05:05 About turning style and speed: When such a huge object goes 70-80 km/h that should be the normal behavior. Ferrari's and its friends' turning abilities are abnormal, if not even paranormal... 😂
+ It doesn't even make sense for Ferrari's to have better ground resistance than tracked tanks. If tanks have tracks it's for a reason. Tracks = better on soft terrain than wheels

@@brolysupersaiyan1634EBRs should should have to be in their slow mode in order to use medium or soft terrain effectively That's what those metal wheels are for. In exchange buff their VR a little bit and Nerf their camo. Hey would still be capable of getting up the top speed on medium terrain but not as fast as now. Edit: also give them a small bit of mode changing time in order to balance and require that they actually take a moment to decide which which mode to use.
The ferraris shouldn't be able to hit shit on the move, a bit like the old elc bis

@@ASSASSIN19923that wont fix the problems of the tank. 60 km/h is fast enough for this tank since you can't bounche anything. The camo is shit aswell so going for spots is not smart.
@@thijsjansen7600 No medium should be that fast. Heavies should go to 40 maximum, mediums to 50 maximum and lights 50+ minimum.

I noticed the tank turns like a normal tracked tank. You can traverse while sitting still. Vs ebr that has to go front and back. So it's not as nimble as the wheeled lights while moving. But seems balanced interesting
Yeah the whole line will be like that. I actually think that's good, allows them to play city way more comfortably
Skill is just used to playing broken tanks to ramp up stats. I see nothing wrong with this tank, it looks very good actually.
It's worse than the bouras(which is the most op medium tank) so it's the worse premium tank.

Im glad you do first impressions these new tanks confused me on paper they confuse me slightly less now.
It's just a normal medium tank with wheel skin. It's actually boring rather than confusing.
This tank is made to handle the 15-1 simulators. Quick enough to chase when winning and forcing you to play from the back so you'll live longer when losing

This line of tanks will play exactly like the AMX CDC back in the day. Huge, Paper, fast, more alpha (thank god), moderately long reload, good accuracy. If you liked the playstyle of the CDC, this is the tank for you, its got a bit more punch to it now though.
The problem is, it's like the AMX CDC is now!
@@ragetobe yes, but with 360 alpha instead of 280. You can actually perform in it.
@@Xenotork The CDC is paper thin and gets destroyed, I don't think the 280 alpha is the main problem, akin to the CDC the size and lack of armour will be the issue.
Maybe for me, M4A1 might be more similar other than speed.

Just a suggestion for u skill: Mailand played this tank with bounty turbo. together with field mods this makes this tank go 40 kmh backwards and therefore you can neglect the bad turning speed on the frontline. You just drive into position shoot and back off straight. It is an intersting and unsusual playstyle but in mailands video it worked very well. Just as an information if you wanna try it.

This tank isn't very strong or broken, and that's what i like from WG.
I am absolutely willing to support WG in this kind of premium tanks, and i am most likely going to purchase this one. The gun handling is the most important for me. The less the stupid RNG, the better imo.

I saw one of these on the other team last night. I didn't notice it was a CC playing it until the post game stats.
I think it would be nice for this thing to have a bit of armor on the turret like the t44, not reliable but you can wiggle to make it work, since the body is huge a bit of protection can make this tank more fun in my opinion

Feels like a balanced vehicle. For it mainly being a sniper i would like the shell velocity to be a bit higher though.
that's why they made APCR to be gold, so you have to spam gold and buy premium account to make credits with it

