Just got one, paid 300 but have never seen available in the wild for cheaper. Had it in a bar once and it was amazing!

I blinded a store pick Stagg with Stagg 23C and Stagg 18. For me the 18 was better than the 23C. 23C tasted like a watered down 18. Individually each is great. Nice video. I ll never find EHT BP at msrp. Thanks for video. Cheers

hey great honest review. I have to agree. I was so excited when I got it. I normally don't go home and just pop open a bottle, I did with this one and was so underwhelming. I need to go back an try again, but I agree with you on this one. cheers

Stagg is still the best attainable value in bourbon. Its just very hard to get but attainable and more attainable than eh taylor bp. 22a has been my favorite batch.

Another great video Steve. I had that same batch of Stagg and yes it was hot. Great flavors though. I prefer the 22A or 23C to that batch. Still no luck finding that EHT barrel proof.

You must have gotten a bad bottle of JD. Mine isn’t bitter at all and tastes nothing like you describe. My michters is dense in flavors, probably because it’s single barrel.

Even as an employee of Sazerac, it was still a mission to score one of these. Masterclass of bourbon

Old Forester is 10 years only?!?! That's Young Forester in my book. Great review, I think I will stick to the Single Barrel at this inflated price point.

You would think BT would do a better job for one of their better master distillers just saying. And taters gotta tate I’m shocked at how much some pay for this and other BT bottles. It’s a 40 bottle all day. I’ve seen this priced at 400 and that is just ridiculous. Enjoy!!

First time viewer. Just a bit of critic. The music is so forward that it kinda downs out your voice. #1 rule in content creating, people will put up with bad video quality if the audio is good. Your Video quality is great. Bring your voice more to the front, music more in the background. About the vid: totally agree with your take on ETL. It’s an ok bourbon. I can’t understand the secondary pricing on this.

Thanks for this review, I’ll most likely pass if our friend gets it again. You should try it the way Elmer T. Lee liked it. He mixes his bourbon with 7up or Sprite according to a video of him that Brewzle posted. I’m sure the way these bourbon creators drink their bourbon drives the taters insane.

I like the BP too but the Sib is probably the best out of the attainable ones.

I havent tried the 10, but i won the 8 in a raffle. The 1st pour of the 8 i got tons of oak, not so much on the second. The finish i found was the best part. It wasnt a super long finish, but the notes in the finish i enjoyed more. Definitely dont get any fruit in it, and it is very sweet. Like confectionery sugar. Candy corn actually pretty accurate as well. The 2nd pour i did have some oak, but not nearly as much as the 1st pour. 1st pour was an oak bomb for me, not tannic oak, but sweet oak, kinda like the woodford double oaked. They dont taste the same, but the sweet oakiness is very similar. Mouth feel was pretty good.

How would you compare GTS 2020 vs. GTS 2022 and GTS 2023? If you could get any of the three, which would you choose? Asking as my girlfriend said she would find me one for my birthday :) Thank you!
