No shade, but nobody ever got fat eating sugar from the plants. I just don't want people who watch this take it for granted. You have to do the research!
Hello Noelle, I wasn't referring to fruitarian diet and talking if it was "good" or "bad", i was just saying that the sugars from the fruit won't make anybody fat.
True processed sugars are bad for you. All Victoria secret models eat lots of fruit (do a lot of cardio and weight lifting as well) and they dont look that bad ehhh...
I don't think natural sugar in fruit is bad. Maybe if consumed in large amounts, but that applies with consuming too much of anything. Fruit balance out all the veggies you should be having. And a lot of the fruit (like beets) essentially mask their sugar contents by the nutrients they offer. If you're juicing only fruits and lots of it than maybe you should reevaluate your juices, but adding one or two in your juices for flavor and balance is fine and it brings in some exclusive nutrients.
Actually any kind of sugar can be bad. Especially fructose which is the kind of sugar found in fruit. It's only bad though if you're just drinking straight up sugar. Meaning if you juice let's say, a pineapple, then you're just taking out the sugar content out of the pineapple. Yes you're also taking out it's vitamins and nutrients but you're taking out lots and lots of sugar. One thing you AREN'T taking out though, is it's fiber. Fiber is what controls the release of sugar in your body. That's why if you ate 5 apples entirely, you'd be totally fine but if you juice it and leave its fiber behind, then your body is gonna get a massive sugar shock because there's nothing there to control it from being released too fast. And so we all know what happens when too much sugar gets put into the body.... it turns into fat. That's why juicing can be a negative thing if you're not well educated and don't know what to juice. and realistically, juicing usually only taste good if you're using a bunch of fruit to sweeten it up. In reality you're supposed to be using mainly vegetables. That's why I prefer blending:) That way I'm still using all the great flavors and get to use all the fruit I want since I am using the whole fruit with it's fiber
Crippled_Clay the only fruit you can mix with vegetables is green apple and this it is if you are using the juice extractor and not the blender. You can not mix vegetables fiber with fruit fiber as this takes two different ways of digestion.
How does the sugar INCREASE in the juice if it has been sitting 15 minutes. That just doesn't make ANY sense. There are MANY inaccuracies in this video. I lost weight by juicing and regularly juice fruits as well as vegetables and continue to maintain a similar weight for last 20 years.

You mentioned that the veggies should be changed out around every four days, but if a person is using your product, green juice, and juicing with that every day, how does that work?

The body doesn't "get used to" the same nutrients if you juice the same types of produce every day, it's just that we need a good VARIETY of nutrients. The body will still assimilate the same nutrients every day if the juices are the same, you just might acquire some nutrient deficiencies.
T Frankel after taking in a certain amount of a nutrient when the body is satiated by it, it will absorb less. in fact, body is built to only absorb so much magnesium at one time.

I have been following your video blog since February of last year 2016, because my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 lung and esophageal cancer and I was searching for natural healing of cancer, and I found your video blog very helpful. I learned a lot from your tips and suggestions on this blog. Almost a year now, I always make juice using the same ingredients like kale, spinach, celery, carrots, beets, apples, lemon, turmeric, parsley, ginger and cilantro. Other than cancer, my husband is also diabetic. No wonder my husband complain that everytime he drinks the juice his sugar count goes high. I always put a lot of carrots, apples and beets in making juice. From now on I will cut back these ingredients. I praise and thank our Lord Jesus for healing my husband, using the juicing as one of the instrument. My husband is doing well and God willing will be back to his work soon.
Yeah, I like to keep it simple, I find leaf, and romaine lettuce to be some of the best tasting, most productive juice, and I've heard it's protein structure is actually better than kale

