Love your videos. Very informative since there are so many mattresses to choose from. Ordering on line can be very daunting with so many to choose from. I have a Linespa twin mattress that I use on my daybed and love the feel as I have slept on it as well. Thumbs up for these vidoes. They are very helpful!

I love Amazon!! I actually bought 2 of my kids mattresses and my last mattress from Amazon! The kids are going on a year with theirs (they were under $100 and they seem happy with them) Almost exactly 4 yrs ago Hubby and I purchased a Queen size Zinus 12" Green Tea memory foam mattress from Amazon for just under $300-it had pretty great reviews (thousands upon thousands of them) Less than 2 yrs in it started sagging in the middle and the past 2 yrs we wake up in pain daily. So I'd say no we don't like shopping mattresses on Amazon (but I used to)

Like most, I do a lot of shopping on Amazon. Never considered shopping for a mattress there but with what you've listed and the prices I would, provided the return policy wasn't crazy difficult. Awesome video.

I would prefer to shop in person and feel the mattress before buying but you guys have such great videos that I would trust your review of these beds! Out of this list, I would pick the Nod hybrid !
I like these reviews because these give me more affordable beds. Most of the comparison reviews online, only review the more expensive options, but its good to know there are more affordable options out there.
I’ve have done, when I first got to this country I got an T&N original and I had no problems of buying it from Amazon, but I would buy it on the brands own website because there are more options availability!

Hey there The Slumber Yard, I love Amazon and I shop there all the time when I need things relatively fast and can’t make it into the store. I’ve never bought a mattress on Amazon. The prices seem great. Although, I’m hesitant about what a return would look like😬 But this definitely would be a great option for a guest room.

I actually bought a Lucid memory foam mattress for our camper in 2019 from.... Amazon! I don't know if it's my preferred shopping spot, but they should know their way to my house without GPS. (js) ;)
I do a lot of shopping on Amazon but I’m just trying to figure out how I am going to drag a king size mattress into Kohls to return it 🤷♂️
I was worried about that as well so I called amazon an asked , ended up getting several different awncers till I finally got to the returns department ( apperently they only let that happen if you made a mistake an returned wrong item ?) I was finally told that if you are unhappy with your mattress either they will just issue you a refund and you figure out what you want to do with it or they will send a professional company who picks up mattresses and large items . Also was given some advice saying if you express to Amazon customer service that you physically cannot move the mattress you have back issues ETC chances are they'll just give you a refund. However before I got to this department I spoke with several regular employees and a supervisor all of which had something different to say including that they do not do returns on mattresses because of covid so they'll just issue a refund so if you call and they try to tell you something different ask for the returns department but I doubt it would even come to that . Also depending on the seller whom you buy from some of the mattress companies policies are if you don't like the mattress they have their own company who will come and pick it up and donate to a donation center but again due to covid I don't think that's happening right now so it's probably the best time to try I just received my mattress today I will update you if I end up returning it and let you know what really happens!!

Amazon is notorious for just giving refunds and letting you donate or dispose of the unwanted item so like most companies they would just do the donate especially being a mattress that can’t be resold anyways - except maybe by a reseller... on Amazon 🤔. 😂😂😂

I have never shopped for a mattress on Amazon before, but why not? I shop for pretty much everything else on Amazon. They have such incredible strength in the industry, and as a Prime member, I think i would feel comfortable buying a mattress on amazon, but I also have to think that a lot of these independent mattress companies that sell directly to consumers would want to keep their shipping and selling on their own, so as not to lose any profit to big sellers.

Giveaway: I do like the easy shipping and returns Amazon offers, which makes it easier since I know they are reliable. Though at the same time I'm not sure if I'd necessarily order a mattress from there. I think if I do get one it will be a mattress that I'd put in my guest room. I've heard Tuft & Needle is pretty good, so maybe I'd buy that from Amazon. But overall, I'd prefer to buy directly from the mattress website for quality and assurance purposes.

Honestly I view Amazon as selling everything anyone could ever imagine and priced at all ranges of prices. But to get a truly nice bed, I wouldn’t buy a bed from Amazon bc there’s no true quality.

I know Classic Brands manufactures Nectar and maybe others. But I can’t find a good review on the Classic Brands beds. I wonder if they are the same? It kind of looks like Nectar just slaps a cover on a Classic Brands mattress to be honest.

I absolutely would go with a hybrid mattress in medium firm but id want to feel the bed prior to ordering on line. As this is a larger purchase and again, subjective to those who want specific firmness, I would prefer not getting on Amazon
Can you review classic brands cool gel mattress?
I prefer shopping for mattress on the manufacturer's direct website, if the price is the same, or lower than Amazon. It seems as if having Amazon as a middle man might make returns more difficult, and seems I read something once saying the sleep trial time periods for a lot of the premium mattresses might be more clear cut if you buy direct from the manufacturer. But I would of course read the Amazon reviews, even if I didn't buy off their site.

Yes but memory foam long term use after a year or so becomes flattened in pressure areas.
The only problem how would we return them?
Trying to find best bed for chronic pain from spinal stenosis 2 herniated discs scoliosis and arthritis and sacroiliitus ..my si joint and bursitis if right hip so hip pain too and over weight. I weight 260. I also have lupus. I can't get much exercise as I cant walk but a few steps and have to use a walker and can't even stand up long enough finish shower before it have to sit down due to pain even with pain meds. Being sent to a surgeon as my back has me completely crippled.

I was looking at the Lucid mattress mentioned; some reviewers said there is fibreglass in it. Is there any truth to that?

As others have commented, I would shop for a mattress on Amazon if the return policies (i.e. 100 days/free/etc.) are the same as shopping directly with the mattress company.
I didn't mind shopping for a mattress on Amazon.... the seller (Zinus) had great customer service.

Giveaway: I don't mind shopping on Amazon for a mattress but slightly prefer to get one directly from the facility itself because I think they might handle the mattress a little better. Since Amazon has so many items, the warehouse might not be as optimal for mattresses.