@@alanwatts8239 I don't mind that 920... same as 279e and similar to Progetto, but when you label something "sniper", you don't expect it to throw potatoes at your enemies
It's not really balanced, terrible dpm, terrible camo, bad shell velocity, terrible armour, turns like a Maus, and the view range is also bad, and with the odd crew you need to run optics and vents, a lot of tracked mediums can take a Turbo and be more mobile, it has nothing but ok gun handling going for it.
@@johnfarscape 8° of gun depression, very accurate gun, okay camo, nice shell velocity (I am not a pussy and will fire APCR), the unique crew might be preview of the new line, tank has a huge skill gap... so your whining sounds just like a skill issue
You can use turbo in this tank and in all line becuase wg call this class wheel medium tank.
That means even if they on wheels they still mediums with all posibilities like for medium including turbo.
This paper tank reminds me of the AMX CDC but with a bigger gun. It has to be played like a Leopard at tier 8 but the BZ-176 users will have fun farming HP from this thing. It might be a slightly more accurate version of the Lansen but with worse DPM. Penetration is ok with standard but not so great with gold. Still, slow AP shell velocity so WG made the gold APCR for the gold spam. It seems balanced at the moment.
Matilda LVT have a 3 man crew where the gunner is loader and the comander is radio operator (but not loader). I have a LVT crew so I will use that on this medium line.

Looks like a fast support tank.More specific maybe more firepower to support the smaller lights,to help gain vision

this thing turns like a pig in mud. also its very sluggish when you try to giggle forward & back. has no armour. gun is nice though. hits pretty well on the move.
This tank reminds me of my beloved Dragoon-90 or however it was called in Armored Warfare. I hope wg continues to release such vehicles, meaning that they don't have to have "turbo mode" like ebr or that they're able to turn like a crazy mothertrucker. I'm actually looking forward to wheeled tds if they come to the game.
You don't have to wait, this tank pretty much IS a wheeled TD.

@skill4ltu have you noticed, that something is constantly hitting your microphone? At least it sounds like that. Maybe there is not enough insulation between the micro and the desk?

Cobra has its commander as radio operator but not loader, so Gsor1010 is unique in its crew
Tanks like this would make sense if the maps were much much larger. Give it a new ability to call in air strikes or smoke screen like in Front line
I think the 3 crew skill overloaded commander is just to make you sync with the hitherto unmasked crew of the new British line: simply put- it's obligating you to train up a new crew across the new line. That's all

you forgot about obj. 416 when talking about cammo, I have more than 50% on mine without cammo equipment.
When it is stationary..can it turn on the spot faster then when driving?.
i'd like to think this tank has similar playstyle to stg or guard where you are a support tank. good gun, relatively high alpha damage, not so good DPM. the only difference is the platform and the mobility
What are you even talking about? The STG is shit, but at least it has some turret armour. You will get penned in this POS when somebody gives you a dirty look.

This is a fast moving vehicle, with accurate hard hitting, fast reacting gun.
Playstyle is to hunt for opportunities.
Without skill and game knowledge, its limited, otherwise its a very nice addition, completing a missing gameplay style.

My recommendation is to use turbo, vents and rotation mechanicsm. The vents for overall improvement, turbo for increased speed and rotation mechanicsm for improved traverse speed.
New English CDC... Paper tank relatively maneuverable and decent gun handling... With a 9 skill crew..... and bounty equipment..... good vid skill...
Hey Skill, what about an improved rotation mechanism on this tank? I never seen you use it, but i quite like that equipment piece. It makes a tank more nimble and its half of a stabilizer, so it helps tanks in 2 ways
Yeah I like that equipment too but it's wasted on this tank I think because it does not need stabilisation so you're using an equipment slot just for a bit better turning. This equipment is more for tank destroyers and certain mediums which need the stabilisation.
This tank gun handling is like Leo, so you don't need any kind of stabilizer.
Although after the next update, the crew won't be a problem because you can no longer switch crews between tanks.

I've seen the credit income of premium tanks drop over the years. Lorraine, Lowe, super pershing etc still make far more credits compared the newer premiums like 122TM etc
Good, now I'm sure we will have French AMX10 RC. This tank is balanced and we will have next step in WOT sooner or later with lots of wheeled vehicules.