Hi, I just wanted to say thank you taking the time to make these videos and sharing you information with us. Even though not everyone appreciates it. And I'm appalled at the rude comments. Anyhow I can only speak for myself and I thank you. I have juiced over the years and had some success and then sometimes not. I was always very fit at 5"2 I was 110 pounds for most of my life. I ate healthy and exercised. But I went through some very hard times and became an emotional eater. I went from 110 pounds to 304 pounds. I've lost 170 pounds earring right, exercising and juicing. Recently I hit a plateau and I've changed up my juicing following your recipes. I've been consistently losing 2 to 4 pounds a week. I have diabetes that is almost gone I'm no longer on meds for it. I don't use much fruit as the natural sugar is crazy in some fruits especially grapes, Which happen to be my favorite lol. Anyhow thank you for the videos and for the chance to be entered to win one of your juicers.
I'm always left with a great sense of skepticism after watching these videos, and it's not just Drew, every person on RUclips telling us that they know how to fix our dietary issues and subsequent diseases just leaves me confused. I know he's claimed he's not a scientist and some of the things that he and others have recommended have made me feel better, but I'm generally left more confused and unsure about what to do than anything else. Just my two cents.
***** yes it can be confusing can't it. Everyone is different and everyone should find a diet that works for them and keeps them at a healthy weight and feeling fit and healthy. I personally eat about 4 portions of fruit a day for my breakfast and I eat beetroot with my salad nearly every day and have no issues with my weight and I exercise regularly. I also eat honey and dates which are supposed to be full of sugar too but honey and dates are highly nutritious and eaten in moderation is fine. There is no perfect diet and you could find an issue with everything that you eat. If you eat a good diet cutting out sugar and processed foods and additives and including lots of variety of fruits, vegetables, meat, nuts, seeds, legumes, cheese and eggs and good fats like butter, coconut oil, avocados, then you are doing a good job to make sure your body receives all the nutrients it needs to keep you healthy. I avoid gluten but that is also your personal choice.

I grew up eating fast food, junk food, you name it. Ever since I started watching I vowed to changed my past ways. Here's the twist, I was born with extremely bad knees. I have dislocated both a total of five times and I just finished my second surgery to fix them. I been doing it wrong..I was doing a hand ful of spinach, 1/8 of cucumber..some kale, some celery, some slices of apple for sweetness, 2 spoons of yogurt and silk milk..and not on an empty stomach...I eat a boiled egg.1 slice of bacon and 1 cup of dry cereal, then I drink my juice......what was I thinking....Thank you for showing me what I was doing wrong...
Wow - I really appreciated this vid! I think I am living proof that what you say is true. I started juicing organic vegetables (not fruit) that I get fresh from the Farmers Market about 6 months ago. I have been juicing quite a lot (about a quart) everyday and gained weight!! What the heck?!?! The opposite was supposed to happen. This video has given me hope because indeed I was doing several things you point out. People need to just do what works for them. We're all born with intuition. People need to stop presenting what they do for themselves to the world as if it's THE way. When you go to other vids THEY'LL tell you to NOT do many things that this vid tell you to do and everyone ends up confused. Pick the information you intuitively think you can apply to your specific situation and apply it. No one single person has the gold standard of anything.

Question: if we are supposed to change ingredients every four days to keep the metabolism up, would drinking the green juice powder you guys make be ineffective after a few days? Do you have varying formulas so that they body doesn't get accustomed?
If you eat the vegetables it’s better then when you drink it the carbs go right in the body causing it to lowering your metabolism and store fat A juice boost is good before a workout
How could the juice be "primarily green" when all the ingredients were green? Looks to me like he put some beet, carrot or red fruit in there. With the ingredients mentioned it should have been a deep green juice.

I don't agree with everything you say but one most important is to drink you juice immediately after making it. Never make a hug batch for later. I grow my own garden so it is organic and fresh, I also utilize the rinds. My favorite is watermelon with half the rind and add some mint... Very refreshing....
I've just started with healthy juices and smoothies, this guy has made me feel as though I've been doing it all wrong, but the notches on my belt don't lie.
I personally would ignore the whole "getting fat" from juicing. The juicing helps clean your gut out of old fecal matter, hydrates the body on a cellular level, increases one's biophoton levels, reverses dis-ease in the body (which comes from the old fecal matter in the gut) and gives the body much needed nutrition it's lacking. Different people will have different opinions by their own education and judgement. Natural sugar from plants will not make you fat, that white processed sugar from the store and many processed foods and drinks will.

