@@Smzxe You have no clue what you’re talking about. A customer owned 296 GTB has already run 9.7 @ 146 on 91 octane at 700’ altitude (imagine it on 93 octane). The 296 is extremely fast. Mine is much faster than my 992 Turbo S was (no stock Turbo S is running 9’s), and also faster than my F8 Tributo, which is also faster than my Turbo S was. The video is real.

@@matzepizzaheld8541 on that video SF90 was on perfect condition (*quickest time for stock SF90 so far),, on average regular day the SF90 barely that fast,, ¼mile maybe just 9.5-9.6s and 100-200 maybe just around 4.4-4.5s,,,
And the 296GTB also not on it's perfect condition (100-200 in 4.2s),, just average result,, it could be a bit quicker than that,, the owner of video (*and both cars) comfirmed it himself 😁

Wow, I had no idea the 296 was such a weapon! The real close race where the 765 was almost side by side, with the 296, the 765 driver jumped the start in that race.
The 296 is a proper monster.... Very surprising as I expected the 765 to simply have the legs to walk around them all on the mid and top end. Kudos to Ferrari

@@BenzMusoni HP by itself isnt just what gets it there. The launch and how its electric motor compliments the curve and fills in for the boost all work brilliantly as well. The 765 on outright pace up top should have it but low to mid range the 296 is formidable

The Porsche is the least aerodynamic (but probably the fastest on a racing circuit bc of downforce) …but best overall and most reliable for sure. And WHERE apart from a racing circuit (and a few German autobahn kilometers) can you really use that much power?! NO WHERE! In contrary: isn’t it frustrating to have a car (and paid a lot for it) which you can almost only „fully“ use in first and second gear before you‘re braking the law (with all the consequences)? These are only playing toys for old „boys“ with little p****s. Greetings from Germany

The Porsche GT2RS is a generation lower than the McLaren and Ferrari, but it has a similar performance in a straight line, but it is the record holder in the “Green Hell”, which shows that even being a previous generation, Porsche is superior to other brands. In designing the next generation, we can use as an example the fact that the current GT3 is faster than the previous GT3 RS, so the new GT2 RS can expect huge improvements is probably time in the 10s to 10.2s in the 1/4 mile.

Im curious as to whether mclaren will bring out a new hybrid (like the P1) to replace the 765LT. The engine is incredible but it would be truely special with a hybrid element and an all wheel drive system. But who knows 🤷🏼♂️

Das mit dem Gewicht würde sich doch sehr leicht klären lassen. einfach vier kleine portable Waagen kaufen und messen. Weil das Gewicht schwankt ja auch je nach Ausstattung sehr stark und das angegebene Gewicht ist immer das leichteste...

Der Porsche ist für die Rennstrecke immer noch das beste Auto. Sowohl der McLaren als auch der Renner aus Maranello sind leider reine Showcars, die dauerhaft auf der Renne nicht haltbar sind bei Dauerbelastung immer Zicken machen.

Der pista hat den gt2rs auf allen Rennstrecke außer der nordschleife geschlagen, und was jetzt?
Schade, dass sich Menschen heute nicht mehr die Mühe machen Kommentare genau und in Gänze zu lesen. 1.) habe ich geschrieben, dass der Porsche das beste Auto für die Rennstrecke ist, nicht das schnellste Auto. 2.) habe ich dies im Sinne der Haltbarkeit in der Langfristperspektive begründet. Um es erneut deutlich zu machen: Ich kenne aus dem persönliche Umfeld deutliche Beispiele, dass sowohl Ferrari als auch McLaren in Sachen Rennstreckenbelastung auf Dauer einem Porsche deutlich unterlegen sind. Es ist also durchaus möglich, dass ein Ferrari oder auch ein McLaren schnellere Rundenzeiten realisieren als ein GT3 oder GT2 RS, aber viele halten leider nicht mehrere Saisons oder mehrere Trackdays oder teilweise auch mehrere Stints aus, ohne technische Probleme zu bereiten. Ich fahre 5-6 Trackdays im Jahr auf unterschiedlichen Rennstrecken und kenne mehrere Teilnehmer, die seit 10 oder mehr Jahre. Trackdays fahren. Darunter auch Personen, die schon Ferraris und Mclaren im Besitz hatten und mehrfach auf der Rennstrecke benutzt haben. Für diese Personen gilt das gleiche Fazit: Sie haben die Fahrzeuge wieder verkauft und sind wieder auf Porsche umgestiegen, weil die Ferraris und McLaren bei wiederholter Verwendung auf der Rennstrecke Zicken gemacht haben. Leistungseinbußen, Motorschäden usw usw.. wer ein standfestes Tracktool haben will, verwendet einen Porsche oder einen modifizierten BMW. Natürlich mag es Gegenbeispiele und auch zahlreiche andere Fabrikate mit guter Rennstreckenbelastbarkeit geben, aber es gibt gute Gründe dafür, warum Porsche und BMW auf den meisten Trackdays die dominanten Fabrikate sind. Und noch mal zur Klarstellung: das bedeutet natürlich nicht, dass Ferrari und McLaren langsam sind. Ich find die Dinger auch geil, aber sie sind leider unzureichend standfest.

