To be played in the upper half (UH). Make a distinction between the "martele" stroke and the "detache" stroke in the first two measures, as well as the "dolce" section on the third line. Some new notations in the piece, including the "fermata" as well as the "ritardando."
Teach how to lift and CUE out of the fermata into m. 13.
