test the sharpness of a lens, especially this one...
the nikkor 35 f2 have better quality that the nikon 35 f2.5 E?
Hoa about the Nikkor 35mm AI-S f2.8 manual focus? It sells around 80$! also lightweight :-) Decent performance?
yes it is, not great however…. spend $80 more for a 35mm f2 D AF nikkor , used on ebay
What are your thoughts on the Tamron SP 1.8 Di with VC? You did a review on the 45 but not the 35.
+Ivan Diaz the 35 is almost identical in performance, but i wanted the the local focal.

Hello Ken, I know this video is few months old but I am finally in the postion to get some new glas. Does the Zeiss 35mm f2, Zeiss 35mm f1.4, NIkon 35mm f2 exhibit focus shift? Thanks in advance.
those are MF lenses.
I had lens fungus on an expensive lens that put me off the manual lenses. The quality is excellent though
These primes are really easy to pull apart and clean.
35mm 1.8G DX is awesome. This is always my go to lens on my D7100. I love this plastic magic!
+Gael32 easy, 15-30 tammy
+Theoria Apophasis Thanks much! Really appreciate it.
some guy is selling 35mm g ED for $320, take it?
Any recommendation for best 28mm or 24 mm nikon lens ?
24 and 28mm 1.8G nikkor
Very good video, thank you Kinny.
what about thw nikkor 35 mm 2.8 japan?
In your opinion is a 35mm lens the best choice for landscape and candid street photography?
that would be the 24mm
Agreed, I wish I could afford the Nikkor 24mm 1.4 G.
can u make a video about cinema lenses in general?
PLEASE HELP IM SO CONFUSEDDD :(
+Geremy Grey ooooh , thats a very good lens too :) keep it :) or sell it for a profit :)
ken do you recommend me to buy the nikon 35mm 2.5 E?
yes, its awesome and cheap
+Theoria Apophasis is better than the nikon 35 1.8 DX?
ken, I noticed that you use filters instead of hoods. In protecting the front element. what type of filter do you recommend that will not cause loss of image quality? or is there any? thanks!
+Gee Aaa they all do, some far less than others, BW or HOYA HMC
i only use filters on about 60% of lenses
cool thanks!
NOPE............, you never wanna use clear glass, only AR coated glass.
Theoria Apophasis It is Eight-Layer Multi-Coating clear glass though. I've used them and seems like Hoya is the best in clear protective filters. Which does not affect the quality of the lens. One day I will have the 24-70mm Nikon lens and will put a Hoya HD protector on it and shoot all day long.
hey ken, i've found a minty 35/2 ais, is it a good buy or not for $130? or just go with an afd? thanks
+Shwinton Kengkanrua AIS lens? sok, but thats no steal, no. AF D , yes
Looks cool with the Nikon HB-47 lens hood on it.
any recommendations on an afs 35mm 1.4 for dx? i love the dx 35mm 1.8 and NEED a faster one.
i have the zeiss 35mm 1.4 and its the only 1.4 id ever recommend, but its expensive as hell.
since coming from bangladesh (I bet u got no clue we're that is) its BLOODY EXPENSIVE for us. peace. but il try to save enough paper for that lens I guess.
what about the nikkor 35mm f2 ai how are its characteristics?
+soulstart89 its an excellent lens.
+Henrique Marcos how long ago did you buy it, exchange the lens :( :/
+Theoria Apophysis bought it a month ago. Its still in warranty but before exchanging it I would like your input.
I'm aware that some lens require the fine tuning but I've never heard of a new and modern lens that required a tuning as high as 16 (the maximum amount is 20).
However, after I've dialed the -16 on the AF fine tuning the lens is working fine, pretty sharp. Do you think that I should still exchange it?
I love love love love (did I mention love?) my nikon 35/2 on my full frame. I don't even use my 50 anymore because of this lens.
how is it doing on FX bodies ?
Too bad!
@@richmanuel13 yeah my comment was 3 years back and I ended up never getting it and went for new versions of 35mm lens.
what about the 35mm Tamron f1.8 VC ?
