she was pissed at mark for not helping at the soup kitchen and shit, so he revealed he was invincible and he saves the world constantly, and she says she knew? like, you knew he's saved the literal planet multiple times and he's constantly getting mortally wounded, and you don't care? you're angry he didn't serve soup when he was off stopping the apocalypse? she's just toxic
@@hunt1ngh0und I'd be upset if someone kept lying to me for the entire course of our relationship. it wasn't about the soup. it was about him constantly flaking on her, constantly lying (and very poorly) to her, etc. Eve pointed out that he shouldn't have done that for as long as he did. put yourself in her position. your S.O. is contantly making plans and not showing up. they're lying constantly about why - and you ain't stupid. you know what they're doing. and if i'm not mistaken, the first time he nearly died, it was not to save countless lives, but to help one person. he then managed to get others roped in and nearly killed as well. She may not have handled it well, but to put all onis on her and none of her bf is not the correct play
@@eattherich5409 you do know what a secret identity is, right? where you don't reveal that you're a superhero to anybody you don't completely trust because then your true identity could be leaked and supervillains could go after your loved ones? that's why he was lying. he was lying poorly because he felt bad and didn't know how to lie properly. he wasn't being a jerk, he's just an inexperienced teenager trying to protect the people he loves from harm
