Bennix is such a good boy and had so much fun! This was definitely the most accessible ship I've been on of the 3 cruises I've taken. :) Watch to see how Gallop did on a cruise 2 years ago: ruclips.net/video/cRepA3ITrxg/видео.html
I’m excited that you did this and tomorrow you’re on a live stream with a.m. ITV you’re doing an audio connect and I will be there when you’re on panel
I love in the one minute you and Bennett together we are doing guide dog videos I will say in the last video you were styling especially with the boots if you don’t mind me saying Molly you were sexy
"If you like pina coloadas, and getting caught in the rain" The song speaks, in three verses and three choruses, of a man who is bored with his current relationship because it has become routine and he desires some variety. One day, he reads the personal advertisements in the newspaper and spots an ad that catches his attention: a woman seeking a man who, among other little things, must like piña coladas (hence it being known as "the piña colada song"). Intrigued, he takes out an ad in reply and arranges to meet the woman "at a bar called O'Malley's", only to find upon the meeting that the woman is actually his current partner. The song ends on an upbeat note, showing the two lovers realized they have more in common than they had suspected and that they do not have to look any further than each other for what they seek in a relationship.
The fact that Molly’s own mother says things like “Oh you haven’t had a look yet” really cracks me up 😆 It also made me weirdly very emotional when she said they gave her a life jacket for Ben, just knowing that you wouldn’t have to leave him behind on a sinking ship if worst came to worst, was really comforting for me.
Mom saying "you haven't had a look yet," reminds me of one of my old classmates and her friend. He was deaf and she was learning ASL. Whenever they would be talking, she'd occasionally be like "Shup up!" and he'd just giggle.
Many service dog handlers bring their own lifejackets. My service dog has a pink mermaid lifejacket with a decorative tail fin off the back. We call it the "furmaid" jacket. Even if we didn't bring a doggo life jacket, handlers would never leave their service dog aboard a sinking ship and leave. They're our lifelines. There is no reason to leave them behind, and we often value them above everyone and everything else. Emotional investment aside, service dogs are a major financial investment. No logical human would leave a $5,000-$25,000 piece of medical equipment (technically) behind on a whim, especially when that medical equipment is self-mobile and capable of following directions. I hope that settles your worry a bit.
@@thecomorbiditycurator8018 That definitely does! I guess in my head I was just imaging the titanic and people scrambling for life boats, but that makes total sense and it definitely brings me peace of mind :)
He was probably nervous about the gangplank because it was really high and had glass walls. Probably couldn't figure out where to lead you without getting too close to danger of you falling off on both sides. It wasn't that wide of a walkway either. He's a good boy ☺️
This is a great point for guide dogs in particular. He probably had no idea what kind of choice he was supposed to make, which is a pretty rare occurrence for a guide dog with that much training.
I LOVE seeing this, I feel so proud of Princess. Thank you so much for making this video, it's so helpful and interesting. 💕👏 I took a cruise with a blind friend a couple of days ago (a 90s-themed cruise ha ha), he doesn't have a guide dog but it really made me notice things that I wouldn't usually.
@EmmaCruises I am so glad you recommended these videos to me for my SD cruise planning! I was right to use your content to make the choice to prioritize Princess (initially due to the Medallion feature)! I'll get to MSC next 😍
Thank you Molly, as a legally blind person, I didn't think a cruise would be fun or safe. I am excited to see how much fun you had and how much Princess Cruises made things accessible. Now I want to go on a cruise too!
It's really nice to see a company that is doing inclusion well, but I wish that this level of inclusion were also accessible to people who don't have tons of money to spare. I really hope it spreads more to non-luxury things.
my thoughts exactly! but also, many disabled people are willing to spend a little more on companies that take the time to make their guest experience optimally accessible. I spend more on airbnb's that have a fenced in yard and zero stairs entry, for example.

Hi Molly, I am a new lower limb amputee. I love to travel and the desire to get back out there is my driving motivation to walk again. I have been considering cruising as a way to start adventuring again. Thank you for showing how accessible Princess is. I have already gone to their website to check out possible itineraries.
