4:50 hahaha the BART! I was in SFO for my internship at Twitch back in summer of 2022. Man! I mean, to be honest, it was better than my home state's NJ Transit or even the PATH in NYC metro area. I would get on 16th and Mission and zoom in and out of the Finical District pretty fast. Oh man I low key miss SFO. Missing lands end too!
I freelance, which has given me a lot more agency than full-time work. The hours used to be much longer, but I’ve finally been able to find balance the past few years. Probably won’t ever have a 9-5 again. Great video Louis!
Hopefully you do start more businesses so you can see how much risk it takes. Then for some employee to think that they should be owed everything just because they did part of the "labor" when they never created their own business, raise the capital and see how so many businesses fail their first few years. For many entrepreneurs, they keep their 9-5 for stable income while working on their side business on nights & weekends. Many times you don't even have to be the first 100 to think of the idea but to put into motion and set it up for success is key. I'm kind of in a similar place, not really wanting to do a 9-5 the rest of my life. I would rather move to South East Asia where cost of living is great and hoping to find a remote job for stable income (I had a remote job for 2 years but left). Now I'm working on site for the time being. But I have product ideas but getting it to scale is difficult.