I am so confused and it’s getting worse day by day. I started out juicing and blending, now I’m watching videos that are saying it is harmful to eat greens, they are toxic. Go with meat. Ugh. Im getting to so frustrated. I’ve been drinking just celery juice every morning for 12 days now and this lady said it is toxic and is too high of of an oxalate so I have no idea what to even do now. I’m about to pull my hair out! I just want to know what to feed my family and I to live a healthy life. It shouldn’t be this difficult! 😣😞
I think the main thing about juicing is if you are eating solid food and juicing you should rotate your juices. I noticed that when I was doing carrot/ apple/ beat / lemon / lime/ pear and ginger ( lovely Linda recipe) tastes amazing but I was gaining weight when I was doing it everyday . Now I switch up and do a green juice every other day. And it is fine. The fruits pineapple/ pears/ orange are super high in sugar and should be limited in juicing . They make everything taste amazing. Now I just use apple to sweeten the greens with lemon and lime. Food is medicine❤
I'm 64 and have been juicing over 15 years and mostly with sweet fruits like Banana, Pineapple , Orange, Papaya, Carrot and beetroot, thump size ginger and tablespoon of coconut oil every morning, BUT could not understand why I still have high body fat and also very slowly gaining weight, though I run 4-5 x a week 4k. Well I have always tried to lose weight with fast weight loss remedies like pills, three day diets, cleanses, etc. but since I have been juicing and watching what I put in my mouth I have notice that I feel wonderful, have lost inches, not really weight (but 10 pounds) because I have a lot of muscle on my body and have never been happier. Watching you videos have inspired me and help to keep me going even though right now with all your tips and trick I have learned to do it myself, I just love the motivation from you. I've been praying for a juicer cuz I have Hashimottos and haven't gone anywhere in 2 and 1/2 yrs.I want to be well enough to be able to visit my Grandkids.My son just got a juicer from a friend for me but it's a Tur Mix from 1948 and it leaks out from the sides when it's running,it's amazing how heavy it is.I was so excited to get this juicer until it started leaking all over.

I'm one of those who gained 3-4 lbs. a few days after juicing because I used at least 2 apples, 2-3 slices of pineapple. I like my juice to be on the sweeter side. My question is, when you juice for breakfast, don't you eat solid foods after that or do you eat solid food for lunch and dinner everyday?

I've been watching your videos for awhile now and would like to thank you for the awesome tips and information! Really. I'm 19 and 3 months ago I made a goal and promise to myself, to cut out sugar, fast food, basically any food that doesn't benefit my body, isn't going into my body.I've substituted it all with nature's food. Never felt nor looked better in my life. Your videos inspire me to keep going and try new things which all work by the way. I've been blending everything into smoothies but I feel juicing would much more beneficial to utilize all nutrients, as you mention. I'd be completely ecstatic if I won the juicer this week! I'd put it to good use everyday haha it'd make me even more excited for the wheatgrass seeds I just ordered!

I had no idea I could gain weight juicing. I have an autoimmune disorder that causes inflammation inside my body. I have begun to get blisters on my hands especially. I want to start juicing as soon as I can get a juicer. A good one just costs a lot. I am hoping trying to eat more clean will help me.

U r right- i watched this and rotate my juices after 3 days- all skins and peels and i cut out fruit- Ive juiced fir a few yrs- lost 60 lbs and kept it off- but stopping carrots, apples, pineapple chged it 100%
I don't understand when people say fruits and vegetables have too much sugar. well then what are we supposed to eat then ? I think if you eat organically and a plant based diet , it doesn't matter if you eat a lot of fruits and vegetables because its all natural.

