Stop and think of the 12 month old baby girl in Lixnaw Kerry who had to go to hospital for surgery having been mauled by an XL Bully dog this August, or Nicole Morey, 23, from Limerick City who was killed by XL Bullies at her home, one of which had to be shot by the Garda and all the others maimed and harmed as well.Worry more about that and less about these dogs, bred for a dangerous bite and a threat to other people and pets. If you are someone who loves dogs why would you want XL bullies around? They are as much a threat to other dogs as they are to people.
Thank God these things are gone. A threat to other peoples and pets and children. You can only wonder and the mindset of those who choose to inflict them on other people. All the other dogs and loved pets mauled and killed by these, all the children who's lives have been destroyed or erased and we all still have to suffer the noise form these people complaining about them being quite reasonably controlled. Unbelievable selfishness.
@@markilleen4027 Labrador breed doesn't have anywhere near the same ppsi bite pressure. *And* were specifically pure-bred for Temperament. So no, not only could they not, they would also be temperamentally least likely to the most extreme degree, to never even attempt to.
They are a threat to other peoples dogs as well, one of them loose on a park means its a no go zone for kids and other harmless dogs. I can't even understand the minds of people who keep them.
I don't see the sense in this ban - my rescue German Shepherd weighs 100lb and could do a lot of damage if he wasn't properly trained socialised and controlled...!
Its not cruelty to ban this breed and its great it has been banned,what is cruelty is keeping and breeding them, its cruel to other dogs, its cruel to children and its cruel to your neighbors and community to have to suffer the threat they pose.

The ban is on breeding, selling, rehoming. It is not on owning the dog you already have.

They should fine people walking with dogs without leach, no matter the breed. It would be a better decision.
Go and talk to them mothers and fathers whose kids were mauled maimed and scared for life by these kinds of dogs
