Awesome video! love when you make videos with the 19C awesome Glock. I have both the 19C and 17C gen4 and I like the 19C better as well.

Thanks for the compare! I enjoy the Glock "C" models. I wish Glock would make "C" models in the newer Gen 5 series and also did a G26/27 or G43 with ports!

I think it's all about the slide weight. The heavier slides seem to recoil more.

Your's about the only channel that reviews the G17C. Where's the love ?
Gunslinger does a through review and thats about it ?

Nice video. Imo the 19c looked softer shooting than the other two. What trigger are you running on the 17? I've been using steel city arsenal triggers on my glocks and they have been great for me.

I think they originally used the “p” designation for porting but then changed it to “c” when they used the P for practice guns

You got a great grip the 17C and 19C have less flip. Meanwhile the "34" had more flip due to the longer nad heavier mass at top

Just picked up a new 19c gen 4. Didn't know they still had these new?
But I am not complaining. She's not new anymore now, and I love my 19c! My favorite Glock.

Yep, just picked one up myself. Glock is getting rid of the in inventory and then that’s it. No more. Kind of a bummer…they’re great shooters. Would love to have a gen5 C. Not gonna happen.

I didn't even know these existed until a few days ago. Sold some guns to buy one, and Cabelas told me they couldn't legally sell me a firearm.

Who did the porting on your 19 & 17? I couldn't tell much difference in muzzle rise in the three guns. Good video.

They came from the factory like that. Glock makes a run of ported guns every so often

Agree with you the 19C seem to have less recoil. Strange as you’d think the 17 being larger would.

Best I could tell, the 19C exhibited less muscle climb that the others...

  • @44smithnut

I would think you also have a tad extra weight on the end of the barrel, which helps with muzzle flip. Always enjoy your videos, thank you.

That’s very true. Also the point at which the leverage is pushing down on a comp helps too.

I'm starting to think you are a glock fanboy 🙃
From my perspective the 17 and the 19 were fairly equal on muscle rise, The 43 definitely had more muzzle rise.