lackzoom I use a WHOLE FRUIT juicer -- a Magic Bullet right now, and you can certainly add a banana in with everything else. And, yes, freezing the banana (or any fruit) makes great sorbet.
Brenda Allen That's not juicing it's blending. Totally different. When juicing you are literally making a plant extract. juicing is far more potent and around 4-8 times more nutrients are absorbed from juice vs blending. Both have their place. Most juice for health and blend for meals since the fiber is filling. Also doing that allows you to extract all the beneficial material from really fibrous plants that make smoothies gross and get the extremely bitter or sour or other unpleasant stuff out of the way so you don't have to make your smoothie taste as bad. It is a win win. But as far as for health benefits juicing by far, that's why it's more work to do haha.
Hi Drew, Thank you for providing all of the best nutritional advice one could hope to incorporate into ones life. This year I turned 60 years young and though it's taken time I am slowly turning the corner on making my wife's and my dietary intake healthier and more organic. I am approaching 10 years post cancer and can say diet has played a huge role in staying healthy. For the last couple years I have seen the juicers at our local organic food store and can only think of all the organic food I could buy for the cost of these workhorses. It would be wonderful to experiment with juicing though. Wouldn't it be great to claim juicing as the means to achieving my 120th birthday! God Bless you!
Thank you so much for sharing these recipes I just started juicing and OMG, you were so right about the flavors and energy. The first time I made a green drink, it was a little scary. I put in spinach, celery, cucumbers, apples and lemon juice. I loved it. I have looked a more of your videos and am getting more recipes. I learned about rotating the greens every three to four days and not to put in too many root vegetables. I was worried I might be putting in too many apples (2) or beets, but I don't really use that much because the drinks taste so good. Thanks so much for your ideas and recipes. I have been watching your videos for a while now and sharing them with any and everyone they have giving me so much knowledge and has me making small changes in my life. However for the past 6 months I have been going through chemotherapy treatments for breast cancer and while it's depleting me of all my nutrients and energy. From my experience, keep an eye on the calorie content, if you're not drinking heaps of booze, you'll be fine. I believe I have to be extra careful though, when taking out the fibre, fructose can easily go straight to belly fat. He makes good points.
He might have used some red or rainbow chard, which believe it or not adds a lot of red. Also red kale could have been used. Though, you're right we didn't see any..
thank you so much! I just got into juicing a few days ago. Im 13 weeks pregnant and I want to be healthy through out my pregnancy. I had a friend who was low on iron and ended up in the hospital, who is pregnant as well. I tend to sometimes be low on iron. So I bought a juicer. my body feels so much better already. I used to eat a lot of candy and bad stuff with sugar. I use carrot because I figure its a better sugar, but I will work my way up to not adding a lot of carrot. cucumber is so good though!!! maybe ill try cucumber juice with lemon. thank you so much!

I've been trying to convince my parents to start Juicing but you know the old fashion generation. Don't want to spend the money on a good juicer. yes i have learned you must rotate veggie n fruits.. because i get sick of the same taste. so i explore with many options. too me its an life style. so i have fun being creative.
I have one of those ninja blenders that has four buttons, one of them is a juicing button. The blender also comes with a small little vacuum pump that allows you to vacuum out the air before you blend or juice whatever it is you’re going to blend or juice. You can also make smoothies with this. I think it’s a great little machine that I can use until I get a juicer.
I watched Joe Cross Netflix documentary. Been juicing about 5 weeks. 20lbs gone. I was 5'8" 197, 43yrs old- not obese but looking at a new wardrobe for sure. 1st week just juice. It was tough. 2nd week juice until about 4:30pm. 1 high protein meal (couple eggs, vegetables, maybe sautéed onions, and then started adding a lean red meat like filet), by the 4th week I moved my meal up in the day, using fish, chicken, steak- still eggs- I like my breakfast for lunch/dinner (and easy to prepare or get when I'm out of town.) I work on the road so half the week I'm consuming store bought Naked or Odwalla brand. Mainly green juice. Treating myself occasionally or post workout to Mango. Light workout- dumbells- no cardio- 20-30min about 3-4 times a week. Amazing how good I feel- and if I overeat- how I immediately get tired and sluggish. You may need to drink a glass every 2-3 hours to keep energy levels up. You'll know when you start. Just start!

True processed sugars are bad for you. All Victoria secret models eat lots of fruit (do a lot of cardio and weight lifting as well) and they dont look that bad ehhh...
I don't think natural sugar in fruit is bad. Maybe if consumed in large amounts, but that applies with consuming too much of anything.
Fruit balance out all the veggies you should be having. And a lot of the fruit (like beets) essentially mask their sugar contents by the nutrients they offer.
If you're juicing only fruits and lots of it than maybe you should reevaluate your juices, but adding one or two in your juices for flavor and balance is fine and it brings in some exclusive nutrients.
That is right. As long you don't mix fruits with vegetables!... for eg a classic mistake: orange and carrot juice...that is a big nonono.
Actually any kind of sugar can be bad. Especially fructose which is the kind of sugar found in fruit. It's only bad though if you're just drinking straight up sugar. Meaning if you juice let's say, a pineapple, then you're just taking out the sugar content out of the pineapple. Yes you're also taking out it's vitamins and nutrients but you're taking out lots and lots of sugar. One thing you AREN'T taking out though, is it's fiber. Fiber is what controls the release of sugar in your body. That's why if you ate 5 apples entirely, you'd be totally fine but if you juice it and leave its fiber behind, then your body is gonna get a massive sugar shock because there's nothing there to control it from being released too fast. And so we all know what happens when too much sugar gets put into the body.... it turns into fat. That's why juicing can be a negative thing if you're not well educated and don't know what to juice. and realistically, juicing usually only taste good if you're using a bunch of fruit to sweeten it up. In reality you're supposed to be using mainly vegetables. That's why I prefer blending:) That way I'm still using all the great flavors and get to use all the fruit I want since I am using the whole fruit with it's fiber

Crippled_Clay the only fruit you can mix with vegetables is green apple and this it is if you are using the juice extractor and not the blender. You can not mix vegetables fiber with fruit fiber as this takes two different ways of digestion.

