    I wasn't able to make a stream happen for this one, not that there'd be much commentary anyway for such a stacked tourney. World Champion Magnus Carlsen (DrDrunkenstein) was the top seeded participant at the start of this tournament. Thank you for your support of this channel, and for being awesome! 😎

      ggs, that was a tough one. It would be nice to hear your live commentary though, I know it gives your opponents an advantage but its more fun to watch and listen at the same time.

    The music is cool and all but I got used to hear "hi everyone, this is Jerry", background music is not a fit replacement for your commentary Jerry, besides, you can make a drinking game of it: drink 1 shot for every "oh men", "back to tournament", "I gotta go fast", "look at this (insert piece name), where is his future", and of course, 5 shots for every "I had his queen!"

    Oh man... when you tried the fishing pole and actually won... made my day! I started laughing so much! And although there was no voice... could hear you in my soul! 😅
    Also... these super locked positions are so hard... I mean... so much calculation on bullet mode. I can imagine how stressful these are! I'm still watching, but great job so far! Seeing you and all these awesome people playing is really instructive! Thank you so much!
    Great music choice, by the way 😀

  • @edisglogic3116
    @edisglogic3116 6 лет назад

    obviously, huge edge point wise is given to just slightly better players who can maintain the steak for the longest. That kind of gives false impression between strength of the players in these tourneys. Sometimes it is just the timing of winnings and losses that puts equally performing players worlds apart. Not that i advocate different system. This one is pretty exciting.:)

    • @notexactlypaul
      @notexactlypaul 6 лет назад

      There is a slight corrective mechanism in that pairings are based on your ranking in the tournament, so as you continue your streak you are more likely to meet someone who can break it. Or, better, you are more likely to face someone who is also on a streak or has benefited from one, so one of them has to end. It's probably not a perfect system, but it's a nice balance between sorting the players correctly and making the tournament exciting to play.