I hear that Royal Caribbean and Norwegian are great options for accessible cruising for people with mobility disabilities. I think they're a bit cheaper, too. PT, rehab, OT, etc. are not easy on the bank balance, so a less costly cruise may be of interest to you 🤷♀️
I have memory loss and other things I struggle with due to a childhood illness. When I went on a Princess cruise, we decided on a specific place where we would eat every meal (because I didn’t wanna forget where our table was, get lost, etc.). There was a crew member who remembered where I sat and was able to bring me back to where I was sitting every time. He was THE BEST. He was never condescending about it. Just, super helpful. ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Molly, I'm very tired after a day of work but I waited for your video to plant this 🌴 here. I hope it will grow as beatifull as you! Can't wait to watch this video tomorrow morning (for me). Have a lovely day and thank your mom from me cause she is just as awesome as you!!!!

It reminds me of all the cute things my dad did for me too. What a great vlog! I loved every min of this one! Thank you Molly for sharing this with us.
You sold this wheelchair user, legitimately looking for a cruise to go on and everything you said is right, I'm going to look into booking with them next year. I also didn't really go into port when I went on a cruise.
Seeing that really heavy door to get into the pee spot for your dog made me wonder how it would work for wheelchair users with assistance dogs or others with service dogs who can't open doors like that would work? It'd be great if they would have considered accessibility in the service dog areas too seeing as everyone using them probably has varying disabilities.
Yes! I would NEVER be able to open that door on my own with forearm crutches. My SD is trained to open and close most doors for me. She definitely couldn't open that door.
Well she did mention they choose a different place per customer. So I’m sure they would choose an easier accessible spot for someone who couldn’t open the door. But they knew Molly could do that’s why hers was behind that door
Hi Molly… I received my first guide dog 2 months ago so it’s still really new and I often feel like I have no idea what um doing!! Thank you so much for sharing what daily life with a guide dog is like! I have so few examples I can relate to so I really appreciate your videos! Are there any activities or places you don’t bring Ben? If so I would love to hear your thought process. Also would love as many details as possible about challenges you’ve had as you work on becoming a great team, or challenges with behavior like sniffing or scavenging that you may have encountered in the past and how you handled those. Thank you again for sharing your experiences and ideas with all of us! You help people more than you know!!
OML YES, those medallions are absolutely the best fidget toy. It's really cool to see a cruise ship from an accessibility perspective. I've always noticed the ASL interpreters and wondered how else they are being inclusive, especially in such transparent ways. Particularly cool to see was some of the stuff that I always identified as cool styling, but that you identified as making the ship way easier to navigate. Can't wait to see this mentality permeate into more companies.
I love Princess ...cruised a little over 4o times with them, and Spencer, my guide dog who I have had since 2020 is now on his 6th sailing with them. they are so so accommodating, and as you say, m go out of their way for us. the crew love the guide dogs, and cant do enough for us. its absolutely wonderful.. enjoy Molly & B
This trip looks so fun and the cruise seems so accessible! Good job to them! I also love the blind girl moment at 21:50, Molly looking for her drink :p Hope you had a wonderful time 😊
I took my guide dog on a princess cruise, it was also an amazing experience! We were on the Caribbean princess. I don’t like being caught in the rain or laying out in the sun. I like sitting under and umbrella with my toes in the sun.
This cruise looks like so much fun and it's awesome how accessible it is! That's so awesome that you were able to ride a bike even if your dad had to steer. Especially since that's probably the first time you've been able to ride on a bike for years.
We cruised Princess for our honeymoon, and it was magical. I wasn't disabled yet then, and it was 13 years ago, so I couldn't tell you how accessible that ship was, but the travel agents were fawning over my ship photos when we got home.
I love your content so much! It made me much more aware of the blind community and introduced me to so many other disabled creators! Advocating for disabeled people has been a thing i’ve been doing around my friends and family in order to make them more aware too. I shared many of your videos with them! I can’t thank you enough! P.S. I’ve received so many compliments for my gallop hoodie! 🌴🌴
that medallion is such a great example of integrating being accessible for people with disabilities and then benefiting everyone else too- it's helpful for molly not to have to find the bar, but I bet the bar sells more too when everyone else can order directly! Accessible for the people who need it, convenience for everyone else, increased sales for the company, winning all around!
