@@phildawe7172 oyeah. Both are done. Have had them out about 5 times. Getting the pop off pressure right in the carburetors was a learning curve. They are the first skis ive ever owned. I will say they get boring pretty quick in the sense that they're only good for one thing and that is going fast.
@@libertyforamericanow haha. great. yeah the pop off pressure is a weird science. needs appropriate restriction in the return fuel rails to open up each carb. I did the 'recipe' of larger needle and seats, high and low jetts to bring the pop off down to 30~40psi. and to make sure it wasn't running to lean particularly in the back cylinder (common problem) also disconnected the accelerator pump as it was causing a bogging down on quick throttle ups you are very right.. they don't enjoy idling or chugging along hey. these things only know how to do one thing...go hard and burn fuel and oil 🤣🥲👍 the thing scares me sometimes 🤪
Depending of how much more money you need to spend to leave it at a 100% I sold mine for $2500 a year ago running good 4 year ago i did a complete rebuild
I just picked up this exact ski for $6 bills W/trailer..Low hours & comes with a brand new starter that the owner thought was to much work to do before he moves from Wa to FL. Anything I should check while I've got the exhaust off replacing the starter?
Good just check your spark plug regularly to see if is getting enough oil on the engine speed depending on conditions itip it once 61mph But will go easy 50mph
@@icool247 its a very good pwc it goes fast and it can last if u take care of it we got one because someguy dropped it off his truck and still are having no problems with it i recommend to get one but always do ur research on them trust me
Any ideas why my 03 Gp800r boys down after 15 minutes in the water.? Staying like that for the rest of the day. Next day will give me another 15 minutes of fun until the the problem. Carb was rebuilt , also it's running just a little hotter then normal , not much but definitely hotter. Hey thanks for any comments that will lead to the solution
@@Caaracu I'm having the same issue right now. Let me know if you found the issue. I took it to a mechanic and he said that its my reed valves. 100 dollar part. Maybe before I buy the part you may have found the solution. Thanks!

We just got one it does not have reverse because it's made for performance but mine with 300 pounds still goes 55
