This music blesses my heart! Sandy continues to amaze and bless me, by using her God-given, Holy Spirited annointed talents for God. Great job done by all! ❤
Gerald doesn't give himself enough credit...he's still got it! And those two Hall of Famers, Gerald Wolfe and Mark Trammell showed how it's done on this old song! And Sandy Peyton on the organ and Soprano part wasn't bad either! But I still say Greater Vision needs to record this one...and yes....with Gerald singing the Lead on it! What a blessing this video is!
That Heavenly Home Verse: 1 I'm looking away, beyond the dark stream, to heaven's fair home, of which I had dreamed, there millions have gone, it's glory to share, get ready my friend, to live over there. Chorus: That heavenly home, lies over death sea, where loved ones I know, are waiting for me, with Jesus we'll live, in glory divine, that heavenly home, will surely be mine. Verse: 2 That heavenly home, has mansions of light, no storm clouds will rise, no shadows of night, no sorrow no pain, all sin will be gone, we'll live with the Lord, while ages roll on. Ending Chorus: My heavenly Home, lies over dead sea, where loved ones I know, are waiting for me, with Jesus we'll live, in glory divine, that heavenly home, will surely be mine.
I wish I had an opportunity to tell the experience I had while listening to this over and over when it first hit live facebook before. It is a song that was still used back in the Middle Tenn church congregational singing and loved. Truly a classic. Surely the Holy Spirit was in this singing, and playing, for even now listening once more, I am richly blessed. Just wonderful!
I love how he sang the #3rd verse different than the original "That Heavenly home has mansions of light No storm clouds will rise, no shadows of night; That city foursquare, no sun shall outshine Get ready my friend, to live over there!
Rack Stacker With all due respect to Scott Fowler, Mark Trammell was the greatest baritone singer the Cathedral Quartet ever had. The baritone part is the hardest part to hear, but when it’s missing you know it. Also, when you have a good one, the quartet goes from good to great, and in the case of The Cathedrals, they were elite in the 1980s…
My mom had this song on an album when I was growing up. I love hearing Gerald, Mark, and Sandi singing it!
I miss hearing Gerald sing. Have been a fan of greater vision since its inception. Love this rendition

Mark Trammel has the richest baritone I've ever heard...man alive what a tone!