Thanks for the first impression and the quick overview. I feel like this tank is, what the AMX CDC should be, a fast and mobile support tank, that can annoy the hell out of the enemies. I would be really interested in the repairing process of the wheel. Does it work like the EBRs, or do you come to a standstill after losing one wheel? Do the wheels eat every shot they get hit with, or is there a chance to pen the hull? On tanksGG it looks like, the wheels cover a tiny touch less of the hull, compared to the EBRs, so maybe there will be mire shots flying under the tank. We'll see.

You get very slow when wheel gets hit. It takes 19 second for my crew (no repairs) to repair it.
This is big sacrifice of armor and speed for gun handling in my opinion
Bourrasque was said to be bad when it was first released because of the two shells autoloader, bad gun handling and poor turning.
Today we know that it is probably the best premium medium tank in the game, having a damage potential of a tier IX.
I think this tank will have to be played like a Leopard, but it will perform better than expected.
Mobility wise this looks not that far off from Char Futur, but Char has autoloader, better camo, smaller profile, way faster shell velocity, higher alpha

weapon handling looks really good and the mobility too. I think this will be a fun line
I'd play this in frontlines....perfect compliment when ebr 75 gets locked for a few minutes

This might be the most accurate tank review that ive ever seen, not compared to the French wheelies. Also i also compared it more to a very mobile sniper shnitzel. I have this tank and oh boy its awesome i don't regret buying it
Agreed VaLun. I wasn’t going to buy the tank but then felt the urge a couple days ago and just went ahead and bought it. It pleasantly surprised me. An outstanding gun (you’ll be tempted to fire premium), with super reverse speed that is helpful during engagements. I think its a tank for more experienced players though who can make full use of the gun and stay alive too.

Thinking about it the best tank to compare this to would be the scorpion G, wouldnt it?
- accurate
- camo meh
- 60kmh top speed
- turns slow
- same reload time (but different alpha of course)
- very low HP
- no armor what so ever
The fact that you have great alpha on the scorpion makes a huge difference though. Trading is a bit more valuable and peak-a-boo tactics are more effective. Also, way better penetration
@@phipschi4255 Yeah exactly. The scorpion has all the bad things including the huge profile. Everything is pretty much the same accept better alpha, pen and +1000 damage per minute.

Looks like a proper, non-broken sniper...With good accuracy and decent alpha. Nice job to WG! Seems like the T6 T20 playstyle, at higher tier, with much better accuracy and alpha.
I think it's good, not OP though. Probably will give it 4/5 for 2 things, speed and godlike gun handling.
I probably would go with vents, rammer and irm, it's gun doesn't need anything else tbh

Tier 8 mediums: we used to do 240 damage with 11 sec reload, now we do 360dmg with 9 sec reload.

I've played roughly 8k games. I have never seen as many tanks driving out into the open field as I see in most of the CCs games. I play on NA server, maybe our "smart" players hide in the back instead.

As I see, this is a better Chimera and the Chimera was already one of my favorite tier 8 meds because of the huge alpha. (Yes, Chimera has some turret armor, but this one aims way quicker, its dpm is better, and the tank is also quicker...)
This will surely not be a great tank in the hands of someone unexperienced, but at the same time pro players are going to rule with this.
Cobra has the same crew setup.

I think to be honest, turbo, exhaust and rammer for this kinda of tanks VIII+ is a better choice in my opinion. Similar playstyle like the leopard pta and leopard 1, although with better acceleration and the ability to not get tracked. Overall nerf version of leopard 1 line.

Lovely tank, able to take position fast, snipe from back or chase down enemies. The gun is so good. Having a blast playing with it.
Still mixed feelings about it, but if you have Cobra in your garage you can use that crew for it.

if this tank needs its own crew and is average in almost every aspect, then what is the reason to buy it, instead of, say, a Skorpion, which also has paper armor but a much better gun (the gun is the only aspect that stands out a bit on GSOR)
With this tank you need to avoid BZ, cobra and FV of course