This is so cool to watch! I just watched another youtuber I follow do a tour on this ship, but from a completely different standpoint (non-disabled standpoint). It's so intriguing to see what different types of passengers notice. They did talk a bit about accessibility, but obviously not as in depth as you now nor did they (of course) mention any service dog accommodations. Where they were more of an all around tour for any traveler, yours is far more in depth and (at least for me) more informational on all the features. I don't think I'd ever go on a cruise with my service dog, as everyone in my family except me gets seasick as soon as they're on a boat, but I still love seeing how it would go. ps: the creators I am talking about weren't on board at the time you were 😅
You can buy a talking thermometer I think Maxi ate sells them or independent living aids it was the first thing I put into my condo and I love it because it tells you exactly what the temperature is with the buttons are
I went on my very first cruise two months ago as a deaf person. I sailed with carnival cruise and their accommodation was interesting to say the least lol. It was a hit with providing ASL interpreters. However sometimes a hit or miss giving the appropriate sitting for on cruise events. The cabin accommodation was definitely a miss big time! Only because the technology they used was sooo 30 years ago. However, the crew was amazing, and I had a great time overall.
What Ben was experiencing sounds like something I’ve seen in my own dog when walking on bridges or other “hanging” surfaces that move a bit when you walk on the, or where the ground is visible (since most dogs have a fear of heights). If that is the case then it’s really just fear and uncertainty of the ground or surface they’re walking on and should pass as soon as they’re off whatever surface they found scary 🐶
I hope you have tactile art in your home! I'm not blind but I am highly tactile and it's so satisfying when you point out the beautiful things that can be touched!
I don't have a disability, but I'm going on my first cruise in over 20 years (I was a toddler last time) this summer! I've been doing so much research and learning so much because cruise ships and foreign countries are big and overwhelming. I'm molly level navigation master of the ship I'm going on. I love hearing perspectives of all different cruisers!
Hey Molly! I’m a dog groomer and recently I have been getting a lot of service dogs. One I have this week is a guide dog. Can you make a video on things I could prepare to do better in this situation. It makes me nervous because I want the customer to understand completely what I’m talking about and in my line of work it’s hard to do without visuals. So any ideas or suggestions you have I would greatly appreciate it 😁
Retired dog groomer of 34 years here..done a lot of service dogs! Just be open about the process and what you need expectation wise and what they need from you before first visit. Guide dogs I have usually done with the client waiting if that's what they want since they don't always have the option to leave!
I just got back from a cruise and I got the spa package and it was 1000% worth it. I also went on an excursion in every port so when I got back I was tired, cold (Alaska), and sore, and I always went to the spa after. So worth it.
My family and I went on our only Princess Cruise back in 2007 or 2008 to Alaska. We gone on several cruises since, especially Norwegian, and now we’ve been going on Viking since my parents are both in their seventies. And all the staff on our cruises are people from all walks of life too and have been so nice. I went on a ship during Covid too and we, too, had to take masks and everyone was vaccinated.
Thanks for the feedback Molly! If me and my black Labrador service dog Darcy Athena ever consider a cruise…. We’ll know who to trust! It can definitely be challenging and anxiety inducing when planning a vacation with your service dog. Even tho the ADA laws require access for service dogs…. Access issues still happen. Definitely not ok. So glad you, Mr Ben, and your family had such a great experience!
"Emma Cruises" recommended I watch this! I'm starting to plan my first cruise, I have a SD. Princess is my first choice too because of Medallion. Emma sold me on that feature bc it inherently makes things more accessible. Emma has also sold me on trying MSC in the future, but Princess will be a wonderful introduction.
This is such a cool video! I work in hospitality tech (ski specifically) and love to hear about all the ways it can help different kinds of guests! I haven't finished the video, but I'm so glad you included so much about all the ways the technology worked for you!!!
So much fun. The one cruise I went on, I didn't get off the boat at any of the port stops. It was my favorite time because the boat would be at it's lowest capacity and that's when we hit the pools. This was many, many, many years ago before pandemics and the boat was super crowded. Still, I've always wanted to go back on a cruise ship!
They just installed those same types of crosswalks in the shopping district in my tiny PNW town. We have a couple cane-users who I run into while out shopping all the time. The fact that they "talk" is also great when you are me and get too distracted to watch the light. It's a wonder I don't wander into traffic more often.
