@@airstreamer lol…..it reminded me of the one we went on in Queensland, Australia, on our way up into the rainforest!!! It would rock a little every time we approached one of those towers! Looking down and seeing the tips of huge pine trees, I thought, “this may have been a mistake “!! But it was SO worth it when we got there-especially when I got to hold a koala bear!!! ❤️. P.S., we took the option of the train back down!! 🤣

We've been to Pipestem more times than I can count. Went there on our honeymoon in 1978 and have been going there ever since. We love it.

I like that you took the tiome to check mobile signal and water pressure etc. I never thought to do that in a video. The places I am accustomed to staying are camping with little to no amenities

The fall colors are incredibly gorgeous. The swings looked fun. Kind of interesting there was two identical swings in different places. Nice video.
There are numerous swings exactly like that across the state.
Yes, we hit it at peak season. Because "Almost Heaven" is West Virginia state slogan, they have these all over the state. I didn't want to swing with Jim on the one we were together because right behind it was a cliff! lol. I'm not good with heights. Thank you for watching!

Wow thanks for sharing I really enjoyed all the versions of the John Denver classic it was very nice. Virginia looks a lot like the PNW in the fall looking forward to visiting one day. Oh Michelle not sure if you have seen many of our videos but I am very horrible at heights having this channel has helped me try to face my fears a bit more I try anyway and Ron has to edit what I say for sure. You did good. Oh loved the Mill photos they were fantastic we visited one just like that in our Woodland video it was something we fell into and it was beautiful just like that. The one in Hawaii you were in a helicopter, I was so impressed, because I don't think I could do that! My first thought when seeing the tram though was it needed to be updated...glad you both survived! That cell phone speed test was not surprising, the whole state is an absolute dead zone 😂 Thanks for a beautiful look back at an amazing fall here in Almost Heaven! Hope you both are doing well!
We were so excited to be in that area during peak colors. The best part was meeting you and JoAnna! :) Yes, the tram is definitely in need of an update. I'm glad we survived too! lol. Jim is working on the mill video for his photography channel. Hopefully that will drop in the next couple of day. Take care!
@@airstreamer if Ya'll ever find yourselves back in Albuquerque on your travels, ride the tram to the top of the mountain there. Far better condition and the views are spectacular, plus a restaurant at the top!

West Virginia is gorgeous! We want to go there to film a video to the song Take Me Home Country Roads (we sometimes do lip syncing videos 😆) set to beautiful scenery so we definitely need to be in West Virginia to do this. Someday! We hope to retire and sell our home in about 3 years and travel the country full-time in a camper. You guys are doing it right and living the dream! Michelle, if you're afraid of heights, you'd really not like Angels Landing in Zion. We just hiked it last July, and it was crazy! 😊 Thanks for taking us along on this fun video. ❤

We just found your channel. My wife and I are ready to get back to traveling in a travel trailer, it's interesting that our plan is to order a Airstream 28rb this spring apparently same floorplan as yours, although we have a son in freshman year of highschool, we hope to make some more family memorie with our long summer road trips before he's an adult.
