Check out this garage makeover. It's been a long time coming. Every deployment Patrick has asked me to organize the garage. You know, do the purge thing and get it squared away. Well, yeah...life happens, he returns and the garage is still a hot mess.
Not this time. He helped a little, but he had no idea we were going to add a WOW factor. After almost 18 years I think he deserves this!! 💪🇺🇸❤️

Went on you tube for the 50th time and again tonight. (I literally just put down my final top coat in my garage just now). I'm getting the same exact tool box and side bins but in black and and do not want black, seen your yellow and now convinced! T.y. for easing my mind with the yellow combination.

I'm over here excited about the contact paper on the deep freezer LOL, saving this video for the garage flooring project next winter. I'm in Texas too and OMG the heat is brutal.

Are yall still in Texas. I just retired from trucking. I was stationed at Warner Robbins AFB in 80 to 84. Ironically im back here retired. I was looking to build my ultimate garage when I came across this video.

@@mynameisneb Once we figured out NOT to do it at the hot point in the day it was super fast and easy. Make sure the temperature is under 80 for sure.

I'm looking to redo the garage for my husband...we just celebrated our anniversary this month (together for 28 years!) and he deserves a great surprise! Anyway, i stumbled across your video and it was so great!
BTW...my dad was 1st Cav WWII, and my brother just retired from the Army; he was also 1st Cav. When i saw the patch at the end, the yellow garage made total sense! 💛

Spray paint the chrome handles on the us general boxes black, they come off super easy and hold up surprisingly well.

Congratulations to this amazing garage make-over! Thank you for your service, too, (my dad was in the US Army too)...I miss him. I do have 1 safety recommendation, though, if you had time. ICE (In case of emergency), move the wall bike rack to the left, which currently covers/blocks the electrical panel, bc you'd need quick access 24/7.

Hola! 🖐Thank you for your service, I mean the both of you. Only one of you may be wearing the uniform BUT you are both serving. I'm a veteran and ALL four of my sons have served, two are active and two have ETS'd. I'm of the opinion that it takes a complete TEAM effort for a family to have success in the military, 100% of each spouse - none of this 50%/50% stuff. One of my active duty sons HAS EARNED all those tabs as well, so awesome👍Great job on this project, Grammie (my wife) and I just got to the part where our garage is empty and clean. Time to build my shop on one end and have some true storage (versus clutter) on the other. Now I'm scooting on over to check out more of your content. Take care and have a good one, Adios!👊

Love the makeover! And I think it's clever that you arranged your shelf heights to arrange your bins with the lowest row on the floor.. When I ran a warehouse department I arranged my racking the same way to add a lot of extra usable space. Are the bins the 37 gallon HDX from Home Depot?

HA! THAT WAS AWESOME! :D And thanks for putting up the cost comparison. That was helpful. No one else has done that in all the videos I've been looking at. It helps give me a mental idea of what this project will cost! It would be fun if you put an Amazon Favorites Page up to go with this to link to the products you decided to use, esp. the mats you used on the floor. Those were cool too. And then if people click on the links you provide, you can get a portion of those sales. Even if the products are sold on Lowes, there may be some Lowes products sold through Amazon, I don't know. Or similar / like items. This was a great video!