The tandem bike seems so fun! My brother runs a group where every Tuesday night a group of sighties rides with a group of blind people. He’s become super close with his buddy Irwin
You should get a foldable pet bowl for ben for travelling we have multiple for are pet dog toby (a jack Russell) for long walks they have clips so you can clip it to you belt, bag or the dog's harness or lead, I usually clip it and the poop bag holder to my backpack.
This was really cool! Wonderful to see examples of universal accessibility, like you always talk about, with the medallion which is convenient for normies but also has a ton of benefits for people of disability. I'm not in the US but it made me want to go on one of their cruises. Except for that glass floor thing, that's a torture chamber disguised as a feature and I am not on board xD
So happy to see you uploaded this! Your name came up in one of the cruise groups I’m in. Someone wanted to know the specifics for dogs but on Disney ship 😉 let’s go Disney sponsor my girl!
From Kay to Zee channel has a few videos about a guide dog on a Disney Cruise. I hope they help. A major difference I noticed is that Disney will put an extra dog potty bin on the balcony if you book a balcony room.
I'm glad you had a good time on your cruise. I just got off Princess Majestic on 4/30. Did the California coastal cruise as well. People were crowding in the elevators and did not pay attention to the social distancing signs on seating areas. I used to do a cruise once a year but felt very uncomfortable with the crowding unfortunately the day after we got home we ended up getting covid. So I think I will wait awhile until I go back to cruising.
If you want to have the joy of riding a bike again and also taking on a new-ish adventure, it would be so cool to see you do a bike race/ virtual race via tandem bike! There are cool virtual ones where it doesn’t matter where you bike. You just need to do the mileage. It would be a really fun accomplishment that I’ve actually been wanting to do myself! (Note: I’m not disabled. I just don’t bike regularly, so it would still feel like a huge accomplishment for me)
Enjoyed watching this vlog so much and learnt a lot and you gave so many great tips and advice. I loved what you shared with us all that you did on this cruise, and it looked like all of you had so much fun and followed you all through your cruise and thank you so much
Always excited to see you molly you and bennex are an awesome team you are so gifted at memorizing everywhere you great to hear the ship is so accommodating for the blind love you mollyl you always have an entertaining educational video
Hi Molly! This was a lot of fun to watch. I do love cruising and I have traveled quite a few different times with my dog Guide. I will tell you though that on my last cruise which was February 2020, even if I did not get off the ship I had to have my dog vetted by each destination as the ship was in their waters. You are so right that this can be a royal pain in the, well, you know what! Anyway, this was a lot of fun to watch and I am looking forward to my next cruise hopefully next year.
That's so cool that they are so accommodating 😊 and you and your dad on the tandem reminded me of my family vacation in the Netherlands where my dad also got a tandem so that I could go with on the bike tour since I can't bike on my own because of my balance problems 😄
You know you could try the Carribbean Princess line and go to the US Virgin Island and Puerto Rico. My friend who is low vision and uses a guide dog, she sees shadows and shapes but no debt perception and very little detail, goes on their cruises all the time with her guide dogs. It's actually how I see her as she lives in Georgia and visits me in PR when she takes cruises
We're headed out on our 2nd Princess cruise in February. last year when we went, the app was anything but accessible. I'm really hoping that based on your video that they've improved it, particularly Ocean now!
I have always been wary of going on a cruise ship, so thank you for making this video. 💗 Now I might be willing to go on a cruise in the future! ☺️ And you should totally get twinkling lights on the ceiling in one of the rooms in your new home! 😍
Molly your outfits were so cute! Loves the all pink dress with little Ben Ben matching and I also really love your street style. The last outfit (black long sleeve turtleneck with what I think is a shirt or dress over it… FIRE! You are too cute! Say him to momma bee and dad for me
Wow! I can't believe y'all were in my old neighborhood (SF). I haven't been to the pier in so long this video made me miss it. I'm so glad you enjoyed your cruise. I've been wanting to go on another one myself. The Princess Cruises look so nice. Those medallions are awesome, and I love that they're so accessible. I usually go Carnival because they're typically cheaper, but I may have to change it up.
