Dylan Maurits better pop on the tail, and more control with the nose, especially for flip tricks, the concave is different near the nose leading to better drag and higher tricks, I use both sides tho lol
REAL Twin Tail boards, man. They're usually in odd sizes like 8.18 (Deluxe Dist. is the only company I have seen ever consistently make 8.18s) or 8.38 (not a strange size by any means).
Fun fact: George Daher is known as the first dude to focus a board on camera (and maybe the first to focus a board ever), a clip that appears in the credits of Rubbish Heap (1989). Pros at the time we’re extremely stoked on it, as was Steve Rocco. Focusing your board + necessity for a board = increased board sales 📈📈📈
I love setting my board up. And yea I hate when the bolts blow threw the deck. But I take my time doing it and whenever I have somebody set it up for me I still have to spend time messing with it making adjustments and changes with the kingpin and the play on the wheels . Also I absolutely can not stand a messed up grip job
Anyone know where the term came from? Haven't heard a skater be like wtf is focused? But it's not something I would say, I'd just say "broke a board on purpose", long I know
*me when i focus a board*: «i will never financially recover from this»
God it feels so good to focus a board but goddammit that was a 60 dollar meltdown lol
M0thaphucka LMAOOOO dude that’s why I started getting blanks and clearance boards just on the off chance I snap xD
@humbertovargas1211 you just proved you obviously haven’t been close to being a real skateboarder ever.
Only flipped out and focused 2 boards, each time I did it, I instantly regretted it.
You instantly regret, but it seems like good business on his end to sort of promote it...
Symmetrical boards are the shit and I wish they were more common. I think they will be one day.
I'm a beginner, I still don't know why the nose is different on a deck.

Ehhh, I do some tricks off the nose and some off the tail so skating a symmetrical board would ruin a ton of tricks for me
Certain switch tricks off the nose IMO just work better. Don’t really know how to explain it tho
Symmetrical board, neat.

I rode one of ishods one time. Best shape I ever skated lol
Ishod talking about breaking boards motivates me to skate
DownforceInc ishod talking motivates me to skate
Never really heard ishod talk much he's more of an enigma, definitely gotta watch the full episode
Just waiting on the new Experience episode to drop, why not have another laugh. Ishod is classic.
Thanks!!
this was a really good trick tip on how to break boards

Dan Corrigan takes it to the next level the man out here focusing shirts 😂
That public enemy beanie on the spitfire logo is 🔥 bro i need that in a 2xl or 3xl where they at ?
One foot focus all day
I WANT A NEW ISHOD PART!
Give the kid your board, and focus his potato chip board. Everybody wins.
Anyone know where the term came from? Haven't heard a skater be like wtf is focused? But it's not something I would say, I'd just say "broke a board on purpose", long I know
Have never focused a board, always just give em to the nearest kid that heard me swearing at my feet.
What does sunk the bolts mean
Swap your board and focus the kids' trash boards
Now I want to break my board
That's so epic. Gotta let it out, yaknow
I focus boards when they're so razored i'm done with it
To this day i still want to do a Weck-style board chop just for the hell of it
just fuckin put your anger into the trick you're tryin
did an oillie , snapped the tail ,off ,my jeff kenDALL
The board is usually worthless at this point from chips, razor tail and old grip tape
I'm the 1100th like
never broke a board
That’s sad...
I don't focus I throw it as hard as I can. Might chip it. It's better cuz you get out the anger out and it's still skate able.
Don’t need your help with this one.
I’ve been skating for 13 years and I have no idea what “focusing your board” is. Someone explain?
When you purposely snap a board
Lil d productions ..... ok thanks!
You don't
No way ishod can't snap the middle of the board. I'm only 14 and 130 pounds and i stomp through all my boards in one stomp😂
aidenshawsucks gosh, you're so cool!
Maybe you don't skate REAL
From personal experience I couldn’t focus my real board in the middle either that’s why they’re the only boards I skate now
Because you dont skate Real
Johnny Jouha oh wow I just saw that I commented this two years ago haha that’s pretty cringe worth