Auf der Geraden sind se alle schnell. Auf der Nordschleife allerdings trennt sich die Streu vom Weizen, und da wird Porsche allen auf und davon fahren.

Nirgendwo ist da ein Porsche zu finden. Merkst Du was? So läuft der Hase.

Lol, that Manthey-Porsche still looks like a Volkswagen Golf 7 and costs more than 100k than this Ferrari 296, and it sucks on a straight line. To be honest, Porsches had the same problems in early 60s. A 90hp 4-stroke engine/ a 6cylinder 160hp was always too weak for Ferrari, Masertai and Aston Martin which had 250hp or more at that time. But on track a few Porsche were quicker, if the track was curvy with short straight lines. The prices for Porsches are exaggerated. A passionated driver finds another car. 964 was the last real Porsche 911 for me. 🤷♂

The 296 GTB surprised me for sure. Knew it would be quicker than the GT2 RS, even the F8 Tributo is. But I didn’t expect it to launch that well and consistently beat the 765LT in the standing races!

At higher speeds the wings of the GT2RS kick in and slow the car down. The GT2RS is a track car and no dragracer, esp. with the Manthey kit.

There aren't many tests of the 296 on race tracks yet (it's too new of a car), but the 765 and GT2 RS have been tested on 6 shared tracks. The 765 was faster on 3, and the GT2 was faster on 3. So they're very even.
Ein Vergleich auf dem kleinen Hockenheimring wäre sinnvoll gewesen. Für ein Beschleunigungsrennen bringt das Manthey Kit ungefähr soviel wie ein NOS Fake auf dem Beifahrersitz.
Man merkt has kein plan von autos bestimmt gibt dir jemand solche autos damit du die aufer rennstrecke kaputt machst.. bremsen danach todes belastet steinschläge usw usw usw generell eine Riesen Belastung
Am Hockenheimringen hat sogar der 720s den gt2rs geschlagen am selben tag all bei gleichen Bedingungen

@@fk4410 Wo finde ich denn deinen Vergleich ? Wenn ich mir die Zeiten für den kl. Kurs ansehe liegt der Porsche GT2RS bei 1:03.80 und der McLaren 720S bei 1:05.50. Für den GP-Kurs finde ich nur eine Zeit für den Manthey GT2 RS 1:43.47 während der McLaren 720S bei 1:45.50 liegt. Da war der neue GT3 RS mit über 200 PS weniger schon schneller. Alle diese Zeiten sind vom selben Fahrer.

@@XxxTheDRAGMASTERxxX Nein. Das Gerücht höre ich 200 mal am Tag. Ich hatte selber nen McL und die geben ALLE Fahrzeuge bewusst mit weniger Leistung an, damit sie besser abschneiden. Das wurde früher schon so gemacht, damals war es aber ne Steuer Sache. Jetzt ist es reines Marketing. Kein 765lt hat unter 800 PS.

The brake test didn't make much sense. I really thought the light, carbon everything, track-focused McLaren would take the win, with the racer car-like Porsche a close second, and the heavy, battery-filled Ferrari coming last. What the hell just happened? 🤯🤯

Over a decade ago McLaren made cars assembled like kit cars even less reliable than the ones they make now. There Is only Porsche and Ferrari buddy. The rest is for 16 years old dudes hardly trying to be different and to look smart.

der 296 ist der absolute Killer. Und das ewige Märchen Bremsen = Porsche bzw. Porsche = Bremsen hat man ja gesehen. Andere können seit Jahren auch bremsen und gar besser.

Das schnellste Auto sichert sich immer Mat Watson, er kann scheinbar nicht verlieren. Den zugereisten Daniel setzen sie immer in die weniger konkurrenzfähigen Autos - dieses Muster wiederholt sich leider immer wieder….
