Exactly! it's just unfortunate a lot of people are unaware that Gambit is Cajun or unfamiliar with Cajun culture. I can't tell you how many arguments I got into it online because of that. 😂
No offense, say his accents is correct, I could not sit through a full movie of dude talking like that. It was not as good as the original cartoon. Loved his fight scene
@andrewh3264 regardless these dudes are clueless and I stopped watching after that cuz they have no idea what their talking about lol joey is so annoying
@thorkagemob1297 point is these dudes don't know jack shit and joey is unbearable to watch. Also madame web was sony not marvel, idk why kept saying that shit lol dumbass I swear
Our whole family went to see the movie. When Wolverine put the cowl on and went to work my husband looked at me and just patted me and said “calm down woman” 😂😂😂
Hearing Wolverine say that he was proud to wear his suit was really moving. So happy for Hugh Jackman that he got to return and that his performance was on point, as always.
First off, Joey you always look beautiful but I'm glad filming this pod seemed to put you in better spirits. I love you all so much and thanks for being a light in this world. I look forward to watching your pod every Friday ❤
I always remember Family Channel here in Canada showing Andy in his wolverine costume as a commercial bumper for the show and acting like Jim Carrey. Andy is the best. Keep that awesome childhood part of yourself alive forever Andy!
I'm devastated that I'll miss you guys at 90sCon in FL because of knee surgery! I want to thank you for your authenticity and light. Your pod da pod is truly "hygge" for me! ❤🙏
My favorite scene was when Wolverine finds out Deadpool mislead him and snaps at him. Then Deadpool just says “I’m gonna fight you now” with so much vulnerability and emotion. Even in a mask you can feel the pain in his face.
The one thing I appreciate about the Deadpool movies and this movie now is that no jokes are off the table. It really felt like old comedy when everything wasn’t deemed so controversial. Sometimes I just need a good raunchy badass comedy! I loved it.
I went to see this with my family- we’re all into Marvel (good and bad ones)!! My dad read all of the OG comics. When Wolverine put the yellow mask on, my dad audibly cheered and clapped his hands together because he was so excited to finally see the completed yellow suit… I will ALWAYS remember his reaction to it- it’s something so special to me!!!! 🥹❤️❤️❤️❤️🫶 IT WAS SUCH A GREAT MOVIE
Awww JOEY!! I said a prayer for you as soon as I saw your face. Whatever is weighing on you right now will be lifted! ❤❤❤ We love you extra today Joey!!! And Andy and Matt you’re the best too as always!! ❤
I had a comic books and collectible business from 1980 through the end of 1998. And then an online business for a few years. After Spider-Man, Wolverine was always my favorite. I took my teenage son and his girlfriend to see this movie the second Saturday, because that’s the earliest he was available to go see it. When Wolverine put on the cowl, I got misty-eyed. It took a lot of restraint not to yell “yeah! “ at the screen. It gives me chills just thinking about it. I loved this movie so much. And it’s great that the three of you brothers get to do a podcast together. Very enjoyable.
I also want to say that Andy was such an amazing actor at 5 years of age in Brotherly Love. I have been rewatching Brotherly Love and I am amazed at how amazing of an actor he was! So adorable as Wolverine too! I just wanted to let Andy know I can see that acting is definitely in his blood. It is in all of you naturally!
I just died laughing at the Something About Mary reference. I reference that same scene all the time with, "Step into my office. Why? Cause your fkn fired!" and no one ever knows what I'm talking about. This feels like vindication. 🤣
After watching your guys review I now want to pay to see this movie. I didnt want to see it before hearing this. I know you guys are true movie buffs so I trust your testimony.Joey your gorgeous!
My first thought when I got to the theatre was, “This is what the Lawrence brothers were talking about recently (how movies used to be)….I hope they go see this movie asap!”
Haven't seen Deadpool & Wolverine (yet) but have been loving watching all the promo they've done for it. Loved hearing your review of it, deffo going to watch it ☺
My son is 14. He knows the X-Men. But then, his dad was a fanboy who opened his own comic book store and had a successful business for more than 20 years. I made sure he watched all those movies. Although he keeps stalling on seeing guardians of the Galaxy three on Disney+. I’m waiting to watch it with him. 😁
No joke, saw Deadpoolverine Saturday, and when I got home I had a weird urge to watch Brotherly Love and found the pilot on RUclips. The first scene is Andy dressed as Wolverine ❤️
Thank you Bros for reviewing this movie 😂 it was so great! P.S. one of my fave versions of Wolverine was the Henry Cavil version lol he’d be a good replacement 👀
I just watched Boltneck because of this podcast. I'm not even into "scary" type movies and this was amazing! 😂😂 Seeing Ryan Reynolds and Matthew Lawrence SO young in this movie was great!
First time hearing your podcast. You guys are great!! I guess you came up in my feed as I am a huge Hugh Jackman fan and have watched everything I can to do with this movie. Have seen the movie 3 times and am seeing it for the 4th time tomorrow morning in Dolby Cinema. I have heard its the best way to see it. FYI, Hugh is 55, will be 56 in Oct.
