    He sounds like the Korean version of the “Nice guy”, someone who feels entitled after doing what they think is nice or romantic. 🙃🙃 We literally cannot escape men like this ANYWHERE HOLY

      I have had my fair share of "nice guys". I feel like they're worse than "fuck boys" because at least fuckboys tell you what they want, whereas there's SO much deception with NiceGuys. They act super innocent, sweet, caring to get sex and then when you don't give it to them, they call you a bitch, whore, ugly etc.

      honestly this is why i like women, i’ve been questioning for a long time if i’m bisexual or just lesbian and this video + several others validated my thinking. i think i like the idea of being in a relationship w a man, but i wouldn’t do it myself bc im way too scared of getting hurt. both nice guys and rude guys can end up deceptive and manipulating.

      @@godischungha4599 The good thing is there IS more than those two categories of men (although sometimes it feels like that's all there is..). I'm not sure your sexuality, but the fact you said you're scared means you haven't found the right guy (I feel the same way). But I'm sure we keep meeting people and eventually someone will shine :)

      @@milkbread5036 they are far worse!! They are so delusional it’s kind of scary. It’s insane to me how much media use to (and probably still does) pushed the agenda of the Nice guy deserves to have whatever they wish for after doing anything remotely kind/nice to the person their interested in, cause dudes have internalized that as what they should do to get what they want which is disgusting. I hope you find someone that cares and RESPECTS you and your boundaries 🙌🏼

      @@godischungha4599 As someone who's straight, I also am scared of dating in general, because I have encountered nice guys pretty much since elementary school all the way up to college. The important thing is to recognize any red flags or oftentimes you'll get a gut feeling that this guy isn't a good person, right when you meet them. There are definitely parts of the US with similar dating/relationship expectations (no hanging out with the opposite sex, calling to check-in etc). I think it’s kind of been looked down upon in just the last few years, but there are definitely still people who think that way.
    Also, when you talk about becoming boyfriend and girlfriend after a few dates, I think the wording you might be searching for is “dating exclusively” or in an “exclusive relationship”. That’s what we would say in the states to differentiate from going on dates with different people in the same time period.

    Hi, I have a question! I notice that when Dispatch outs a couple, the picture usually involves walking in the parking lot, going to or exiting the apartment, etc. Is casually hanging out at each other's place a strong evidence of being in a relationship especially if it is just the two of them? Thank you! Hoping you'll answer this. I love watching your vlogs 💕

    • @watchoutcrazy
      @watchoutcrazy 3 года назад +7

      Yes it is! In Korea you don't really hang out with each other in your apartments, mostly because many still live with their families, maybe not as many celebs, but I'll get to that later on.
      So people who are not living alone meet outside with their friends and for some sexy time mostly go to motels with their lovers.
      As for celebrities, they can't really hang out in public, as they'd most likely get noticed. But you'd occasionally see celeb friends from the same sex hanging out and it'd not be a big deal. However having a male and female celeb hanging out would immediately raise suspension and celebrities mostly date in either their car (dark windows) or their house, in case they're living alone.
      I hope this answers your question.🤗

      @@watchoutcrazy Thank you! I've read many international fans questioning DP's reliability by saying two people can casually hangout at each other's places with no malice. But I know Korea is still a relatively conservative country so people rarely invites a friend of the opposite sex into their place to just casually hang out especially if it is just the two of them. This is also the same in my country, it is unusual for platonic friends (man and a woman) to stay and sleepover at the other's place. This usually happens if they are already in a romantic relationship.

    I'm a gyopo. I'm in my late 30s now but when we met, we were in our early 30s. I met him online first and then later dated him in person in Daegu. My ex would always contact me when he was drinking. But what was crazy, later I found he was actually cheating LOL. He was really controlling and rude to me about everything. When we broke up, he was really nasty about it even though we broke up because he was cheating.

    In some kdramas when guys act jealous over trivial things and ask their girls why she's smiling to other boy (who's a friend) it's so cringe some people shame western movies or series for being so straight forward and not how they aren't like kdrama. But if some guy asks me why I'm smiling or talking to a guy I'm gonna break his bones... I hate these cringe bullshits. I mean in a relationship if you're obsessed and jealous all the time over little things then bitch that's not a relationship it's bullshit.

    Kelsey literally breaking and breaking Kboo thing and i love it 😂
    Below statement is where i see from google and its so creepy.
    kboo
    The word kboo is an abbreviation of the word koreaboo. A kboo is someone who's obsessed with Korea and Korean culture and wishes to be Korean. They do everything to look like they're a native korean and they act like they're fluent even tho most of the time the only words they know are annyeonghaseyo, oppa and saranghae.

After a few days, he asked me to be his girlfriend,and ofcourse i declined because im dont have any feelings for him but we still talking. And then 2 days after he said "I love you so much im so lucky youre my girlfriend" "I wanna marry you", like wtf was that? When i was your girlfriend? i had to ghost him😂

If I go out I just like to enjoy the moment and I want the same for my partner. Of course as you said... This might be cultural difference but for me it feels toxic to have the need to report to your partner who are you with and viceversa.

    Idk…if my boyfriend repeatedly told me that there were no girls around him even though i never asked nor have ever shown/expressed any insecurity of him cheating on me..him doing that all day would just make me believe that he’s lying. Because why are you telling me this? I trust you and i hope that you trust me too. I’ve never heard of Western/American men doing this but the insecurity from both genders and their partner hanging out with the opposite gender is definitely there. It’s one of the biggest debates i see all the time. It’s so silly lmao
    Also, didn’t i read somewhere that a large percentage of Korean women expect their boyfriend/husband to cheat on them at least once while they’re together (considering how common infidelity is)? I’m sorry but those women who bragged about this are most likely no longer with that partner because they must’ve turned out to be just like this guy lol it’s very weird and territorial. The men/women who do this (constant check ins)- they already know that you don’t/can’t trust them to cheat and only cheaters are understanding of this.
    A normal person would either call you out for not trusting them, break up with you…or try and talk with you on why you’re not 100% comfortable in the relationship. It could be past trauma though.

  • @libralady202
    @libralady202 2 года назад

    Just because they call doesn't mean he's doing what he says. I had a boyfriend that would leave me stranded at home & never come home. So, I moved out & left him in the apartment. Then he could pay full rent, electric, etc & not ask me for $$. What a waste of time.

    The only thing I have to say is to tell your S.O. where you are just incase you get into trouble so you can let them know. Usually you should tell your trusted family member/trusted friend where you are if you do go out. The only reason why I say this is because women typically get assaulted or kidnapped on outings. So I am afraid of going missing and if I do go missing I'll want to leave the easiest trail so I can be found. It is girl code, there have been many times where I have been followed/tracked/pursued BUT nobody would know where I went if the creep actually kidnapped me because I didn't tell someone where I was. BUT there's a point where it becomes controlling if your S.O. pressures you to tell you your location and who you're with constantly. They don't want to help you, they want to control you and make sure they have control over you knowing this info. And then they can use their insecurities to guilt trip you. The reason why people glorify boyfriends for telling their girlfriends their locations is because they think their boyfriends are doing this out of love but in reality it is performative so they can compensate for their obsessive behavior and so they can use it as an excuse and gaslight you whenever they are toxic to you. They try to justify their abuse by using this form of passive love-bombing.
