I havent tried the 10, but i won the 8 in a raffle. The 1st pour of the 8 i got tons of oak, not so much on the second. The finish i found was the best part. It wasnt a super long finish, but the notes in the finish i enjoyed more. Definitely dont get any fruit in it, and it is very sweet. Like confectionery sugar. Candy corn actually pretty accurate as well. The 2nd pour i did have some oak, but not nearly as much as the 1st pour. 1st pour was an oak bomb for me, not tannic oak, but sweet oak, kinda like the woodford double oaked. They dont taste the same, but the sweet oakiness is very similar. Mouth feel was pretty good.

Hey Steve! Interesting that two years would make that much of a difference. I'm assuming the price difference (at least MSRP) isn't too much between the two. Someday I'll be able to do the comparison myself but I'll be on the lookout for the 10 year. Thanks for the video!

Thank YOU! The price is about the same, but strangely on secondary, I see it going for same or even more than 10 year bottle, which is outrageous.
