Thanks so much, I've been looking for a tute on how to do this for ages, found plenty on creating a plexus style animation but none that include text! BRILLIANT!
@@a3haus Just a quick question Nicholas if that's okay? Just working through this at the moment and instead of using the animated numbers I've just used text which looks great for my needs but I have two of everything. I used 10 text strings but the animation is displaying 20 any ideas as how I could just have one of each text string please? Many thanks!
@queenvictoriahospital hmm, I’m not 100% able to picture what u mean but essentially it will instance an item until each point has been allocated an item, so if u have 20 points you’ll get 20 items (2 of each) - to get more control u could use the scale instances and use a noise texture with a colour ramp the function to constant to remove / turn some instances to scale:0.00 hope that’s helpful - dm me on instagram or email me if ur still stuck
@@a3haus A quick update! I found out where I was going wrong! I'm using an Icosphere instead of the grid and the icosphere has twelve points for the text to be attached to. I was using less and of course it was just repeating certain texts, not all of them as I first thought! Problem solved and really happy with the result, just what I needed, so many thanks again for your help! Cheers!😃

@@a3hausThanks Nicholas, I'll have a play around. Still a bit new to Blender and this is a great way to learn. Thanks again!
