In this video I'm going to give you a tour of what I had as my little Parisian studio apartment in central Paris! After a couple months of looking for a place to live in Paris, we found this little place! It was 11 meters squared and under the eaves, so almost like a "chambre de bonne," but more spacious and newly renovated. Plus it had its own wc!
I'm Alessandra, a Mexican who's been living all around the world, in France for the past 3 years. I recently moved to Valencia, Spain after finishing a masters degree. But will be back soon!

Oh My gosh! You got everything.. just for you! This is beyound perfect for a student life & adventurer! I love it. And the brand new renovated bathroom added the extra charm to it. Maybe.. spice up yhe room with some pictures, bright colours.. faux plants then oh la la. great deal, great city! Awwww envy a girl in Paris!
She’s a beautiful, positive girl and if she’s happy in her space then good for her. But, frankly, I think a person who would rent out that cupboard as an apartment, and charge money for it, should be flogged through the streets. I thought London rents were bad (they are!) but Paris seems to be even worse.

A pretty apartment in my opinion. Has a decent washroom, cozy bed, a window with nice view, seems to be on a good location (has the Parisian vibe) and is super affordable. Very good for a single person!

I am brazilian so is very familliar for me tiny and expensive spaces, especially in São Paulo. Living in Brasil sometimes if you're poor is like "I can get used this tiny space" LMAO

It's super cute and has all one needs. Your bathroom is lovely , with a lot of storage space within it. You have an actual kitchen , which is also attractive and functional. It's clean ,modern and cosy yet full of character. I thought the window you closed was the best part , as the view from it was quintessential ' Paris.' It's a lovely home , as long as your neighbour and yourself are compatible.

Just discovering this little story-post now. I see that this was 2 years ago... BUt i have to say omgosh that was a Wonderful little flat for -WOW ! - 520e ?! Wonderful! clean, the kitchen & bathroom both are actually quite 'large' for the teensy apartment. I would also have been Thrilled & so thankful to have found that flat. THANK YOU for sharing it w/us!

I would consider attaching a fold down desk to the white door at the end of the kitchen. So when you close the door you fold it down and you can eat/work from it.

Such a helpful video! Can you also tell how much did the extra things (electricity bill, water bill, wifi...) cost you? And overall how much you had to pay in a month with those additional costs in mind?

This is insane.....I had no idea that 11m2 apartments even existed in Europe...This like the size of my bedroom only.

Wow u r crazy showing your surroundings and environment. Are you not afraid of your security. You could directly show your apartment tour instead of showing the streets and entryway and the process and everything.

My tiny is in Vienna, 15 min by Tram to d Center. 10m2 room and 5m2 bathroom and wc.. no kitchen. I pay monthly 40€ rent, 120 € elektricity, 35€ Internet . I have income 850€ and thats enough 4 eating outside.

hey just came across this video and I am planning on moving to Paris from New york. Is it really as difficult to get an apartment as you said? How did you get this one and how long did it take you to get one?
It really depends on your budget and month you get there! i found it on PAP and it took me 2 months
I love your space and not having to go down the hall to the WC is a really, really nice convenience. I was so disappointed (not in you!) to see the junk mail in your box. I somehow thought only the US generated such worthless trash.

Showing your neighbourhood and the exact way to the door of your appartment is a huge safety issue - you should check out a few videos by a guy whose channel is called "the cyber mentor", he demonstrates why. Someone sketchy could basicalky find you with way less info than what you gave away. Please people be safe.
