    The mesa ripple rec also has a really sweet clean tone if anyone's curious. And u can stack a marshall on it and use marshalls reverb. Its cool stuff.
    Neural d so sounds better out of the box but u can make amplitube sound amazing too

    I agree this is THE BEST amplitube compared to any previous amplitube. Problem is Neural and ML Sound make better sounding amp sim. IMO, company like IK multimedia or positive grid need to reduce the number of amp sim in their product and focus more on sound quality of each amp.

      @@465marko Audio Assault ReAmp is pretty good and was on sale for $20 from $120. Not sure if it still is tho. Have to really tweak to get a good tone but that’s with all of these kind of low grade amp sims. If you want something amazing get STL ToneHub or AmpHub

      @@MetalheadOv666 Thanks man. I actually ended up just diving in with Amp 5 - bit of an impulse buy, tbh lol. A self-christmas present.
      But I get the impression the STL stuff is really good, so I might end up trying it at some stage. Audio Assault looks good too actually, maybe more for hi-gain stuff (?) - there's so many of these things that's half the problem....
      I'm pretty happy with AT5 for the moment though, definite step up for where I'm at and I'm finding it very, very useable so far. I'm more into crunchy tones, don't do much hi gain stuff. Option paralysis is the only problem. So far, I've just been tinkering with tones rather than actually creating anything lol

    It's hard to take a review serious these days.
    It all feels more like a commercial than a review.
    No criticism, no negative points, no improvement suggestions whatsoever.
    It's no secret that companies pay bigger youtuber for a "good" review.
    Sure you have your own opinion but if the company does not vibe with that and doesn't approve the "review" than you simply not get paid.
    That's how it is.
    I mean how could someone not mention the fizzy high end that always been a problem of Amplitube and still is?
    Seriously. I still like you, fluff
    Cheers :D

    • @Artec619
      @Artec619 3 года назад

      It's 2021, the difference between a review and a demo should be pretty obvious by now. This is a demo, not a review. A review would include positive and negative aspects and then a conclusion. This is just showing things you can do with the plugin and showcasing sounds. Plus, that issue with the high end you mention has not been hidden or post-processed out of the sound, so you are perfectly able to decide for yourself whether the product is worth it or not. I don't think there's anything to criticize in that respect.

    • @SickAzzTonez
      @SickAzzTonez 3 года назад +5

      @@Artec619 Call it demo, call it review. In any way you showcase things, say something like "I think this is really cool" or "This is why it is that awesome" so you give an opinion about that thing without mentioning the obviously bad things. So probably a lot of not so experienced viewers that might not notice this will purchase it and regret it at a later point. That is my point.

    • @Artec619
      @Artec619 3 года назад

      @@SickAzzTonez No, that's the point of it being a Demo, the "bad points" are not talked about, you do a demo of features and what a product offers. It's a fundamentally different thing to a review, even if in youtube there are people that do both and/or use the incorrect term for their own videos. If you get paid to do a demo and bash the product you probably won't get very far. If you get paid to do a review you may be able to discuss the terms of it and it will be up to you whether the money biases your opinion or not. Again, Fluff is not doing anything shady or trying to trick you here.

    • @SickAzzTonez
      @SickAzzTonez 3 года назад +2

      @@Artec619 It simply doesn't matter how you call it or how it "suppose to be" done. IMO as soon as you giving your opinion on a product that might push people towards spending their hard earned money on it by calling it great you should mention the flaws as well so people are aware. Of course you won't get really far in the Industrie because companies won't like you to show what's wrong with their products in front of a ton of people but that is not the thing. But this is just my point of view and everybody is entitled to their own opinion. Cheers!

    Hey man, how much does that Armada weigh? It looks pretty light considering the way you lifted it, unless you’re super strong. I’m looking for a lighter electric because I’m super weak due to a MC accident.

    Which is your favourite out of Amplitube 5 and STL plug-ins?

    Yeah this version looks incredible, but I find there are TOO many options now. great to dick around, but I love being able to pull up a plugin and get a great tone and get to writing, too much tweaking and my day is gone. these tools are always amazing tools for getting creative FX ideas though.

      trial some amps and come up with your favourites; save them as your go to tones. How hard is that.

    How does yours sound so good before a mix? Mine sounds like trash. Is it my Scarlett solo?

    Are there any apps (or even this one) that can do heavy distortion and ambient sounds? Not so much new age, but noise rock. And please, no flange for the all that's holy.

    Definitely comparable to other plug ins these days. I remember when 3 came out and it was cool, but not quite as solid as the other options at the time like Pod Farm, Bias and JamUp. But this is super cool for sure. Lots of options.

    Why does my amplitude 5 sound dry, muddy, no gain?

  • @SDRockman

    When I go to record Amplitube in OBS, it just records it as a direct signal coming from my bass without any processing.
    What am I doing wrong?

      @@tuckerdawson Best way is to try for yourself. Everyone has their own opinion of what they like and what works for them. Demos are good for understanding what options are out there but in the end you have to decide for yourself.

    I know you probably won’t read this Fluff, but how are you getting such a clean signal? You’re not running a noise suppressor and I get a ridiculous hum and buzz from anything remotely gainy out of this software.