The body doesn't "get used to" the same nutrients if you juice the same types of produce every day, it's just that we need a good VARIETY of nutrients. The body will still assimilate the same nutrients every day if the juices are the same, you just might acquire some nutrient deficiencies.
T Frankel after taking in a certain amount of a nutrient when the body is satiated by it, it will absorb less. in fact, body is built to only absorb so much magnesium at one time.

I have been following your video blog since February of last year 2016, because my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 lung and esophageal cancer and I was searching for natural healing of cancer, and I found your video blog very helpful. Almost a year now, I always make juice using the same ingredients like kale, spinach, celery, carrots, beets, apples, lemon, turmeric, parsley, ginger and cilantro. Other than cancer, my husband is also diabetic. No wonder my husband complain that everytime he drinks the juice his sugar count goes high. I always put a lot of carrots, apples and beets in making juice. From now on I will cut back these ingredients. Hi, I just wanted to say thank you taking the time to make these videos and sharing you information with us. Even though not everyone appreciates it. And I'm appalled at the rude comments. Anyhow I can only speak for myself and I thank you. I have juiced over the years and had some success and then sometimes not. I was always very fit at 5"2 I was 110 pounds for most of my life. I ate healthy and exercised. But I went through some very hard times and became an emotional eater. I went from 110 pounds to 304 pounds. I've lost 170 pounds earring right, exercising and juicing. Recently I hit a plateau and I've changed up my juicing following your recipes. I've been consistently losing 2 to 4 pounds a week. I have diabetes that is almost gone I'm no longer on meds for it. I don't use much fruit as the natural sugar is crazy in some fruits especially grapes, Which happen to be my favorite lol. Anyhow thank you for the videos and for the chance to be entered to win one of your juicers.
I'm always left with a great sense of skepticism after watching these videos, and it's not just Drew, every person on RUclips telling us that they know how to fix our dietary issues and subsequent diseases just leaves me confused.
I know he's claimed he's not a scientist and some of the things that he and others have recommended have made me feel better, but I'm generally left more confused and unsure about what to do than anything else.

***** yes it can be confusing can't it. Everyone is different and everyone should find a diet that works for them and keeps them at a healthy weight and feeling fit and healthy. I personally eat about 4 portions of fruit a day for my breakfast and I eat beetroot with my salad nearly every day and have no issues with my weight and I exercise regularly. I also eat honey and dates which are supposed to be full of sugar too but honey and dates are highly nutritious and eaten in moderation is fine. There is no perfect diet and you could find an issue with everything that you eat. If you eat a good diet cutting out sugar and processed foods and additives and including lots of variety of fruits, vegetables, meat, nuts, seeds, legumes, cheese and eggs and good fats like butter, coconut oil, avocados, then you are doing a good job to make sure your body receives all the nutrients it needs to keep you healthy. I avoid gluten but that is also your personal choice.

Wow - I really appreciated this vid! I think I am living proof that what you say is true. I started juicing organic vegetables (not fruit) that I get fresh from the Farmers Market about 6 months ago. I have been juicing quite a lot (about a quart) everyday and gained weight!! What the heck?!?! The opposite was supposed to happen. This video has given me hope because indeed I was doing several things you point out. People need to just do what works for them. We're all born with intuition. People need to stop presenting what they do for themselves to the world as if it's THE way. When you go to other vids THEY'LL tell you to NOT do many things that this vid tell you to do and everyone ends up confused. Pick the information you intuitively think you can apply to your specific situation and apply it. No one single person has the gold standard of anything.

I don't agree with everything you say but one most important is to drink you juice immediately after making it. Never make a hug batch for later. I grow my own garden so it is organic and fresh, I also utilize the rinds. My favorite is watermelon with half the rind and add some mint... Very refreshing....

