Wow nice
Now that looks a lovely place to just have a wonder around for a few hours.......
Yes indeed. It's a nice place and Sundays upload is 2 miles away from here so you can visit both in quick time!
Really neat to see that the shoreline area is all made up on stones. Liked the giant scallop artwork. The South lookout was neat looking too.
Hey, yes this place is a very interesting place to visit thats for sure! The towers are very cool to see still intact!
Nice walking tour, thank you for having me along 😊
Thanks my friend! Was lovely place to walk!
Thank you so much for showing us this lovely place. The beach was great and the town was so quaint. We loved the painted buildings. That shell tribute to Benjamin Britten was amazing. Looks a great area to explore. Hope you have a great weekend. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
Glad you enjoyed it and yes I agree the shell tribute was lovely indeed! 😍 it's a nice town to have a wonder around, that's for sure!
Those chips looked pretty good. That was a very nice town and thanks for the tour mate.😊
They were very good, mate! 👍 weird to get them in a bag though. 😆
I had been meaning to watch this, but have been so busy lately. Love the history, thanks Lee 😊
No worried Joe. I know you are a busy man 😃
I lived at Aldringham House for several years, between Leiston and Aldeburgh. Quite a surprise to see this. There were many US Air Force members there. I was pretty good friends with old Ron, at the White Horse Inn, right on Main Street (in Leiston), and went to the pottery shop close by as well. I golfed MANY times at the local Aldeburgh course..but their member were far too stuffy and stuck up to allow me to become a member. This was 47 years ago, when my wife and I were newlywed, and newly assigned to RAF Woodbridge and Bentwaters. I was there for the UFO incident at Her Majesty's Rendleshem Forest, in 1980, as well. Good stuff!
HibDennis, was that golf course, the one in Thorpeness? Sounds like my local course where they dont like you unless you are a fully paid up member, lol 😆 I imagine you have some very fond memories of the place and also have seen lots of changes over the years! Thanks for the information. Loved walking around this town!
@@RaymondoLeeTravel - Their first question to me was "what is your rank?" Apparently, not high enough! Doesn't matter that I held a six handicap, and was likely better than all but a few of their members!
The name of the place rings a bell of somewhere I have been.. but having watched you video, I don't think we have been there. I think i must be confusing it with the name of a place in Gloucestershire. The stones table looks a great idea for the kids.
Yes the stone table idea was to get people to write something on the stone and place in a line to the beach in support of Ukraine
