Got mine sep 4th, still building, progress up to bag 9.. its enormous! Waited for a model like this since I was a kid, now as an aeronautics engineer, can recall how i began to love airplanes.
Thanks for the review. Especially comparison to other models. I can read and I know what are the measures on paper, but it's always works better to see thing compared to othere models in collection. Now I'm 100% sure I don't have such space in my Lego room 😅
17:16 I will hazard a guess that plates are used instead of tiles because if you look at the real plane, there are a series of circles that go down the wing in pairs
Normally I would never buy two of the same Lego set. But I just couldn’t resist it. I saw this gorgeous Concorde sitting at Heathrow airport while sitting inside an Airbus A320 Neo to Copenhagen. Love at first sight and fortunately I my gaming desk is big enough to have of the models. Perfect for when I fly the Concorde in my flight sim. 🥰🤗😎👍🏽💪🏽
Um I wouldn’t put this set next to a window cause it’s almost all white pieces & sunlight is known to damage Lego white pieces turning them into a nasty yellow color
Looking forward to getting one down the line although i do wish they'd used one of the other pre production liveries that has British Airway's livery on one side and Air France's on the other to make it look incredible (Have seen that one in person and looks amazing) Otherwise a note on the large aircraft mentioned in Impressions, the 2012 Camel is a re release of a 2001 set that came out alongside a Fokker Triplane in 2002 in the colours of the Red Baron, and named by lego as Red Baron
Pursuing a career in the aerospace industry and taking a liking to brick build stuff I already considered buying the Concorde. But the review sold me on it.
Great review. You are spot on with the variability of the white bricks. Am up to bag 4 and it's already noticeable. The very long pieces seem whiter than the shorter pieces 😞 seems very odd they can't make them the same!
The new slope piece looks super useful for certain models Oo Sometime last year I had a dream about them releasing wedge plates without studs on top. Then I woke up. I am still pissed about it UCS Venator review? ;)
While I do love the end result, I wish it included less new pieces. Some like the dual-molded canopy are fantastic, but others like the curved body section seem a bit wasteful.
I'm building my Lion Knight Castle that will be lovely looking alongside MOC'ed 31120 to medieval village and my wife already kicked me out with it from the cabinet under the TV:D. For now I'm using my son's room for display but nevertheless other technic sets are dissassembled in the boxes simply because lack of space. I wouldn't fathom were would I put such a monstrous set like this concorde. Although it looks lovely.
Brand new set already has problems with yellowing of white pieces. Imagine how ugly it will look 5 years from now. I suggest to avoid white colored Lego pieces at all costs.
Been waiting for your take on this kit for a while. One of the few channels I trust to actually review these things.

the concord is one of the most iconic airplanes of all time i'm glad lego is making this set to memorialize it
« The Concorde featured a droop snoot.
-A droop snoot ?
-Yeah, the snoot would droop.
-The snoot drooped. »
the "ailerons and flaps" on the wing are actually "elevons" - they provide both pitch and roll control since there's no tail
Hopefully Lego sees the success this has and decides to make more aircraft sets like this!
I love your nicely structured review! U make the best Lego set reviews on yt in my opinion. I think I'll have to pick this up!

You don't put this model in your LEGO room, you build your LEGO room around this model ;)
I mean this would look absolutely sick suspended from the ceiling😂
@@bas8732bottom isnt as appealing tho, gear are out in the open sadly
@@blu5021 if you're hanging it up long term you could remove the wheels and build cowlings to smooth it
Looks awesome! I can't wait to display it and watch the pieces yellow.
That will fix the variations on the white coloring. My Discovery is showing signs of yellowing.
Thanks. And again, excellent photography and review.
Thanks again!
@@searme I would give it a 10 but minus 1, though for missing the mouse. I have to admit I missed him.
It's a hamster and you're getting 4 doggies here instead.

Just wanna say hi to the YT algoritm and thumbs up. Great and honest review all the way. Thank you. 👌🙏👍👍
Got her proudly on display with my other concorde models
Its huge

Great job !!!
17:23 I think part of the reason they choose to go with the 2x8 plates is for the orange supports. Great review anyways.
This looks like the PERFECT set to display prominently in front of a giant bay window facing the sun :)

@@sharkclubpenguin3000 That's the joke!
This appears to be a system set, but its a technic set at heart.
My feelings exactly. Sneaky Technic! ;)
Hi sariel! I bought this set because of your review it helped a lot !
Hope you enjoy it!
Already love it !
I was thinking that it would’ve been a bad value set seeing the price, but being that massive it makes more sense
I got this recently and god its massive
I haven't bought Lego sets in a loong while and this is starting to seem like a worthy buy.
Great review I thought you took long enough but now to you have me semi undecided. I went from sure to probably, but as always THANKS
Just finished mine an hour ago. I cannot believe how big it is

What's the deal with the extra orange pieces. That seems to be a lot of extras. Is there a reason for them?
They are needed to support some structure temporarily during building, as explained in the video.
@@searme thanks I missed that part.
Thanks for your review Sariel! Seems to me like it compares somehow to the Saturn V, with its interesting building techniques and massive size.
Nice review! Can you please name the music you used onto the speed build part of the video? I love your videos and watched them multiple times!
Thanks, that song is called "Coming Home To You" and comes from SmartSound audio library.
@@searme Thanks! This helps me a lot!
can it also suck up some runway debris?
Only if it falls off another plane set
I like how for the functions, you simply stated “the droop snoot.” It needs no introduction or explanation
Can anyone help me with the exact box dimensions? Need to know if I can fit it in my suitcase xp
Pros: It’s Massive
Cons: Its Massive
The new slope piece looks super useful for certain models Oo
Sometime last year I had a dream about them releasing wedge plates without studs on top. Then I woke up. I am still pissed about it
UCS Venator review? ;)
I don't know if I'll be getting the Venator.
Bro try to review the Lego UCS VENATOR 75367
If I can get one, I'll try.
@@searme I think this set isn't as impressive and won't sell well like UCS Star Destroyer, That's why Lego try to give review unit as much as possible
While I do love the end result, I wish it included less new pieces. Some like the dual-molded canopy are fantastic, but others like the curved body section seem a bit wasteful.
The curved fuselage pieces are adapted from LEGO Trains, actually.
oh the memes for new trans-black :D
I'm afraid future Technic sets are going to be bigger.
Still figuring out a way to store these monstrosities? ;-)

Piękny!
I think value for money is 5 stars, you can't get sets this big, and with this piece count, for this price anymore.
I don't think that size is all that matters.
let me do it for you
"lego can't keep white consistent"... Do we need to talk about the Sian's green again ?
Trans Black looks so much better than Trans Brown.
Bought it right away for my son, he loves everything from Lego, he built the Eiffel Tower with 13 and the Titanic with 12 without help.
The Concorde are so sexy they had to rate it 18+ lol.
Shoot 200$ for that beast...finally lego is making affordable sets?
Brand new set already has problems with yellowing of white pieces. Imagine how ugly it will look 5 years from now. I suggest to avoid white colored Lego pieces at all costs.
Looks more like a Tu-144 than Concorde.