I wonder if the staff uses the medallions to track how often the relief station is used so they can refresh the mulch pit accordingly. Nothing worse than a stinky soggy mulch pit at sea.
I'm glad you liked San Francisco! It was nice seeing current footage of one of my favorite places to go, as I grew up in the Bay Area...San Jose to be exact. San Fran is known to be foggy most of the time. I'm happy you and your Family were able to experience a sunny day 🌞😎🌇
Pawsome a 43 minute Molly movie of her traveling on a cruise ship I can't wait to watch this I'll have my drink and snack ready and enjoy this little movie
I would love to see how this ship compares to other cruise lines! I know you said this has been the most accessible but it would make for an awesome video!
Uhhh brb lemme see if princess cruises is hiring!! Thank you for sharing your experience Molly! It's exciting to see a company that embraces diversity. :)
From what I’m seeing based on the gangplank is Benny boy is not a fan of heights. The walls are pure glass on each side and the ground is a basic brown so to Benny he is walking in the air on a board all while having to to keep you safe.
I feel like the next step is that they should add a speaker to the boxes to control temperature, so then if someone have a hard time to the tactile or just learning brail, they can still know where the temperature is easily.
Literally everywhere in Australia has those tactile foot markers before street crossings, and the audible pedestrian crossings are also just normal here. I assumed most countries were the same.
Bennix is such a good boy and had so much fun! This was definitely the most accessible ship I've been on of the 3 cruises I've taken. :)

Advocating for disabeled people has been a thing i’ve been doing around my friends and family in order to make them more aware too. I shared many of your videos with them!
I can’t thank you enough!
P.S.
I’ve received so many compliments for my gallop hoodie!
🌴🌴
Are you blind?
I’not blind, that’s why i do my best to listen to the blind community and further spread their message
@@maria._.4348 I am blind. Due to retina detachment. When I 4 year

Brings tears to my eyes. So great to see you loveing your best life
that medallion is such a great example of integrating being accessible for people with disabilities and then benefiting everyone else too- it's helpful for molly not to have to find the bar, but I bet the bar sells more too when everyone else can order directly!
I don't think I'd ever go on a cruise with my service dog, as everyone in my family except me gets seasick as soon as they're on a boat, but I still love seeing how it would go.
ps: the creators I am talking about weren't on board at the time you were 😅
You can buy a talking thermometer I think Maxi ate sells them or independent living aids it was the first thing I put into my condo and I love it because it tells you exactly what the temperature is with the buttons are
Looks really fun & beautiful Molly! Glad you enjoyed yourself & brought us along 😊
Thank you for sharing your perspective Molly, I always love learning about about what accessible features make your life easier!
That was.....*marvelous!!* Well done, indeed, by Princess; as a Deaf person, I appreciate the ASL interpreters on board :)
OMG Molly your memory is other worldly
This is such a cool video! I work in hospitality tech (ski specifically) and love to hear about all the ways it can help different kinds of guests! I haven't finished the video, but I'm so glad you included so much about all the ways the technology worked for you!!!
So much fun. The one cruise I went on, I didn't get off the boat at any of the port stops. It was my favorite time because the boat would be at it's lowest capacity and that's when we hit the pools. This was many, many, many years ago before pandemics and the boat was super crowded. Still, I've always wanted to go back on a cruise ship!
aw molly is so beautiful 😭😭 the little look on her face when she was talking about the star-ceiling lights in the spa
I’ll miss Bennix for sure, rewatching this some memories!
They just installed those same types of crosswalks in the shopping district in my tiny PNW town. We have a couple cane-users who I run into while out shopping all the time. The fact that they "talk" is also great when you are me and get too distracted to watch the light. It's a wonder I don't wander into traffic more often.
I've got my first cruise booked for my 40th birthday next year. I'm booked with princess. Loved this video!
The tandem bike seems so fun! My brother runs a group where every Tuesday night a group of sighties rides with a group of blind people. He’s become super close with his buddy Irwin
Awww Ben probably got overwhelmed with the new environment. And going on water.
I love getting caught in the rain. Love the rain ☔️
Nice to see you
Have fun ❤️❤️❤️🥰
I got entirely to excited seeing a 40 minute video to enjoy as i settle down from work - thanks for being so charming and entertaining!