I personally would ignore the whole "getting fat" from juicing. The juicing helps clean your gut out of old fecal matter, hydrates the body on a cellular level, increases one's biophoton levels, reverses dis-ease in the body (which comes from the old fecal matter in the gut) and gives the body much needed nutrition it's lacking. Different people will have different opinions by their own education and judgement. Natural sugar from plants will not make you fat, that white processed sugar from the store and many processed foods and drinks will.

I am so confused and it’s getting worse day by day. I started out juicing and blending, now I’m watching videos that are saying it is harmful to eat greens, they are toxic. Go with meat. Ugh. Im getting to so frustrated. I’ve been drinking just celery juice every morning for 12 days now and this lady said it is toxic and is too high of of an oxalate so I have no idea what to even do now. I think the main thing about juicing is if you are eating solid food and juicing you should rotate your juices. I noticed that when I was doing carrot/ apple/ beat / lemon / lime/ pear and ginger ( lovely Linda recipe) tastes amazing but I was gaining weight when I was doing it everyday . Now I switch up and do a green juice every other day. And it is fine.
The fruits pineapple/ pears/ orange are super high in sugar and should be limited in juicing . They make everything taste amazing.
Now I just use apple to sweeten the greens with lemon and lime.

I'm 64 and have been juicing over 15 years and mostly with sweet fruits like Banana, Pineapple , Orange, Papaya, Carrot and beetroot, thump size ginger and tablespoon of coconut oil every morning, BUT could not understand why I still have high body fat and also very slowly gaining weight, though I run 4-5 x a week 4k. Well I have always tried to lose weight with fast weight loss remedies like pills, three day diets, cleanses, etc. but since I have been juicing and watching what I put in my mouth I have notice that I feel wonderful, have lost inches, not really weight (but 10 pounds) because I have a lot of muscle on my body and have never been happier. Watching you videos have inspired me and help to keep me going even though right now with all your tips and trick I have learned to do it myself, I just love the motivation from you. I've been praying for a juicer cuz I have Hashimottos and haven't gone anywhere in 2 and 1/2 yrs.I want to be well enough to be able to visit my Grandkids.My son just got a juicer from a friend for me but it's a Tur Mix from 1948 and it leaks out from the sides when it's running,it's amazing how heavy it is.I was so excited to get this juicer until it started leaking all over.

I've been watching your videos for awhile now and would like to thank you for the awesome tips and information! Really. I'm 19 and 3 months ago I made a goal and promise to myself, to cut out sugar, fast food, basically any food that doesn't benefit my body, isn't going into my body.I've substituted it all with nature's food. U r right- i watched this and rotate my juices after 3 days- all skins and peels and i cut out fruit- Ive juiced fir a few yrs- lost 60 lbs and kept it off- but stopping carrots, apples, pineapple chged it 100%
I don't understand when people say fruits and vegetables have too much sugar. well then what are we supposed to eat then ? I think if you eat organically and a plant based diet , it doesn't matter if you eat a lot of fruits and vegetables because its all natural.
Question, can you make a facial mask with the left over pulp? And will it be effective?
Thank you for the great tips. I have been using a Ninja to juice and it wasn't until recently that I realized this blender was not the best juicing system. MEDiumInc Yes you can, but as far as juice coming out of it, it won't happen. :)
lackzoom I use a WHOLE FRUIT juicer -- a Magic Bullet right now, and you can certainly add a banana in with everything else. And, yes, freezing the banana (or any fruit) makes great sorbet.
Brenda Allen That's not juicing it's blending. Totally different. When juicing you are literally making a plant extract. juicing is far more potent and around 4-8 times more nutrients are absorbed from juice vs blending. Both have their place. Most juice for health and blend for meals since the fiber is filling. Also doing that allows you to extract all the beneficial material from really fibrous plants that make smoothies gross and get the extremely bitter or sour or other unpleasant stuff out of the way so you don't have to make your smoothie taste as bad. It is a win win. But as far as for health benefits juicing by far, that's why it's more work to do haha.
Hi Drew, Thank you for providing all of the best nutritional advice one could hope to incorporate into ones life. This year I turned 60 years young and though it's taken time I am slowly turning the corner on making my wife's and my dietary intake healthier and more organic. I am approaching 10 years post cancer and can say diet has played a huge role in staying healthy. For the last couple years I have seen the juicers at our local organic food store and can only think of all the organic food I could buy for the cost of these workhorses. It would be wonderful to experiment with juicing though. Wouldn't it be great to claim juicing as the means to achieving my 120th birthday! God Bless you!