Man, I remember being a kid and wanting to hang out with you guys because i wanted that relationship with my brothers. Now I'm damn near 40 and would still crack a beer with you.
To my understanding, on Earth-11029 Victor Von Doom was Iron Man and Tony Stark is Dr. Doom, which Marvel needs to go down this route otherwise it wouldn’t make sense
Doom is an alternate version of Tony Stark. Tony lived with the fear of seeing his friends and loved ones die as the world ended. Tony's plan was to create a suit around the world. "Whether it impacted our precious freedoms or not, that's what we needed!" Sounds Doom like 🤔 Now, in another reality he exists as Victor Von Doom he's damaged because he witnessed Galatus devour his world. He ends escaping with the Fantasy Four to Marvel 616 (Marvel proper.) Doom has the same mentality as Tony did but instead having visions of his worst fear, Doom's already lived through it and will do anything to not prevent it from happening again.
Just before I forget is that, Ryan gosling did come out with a new movie called "Fall Guy.". It's supposed to be an action comedy series that's based on a TV series back in 1981. I haven't seen it yet but Im interested to see it. Online there is a teaser trailer from sdcc of the next fantastic four movie. I'm hoping that they will do this one better than the last one. Also would thought that it would be more comical to have two Johnny storms arguing in "Deadpool and wolverine" Also you may want to try to find the interview with Wesley snipe about the film. He reveals something very special. Trying to not spoil it. Little information about Dark Claw, is that it was created because of the financial issues back in the 90s with comic books companies. Marvel and DC teamed up for marvel versus DC where it had characters like the hulk versus Superman, Superboy versus Spider-Man Ben rally, or Captain America versus Batman. Midway in the comic book the two universes merged but then got separated and formed the amalgam universe. Those have their own comfort series that was short-lived. Might be able to find copies online. Special note, just heard something about Japan having issues with taxes and new policies that is going to interfere with Manga and anime creations. What I understand it's going to infect with original stories. It looks like they're going down the same route as many people over here where they don't come up with anything new.
Happy Friday. Loved the dead pool and Wolverine movie, especially Mary puppins. Saw it on my birthday. Joey you are bringing back the plaid. Looks great.
Joey you are the best! Hand over heart you are the same as always but really better because we all that we know, you as the heartthrob but now on the podcast we get to see you behind your good looks… your charm, heart and intelligence with great bantering between you and your awesome brothers! Win win 🙌 and thanks for sharing ❤ love you guys!
Joe you are rge bomb digity! And awesome big bro! And Andy I am an old lady of 60, and avid Spierman fan and I squealed with joy when Andrew Grafield/Toby McGuire/Tom Hollinger came all together in theSPM movie. You're never to old! And Matt what a wonder of knowledge your brain holds. Joe your beautiful! As a mom like person I appreciate all you brothers, and you guys make me smile in this crazy world.
Joey you are GORGEOUS I have had a crush on you since I was like 9! Lol honestly tho you shine from the INSIDE OUT! It's your happy, outgoing, FUNNY AF energy, but it's so wholesome & pure it makes you a TRULY BEAUTIFUL person!🤩😍🥰
10:26 Personal opinion: I think the reason why there haven't been a Blade movie was because of Wesley Snipes IRS troubles back then. Didn't he serve time for that?
I’ve enjoyed Ryan Reynolds and everything I’ve seen him in. As a fan of Ryan Reynolds and also a diehard comic book fan since the mid 70s, I actually enjoyed Green Lantern very much. I think the critics were overly harsh. But these are the same critics that are constantly shitting on Nicolas Cage, who is a very talented actor.
There is a Iron Man Dr. Doom comic run where VVD and Tony were in college together. VVD tricks Tony and uses a machine to change consciousness. VVD then has access to Stark money, tech, etc. Tony (trapped in VVD's body) loses all memory and goes on to build himself up over the years. That is the comic book run that will be used. Makes the most sense.
My Dad was from South Jersey and our whole family was brought up on RAPA scrapple. Now that I live in Florida we can only get frozen bargain brand scrapple. Also WAWA is the bomb!!
It will be awesome if when you all speak of events like movies, and things you can do it like a clip of what you're talking about. For instance, when you talked about Andy being dressed up like Wolverine on Brotherly Love, it would've been nice to see a picture of that...like a screenshot. I know all the episodes are available online, but it's still would have been cool when you mentioned it, you showed us a quick pic. Again doing this when you're talking about other topics would be awesome too.
this movie was so amazing, this conversation was amazing, comedy should never be censored, they are such amazing actors!!!💚💚💚💚💚💚 you guys are so fuckin funnyy!!!!
This was fun! My husband saw the movie with our teens and they enjoyed it. Hugh Jackman is a fantastic Wolverine but I would actually LOVE to see Mel Gibson play an older Wolverine. He would nail that character! Our family are big Tron franchise fans so I have been nervous about Jared Leto being attached to the newest (long overdue) installment. Fingers crossed it's his best performance ...sigh...