Molly is the cutest person
I actually would like to hear more about your biking experiences! As a sighted person, the thought seems terrifying, even on a tandem.
Pink eyeshadow would look great on this outfif. Love this shade of purple on you
If you want to have the joy of riding a bike again and also taking on a new-ish adventure, it would be so cool to see you do a bike race/ virtual race via tandem bike!
I loved what you shared with us all that you did on this cruise, and it looked like all of you had so much fun and followed you all through your cruise and thank you so much
Love this video, such a cool thing to see Bennix’s experience on a cruise ship 😌🌴
I need to go on this ship one day, that has to be something on my bucket list
I would love to see a family trip like this that includes your brother and sister-in-law
Anyway, this was a lot of fun to watch and I am looking forward to my next cruise hopefully next year.
so pleased there are services for you on the ship. sounds wonderful
Now I wanna go on a cruise so badly. Thanks Molly 🙄😂❤️
We're headed out on our 2nd Princess cruise in February. last year when we went, the app was anything but accessible. I'm really hoping that based on your video that they've improved it, particularly Ocean now!
Omg! This looks like such a wonderful, fun, and relaxing vacay!Never been on a cruise but it reallyyy makes me want to do one
that’s so awesome that they’d have a life-vest that fits ben!
Looks like you had so much fun. The ending had me cracking up. It was like you were in mourning. I hope you can go back and take a trip
I have always been wary of going on a cruise ship, so thank you for making this video. 💗 Now I might be willing to go on a cruise in the future! ☺️ And you should totally get twinkling lights on the ceiling in one of the rooms in your new home! 😍
I have been waiting for this video. I’m glad you and Bennix had fun
Riding the bike with your dad is was so frickin cute!! That's so perfect!! 😍😍
So much fun to be had!!! Looked like the best time. I want to go!!!!
Molly your outfits were so cute! Loves the all pink dress with little Ben Ben matching and I also really love your street style. The last outfit (black long sleeve turtleneck with what I think is a shirt or dress over it… FIRE! You are too cute! Say him to momma bee and dad for me
i am glad that you had a good time on your vacation. i wanted to wish gallop a late happy birthday.
I'm happy you and your Family were able to experience a sunny day 🌞😎🌇
the service at that restaurant looked incredible awe xx
Pawsome a 43 minute Molly movie of her traveling on a cruise ship I can't wait to watch this I'll have my drink and snack ready and enjoy this little movie
I would love to see how this ship compares to other cruise lines! I know you said this has been the most accessible but it would make for an awesome video!
@Dan Sgambelluri Thanks for letting me know!
I’m so impressed with all of the accessibility features on the cruise ship!!
That "medallion" is just a Disney MagicBand, but dressed up fancy. It does make life easier, though.
Uhhh brb lemme see if princess cruises is hiring!! Thank you for sharing your experience Molly! It's exciting to see a company that embraces diversity. :)
So fun! I'm glad you got a break and i got to vacation by proxy! 😆
From what I’m seeing based on the gangplank is Benny boy is not a fan of heights. The walls are pure glass on each side and the ground is a basic brown so to Benny he is walking in the air on a board all while having to to keep you safe.
Loved it, Molly!!!❤️ I’ve never been on a cruise…now I want to go on a Princess cruise!!!
I feel like the next step is that they should add a speaker to the boxes to control temperature, so then if someone have a hard time to the tactile or just learning brail, they can still know where the temperature is easily.
Not sure whether to laugh or cry at the guy who said “can you see it?” when in the service dog relief area 🤦♀️
Ugh! I miss going on cruises! My stomach started growling the minute you mentioned food. Princess was definitely one of my better cruise experiences.
I've been on 2 princess cruises! They are the best.
I love your hair in this video Molly!!!
It's interesting to see just how differently cruise lines treat influencers.
Literally everywhere in Australia has those tactile foot markers before street crossings, and the audible pedestrian crossings are also just normal here. I assumed most countries were the same.
Thank you for this vlog! I’m going on this ship in September and I’m excited for all this behind the scenes footage!
Awesome video Molly! I think because you were in heaven the whole time and it showed! You are so glamorous in that red lipstick!
Love the whole video but I’m a proud “love getting caught in the rain” person myself! There’s something so fun and laughable about it !