Thank you so much for sharing these recipes I just started juicing and OMG, you were so right about the flavors and energy. The first time I made a green drink, it was a little scary. I put in spinach, celery, cucumbers, apples and lemon juice. I loved it. I have looked a more of your videos and am getting more recipes. I learned about rotating the greens every three to four days and not to put in too many root vegetables. I was worried I might be putting in too many apples (2) or beets, but I don't really use that much because the drinks taste so good. Thanks so much for your ideas and recipes. It's my turn to share with my family now.

I have been watching your videos for a while now and sharing them with any and everyone they have giving me so much knowledge and has me making small changes in my life. However for the past 6 months I have been going through chemotherapy treatments for breast cancer and while it's depleting me of all my nutrients and energy. I decided to purchase Organifi green juice and I must say in the first week I felt a difference. Now after my last chemo 07/10/15 Yesssssss!!!! I would like to start juicing for a much healthier lifestyle and making sure I take care of my body so my cancer does not EVER! Come back
From my experience, keep an eye on the calorie content, if you're not drinking heaps of booze, you'll be fine. I believe I have to be extra careful though, when taking out the fibre, fructose can easily go straight to belly fat. He makes good points.

He might have used some red or rainbow chard, which believe it or not adds a lot of red. Also red kale could have been used. Though, you're right we didn't see any..

thank you so much! I just got into juicing a few days ago. Im 13 weeks pregnant and I want to be healthy through out my pregnancy. I had a friend who was low on iron and ended up in the hospital, who is pregnant as well. I tend to sometimes be low on iron. So I bought a juicer. my body feels so much better already. I used to eat a lot of candy and bad stuff with sugar. I use carrot because I figure its a better sugar, but I will work my way up to not adding a lot of carrot. cucumber is so good though!!! maybe ill try cucumber juice with lemon. thank you so much!

Im Jusu Leader here in BC Canada,,,we follow your way of thinking ...we cold press are juices and i agree the greener the better. im about to start the diet taking a green juice 5 times a week..16 oz and tree fruit 16 oz for 2 then water... i will let you know in 3 months...every think is fully organic and the best Juice you can get on any market

Thanks again for another great video Drew...Again very helpful tips. I started Juicing 3 year ago and went from 268lbs down to a very fit 198lbs. I've been trying to convince my parents to start Juicing but you know the old fashion generation. Don't want to spend the money on a good juicer. I'm fortunate to be living close by them so I periodically make enough juice so that can share it with them. They really do like how they feel when they're juicing. Hi., Angel here , I have been using my friend juicer for around 8 months now and I follow a lot of what you are telling us and I also found that I have been using the left over fiber mix with and egg to make a patty and have that also. fry them in the coconut oil you talk about, they are real good also. yes i have learned you must rotate veggie n fruits.. because i get sick of the same taste. so i explore with many options. too me its an life style. so i have fun being creative.
I have one of those ninja blenders that has four buttons, one of them is a juicing button. The blender also comes with a small little vacuum pump that allows you to vacuum out the air before you blend or juice whatever it is you’re going to blend or juice. You can also make smoothies with this. I think it’s a great little machine that I can use until I get a juicer.
I watched Joe Cross Netflix documentary. Been juicing about 5 weeks. 20lbs gone. I was 5'8" 197, 43yrs old- not obese but looking at a new wardrobe for sure. 1st week just juice. It was tough. 2nd week juice until about 4:30pm. 1 high protein meal (couple eggs, vegetables, maybe sautéed onions, and then started adding a lean red meat like filet), by the 4th week I moved my meal up in the day, using fish, chicken, steak- still eggs- I like my breakfast for lunch/dinner (and easy to prepare or get when I'm out of town.) I work on the road so half the week I'm consuming store bought Naked or Odwalla brand. Mainly green juice. Treating myself occasionally or post workout to Mango. Light workout- dumbells- no cardio- 20-30min about 3-4 times a week.
Amazing how good I feel- and if I overeat- how I immediately get tired and sluggish. You may need to drink a glass every 2-3 hours to keep energy levels up. You'll know when you start. Just start!
