Having 3 SCX24 models, all heavily upgraded and modded, the frame rails are about the only stock part left on both my Gladiator and Bronco and also now at almost quadruple their stock weight now while the Ax24 has several upgrades. I've been looking into these TRX4m and they just drew me in when I first heard about/saw them, particularly the Defender, and I think this video is going to make me get one before too long lol. The scale and capability out the box is just insane...I would imagine there will be a learning curve since the whole model is a very different platform than Axial, but before I go head first though, I appreciate watching these videos in the mean time lol, thanks for sharing! :D
The tires on the Bronco are better then on the Defender...what sold me on the TRX4M was the slow crawl gearset. The TRX4M crawls better then the Furitek...
No comparison! The scx24 bronco is rough driving without a fair bit of money invested. I love the scx24 platform but if you don’t mind it being a tad bigger, the Traxxas is way better out of the box and for another $65 becomes pretty amazing. Thanks for hanging bro! Hope you have a great one.

Nice bro I got the gray defender loving it so far done some mods and moved some stuff around widened it’s stance also got some reversed rc4wd stamped bead locks on trail kings pretty awesome rig got some scale accessories on it to got to have those on a defender 🔥🔥🔥😎👍

The Bronco is a better rig. I have the orange Bronco and it is an amazing little crawler. Some brass, steel diff gears, aluminum bead locks and more aggressive tires. That 'slow crawl' gearset for $5 does wonders for the crawling...buying another Bronco very soon.
The crawling gears for it are only $5 or you can get a full transmission with motor for $40. On my Bronco the front tires rubbed the steering linkage. I fixed mine with some 3d printed 1.2mm hex shims
I'm jealous of everyone getting them already! Word is they're not releasing till late Jan down under 😵 Awesome to see a proper run of the defender it seems to be less prominent so far from everyone else

It’s pretty standard practice for companies like axial and Traxxas to put the crappiest servos on their RTR’s. Mine when out on the second pack. Makes the companies like hobbyplus and FMS standout, having servos that not only do well out of the box but continue to do well as you upgrade/add weight. They’re not fast but they get the job done with plenty of torque. On Traxxas and axial cars, I plan on the servo being one of the first upgrades. Sorry if you’re new to the game and didn’t know that. BTW the steering servo has plastic gearing and are really easy to strip of teeth I have had to spend 50 dollars buying a new metal geared servo
