I just stumbled across this great singing fest! Reminds me of my Grandfather preaching in a little white church on the hill above his house where the people would make the rafters sing back in the early 1960s!

The church who has lost its hymns has lost its great and magnificent heritage of solid Christ-centred faith. They have traded immeasurable riches for passing hollow shallowness. The ancient landmarks of the faith are lost forever when they are rejected and forgotten. Make hymns great again!
I am 81 years plus and these old hymns bring back memories from my childhood when my mother was faithful to God to bring up a child the way he should go. Praise the Lord God for these inspiring old hymns and the beautiful instruments making a joyful noise.
The hymns don’t make you a better Christian. That said, some of the modern p &w are to repetitive
I’m 72 and I don’t need a hymnal to sing along. I love the old hymns, but I also love new P&W! If it glorifies the Lord, then it’s wonderful. I have grandkids follow the Lord and they ❤ His Praises!

Here in Romania, young people have abandoned the old hymns and the music they promote is totally different from what was sung in the Church 30-40 years ago...!
It's an imitation of Hillsong music, the worship music...!
So this style of music is almost gone....we still sing it some nostalgic...!😥

I was born in 1947 and this is the hymns I heard since I was born! I had a great mother and was in church my whole life!
Its the same in IOWA. In fact, its hard to find a local church that uses the old hymnals

All the gorgeous hymns from long ago . We has long choruses singing sessions as well as these hymns at my former church but in a more up-tempo pace and we used to rock the roof off !

Who said drums, guitars, piano and organ can't be used for the old hymns. Just wonderful,praise God.
They can be used but sometimes the drums just ruined the song with the loud bang.

Some of the most awesome hymns in the world. I have been playing them all my life. Thank you so much for bringing these to us is such wonderful videos from all over the world. I didn't know Aussies could sing so good. Maybe Christ has made a difference down under just as much as He has done everywhere. God is good. Keep praising the Lord everywhere you can. Thank you for the great video, "30 Minutes in Australia". Loved these great hymns and songs. I notice that there was a moment or two when some of the lyrics briefly flashed up on the front screen but no captions were available throughout. It makes a huge difference for the deaf and hard of hearing to have the lyrics captioned on videos for after all we are sharing the best news ever for a needy world. I was wondering why it was different than the usual posts of the ones in the USA. I can see glimpses of some of the singers sitting down but few of their songs are shown. Still good but I miss the variety.

I am a Music Minister in Texas and we sing the grand old hymns of the faith from the hymnal. We don't have smoke machines and mood lighting with songs nobody knows but the ones on the stage showing off and calling it worship. If they do bring in a hymn, it's so jazzed up that you can't sing it. I love it that we are considered "old fashioned" but my congregation can just as ramped up singing the hymns as these young bucks can performing what ever it is they call it.
This thrilled me! I haven't been able to go to church the last few years due to my husband is ill so I can go to church here with y'all!!!!

What a great Blessing to have to see, meet and attend our very first Gospel Hymn sing with you all. The Spirit of our wonderful Savior truly filled the venue to the roof and back. Thank you all so very much for making such a long journey and putting up with the Sydney heat. My Ausie friend Sandy will be there to be with you all when you come to the Sydney Opera House in 2025/26, GOD willing. I love you all so very much for making my Prayers come through for me.