+Jeff Chen also great, i have the 45mm version of that series :) i did test the 35mm also
What’s your opinion of Nikon 35mm f1.8 G ED AF-S Nikkor Lens???
which one? the FX or DX one
FX one mate.
?
How about nikon 35mm f1.4 nc
I currently have a nikon d7200 and nikon d750. For my nikon d7200 i have a nikon 35mm 1.8g dx lens. Im looking to get a true 35mm for my d750 for street photography. I was thinking about getting a Nikon 35mm f2 since it would be compatible with both and i could sell my current dx lens.Would it make sense to have a full frame lens on a dx body or to have both? Would you recommend this or have a better alternative? Thanks in advance
+Michael Flores 35mm F2 D AF nikkor is only 180$ used and is the TITS, yes, works perfect FX or DX use.
+Theoria Apophasis thanks so much! will try to find a used one in good condition
Oh shit! I sold my 85mm f/1.8 and kept the 35mm f/2 D! Can't get rid of that damn lens!
Is it your go to lens ? I consider it buying for FX body 24Mpix. Will I see degraded image quality on such a high resolution ?
take degraded thingies like a grain of salt, man! you can never go wrong with that lens, quite underpriced, light weight
Do you know the Takumar 35mm f2?
i do, yes
Is it worth the ebay price of above 100€?
it depends on where you are
i found it once for 72$ and it was mint condition
e-bay is the place to keep your eye on
zeiss 35f2.4 for 442 mount is super super old lens
35 mm f2 D is a DX lens right?
+Sergio Anguiano no, the 35mm F2 D AF is a FX lens :)
tamron primes are not desirable, for what budget and what use?
Whats your opinion on adding CPU to older MF F mount lenses
waste of time and money 100000%
What about 35mm in M42 mount?
which one
I should clarify the question. What are the best 35mm lenses in M42 mount? I love the vintage glass.
@@gearwax hi mate did you get a 35mm with M42 Mount?
For a DX camera I'd a person had the 35mm f1.8 G lens would it be beneficial to get the 35mm F2 D lens or would the image quality be the same?
Regards
looks like this guy looted the camera store he used to work in xD
Based on all the lenses he has, I'd say he owned the camera store.
35mm 1.8 dx is awesome although the focus ring is kinda shitty.
Awe you forgot to include the sigma 35 1.4... ;P
Thank you for this! Really appreciate it!
+Darryl Cobb
IM GONNA LAY SOME HEAVY TONIGHT AND F*CK PEOPLES MINDS UP BEYOND THE LIMIT
OR WHAT I CALL "WHY AM I THE ONLY MOTHER***** TALKING ABOUT THIS?????"
THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!!!
Make review for samyang 35mm 1.4 please
Sigma and Sony has their 35mm lenses beaten by this lens:
ruclips.net/video/W-w1IqNZ-40/видео.html
The Nikon 35mm 1.4G has 10 elements the Zeiss 1.4 Distagon has 11.
The zeiss optic > Nikon
ridiculous not to include the sigma 35mm 1.4, just unsubscribed!
+STEHH87 sigma makes only junk.
hahaha the only thing that's junk are your videos!
Sigma. lol
when youve repaired lenses for MORE than 20 years and owned more lenses than god, then youll know more than me about lenses
until then........
Just bought a Nikon 35mm f2
+MrDCB1234 the f2D or AI? And how is it?
f2D. Great lens.
MrDCB1234 I just ordered the 35mm f2.8 ais. Been a long time since I shot 35mm.
Talking about the best 35mm lenses for Nikon and this man says the 35 1.8g is not very good and calls the 35mm 1.4g horrible... lmao like your cringe tats weren't enough reason to write you off immediately, much appreciate you fully cementing the block of your channel.
what about the 35mm Ai-s F2?
I'm wondering also. I am looking for a 35mm for my FM2N, and torn between the AIS 35mm F2 Nikor and the Zeiss 35mm F2 ZF.2