Need more movie reviews from the Lawrence brothers. This could be a whole channel on its own, separated from the pod da pod
I second this recommendation
I third it!
Greetings & Big Hugs from Rockland County, New York. I 4th it, on the Wonderful Lawerence Brothers doing More Movie Reviews. 🎬🎥💕🤗💕
Gambits accent was actually spot on for how gambit really talks. It's called Cajun French and that's how they talk
Exactly! it's just unfortunate a lot of people are unaware that Gambit is Cajun or unfamiliar with Cajun culture.
It's accurate but very exaggerated. The Gambit voice from the animated series and 97' is perfect
@thorkagemob1297 point is these dudes don't know jack shit and joey is unbearable to watch. Also madame web was sony not marvel, idk why kept saying that shit lol dumbass I swear
I love you guys! Thanks for showing up week after week! I appreciate all of you! Sending you lots of positive vibes, Joe! ❤❤❤
The Jared Leto rant was completely on point guys! 🤣💯👍🏻
Omg yes...I don't like Jared Leto I think he's overrated lol
More movie breakdowns. This was great, yall didn't hold back which was super refreshing
Another home run for the Lawrence brothers! Glad to see Andy got to talk more this episode! Sending positive vibes to Joe!❤
First off, Joey you always look beautiful but I'm glad filming this pod seemed to put you in better spirits. I love you all so much and thanks for being a light in this world. I look forward to watching your pod every Friday ❤
Joe actually sounds a little like Ryan Reynolds when he dies his Deadpool impression
@@valerieralph8976 I thought the same thing!
Lets petition the “WhoaPool” variant deadpool!!!
my favorite was "Cavilline", where they showed deadpool enter a timeline and you see Henry Cavill as wolverine, hahaha!
My favorite part of that scene was he did the Mission Impossible arm reload bringing the claws out.
Gambit isn't French. He's Louisiana cajun French. His accent was spot on.
It was still campy and schtick
Exactly! 🤌🏼 Thank you for saying something. I didn’t think their review on Tatum was very fair 🙏🏼😌
100% agree. Channing nailed the Cajun accent
The accent was good, but the whole thing didn't work. Its a good call that the Gambit movie didn't get made. No one would've taken him seriously.
The movie was amazing. Can't believe Hugh Jackman has played Wolverine for a quarter of a century.
I always remember Family Channel here in Canada showing Andy in his wolverine costume as a commercial bumper for the show and acting like Jim Carrey. Andy is the best. Keep that awesome childhood part of yourself alive forever Andy!
The prettiest brothers!😂
I'm devastated that I'll miss you guys at 90sCon in FL because of knee surgery! I want to thank you for your authenticity and light. Your pod da pod is truly "hygge" for me! ❤🙏
My favorite scene was when Wolverine finds out Deadpool mislead him and snaps at him. Then Deadpool just says “I’m gonna fight you now” with so much vulnerability and emotion. Even in a mask you can feel the pain in his face.
Logan turned every word of that rant into a murder weapon, good LORD.
I named my son Logan as well and this movie hit 🎯
I first seen Ryan Reynolds in “Two guys a girl and a pizza place” loved that show
I remember that show also.
The one thing I appreciate about the Deadpool movies and this movie now is that no jokes are off the table. It really felt like old comedy when everything wasn’t deemed so controversial. Sometimes I just need a good raunchy badass comedy! I loved it.
I just saw it and I agree wholeheartedly

Love seeing yall geek out together over movies that you love.
Awww JOEY!! I said a prayer for you as soon as I saw your face. Whatever is weighing on you right now will be lifted! ❤❤❤ We love you extra today Joey!!! And Andy and Matt you’re the best too as always!! ❤

Love your guys’ enthusiasm for the movie. It was so good. Welcome back from vacay, hope you guys had a wonderful time! Love the sun tan Andy ❤
Twisters was an amazing movie as well! Plus family friendly without all the language and inappropriateness of Deadpool
You guys are such a fun way to start my Friday. Thanks for doing what you do!
Every week you guys are the only ones that make me laugh my heart out! Every week!!!!!!
I always love the way the Lawrence Bros make me feel so happy and actually enjoy life
Excuse me...Madame Web is not part of the MCU...its part of Sony
More movie reviews from you guys! 🎉❤
52:30 I‘m dying 😂😂😂😂
I had to laugh so hard my asthma kicked in
Channing Tatum's character is not french! He's Cajun and that's what Cajun people sound like.
Channing Tatum had a perfect Cajun accent and Channing is from there so he's ok literally doing what he grew up hearing
After watching your guys review I now want to pay to see this movie. I didnt want to see it before hearing this. I know you guys are true movie buffs so I trust your testimony.Joey your gorgeous!
Had to come back to this today after seeing it in the cinema! Everyone was in stitches 😂
My first thought when I got to the theatre was, “This is what the Lawrence brothers were talking about recently (how movies used to be)….I hope they go see this movie asap!”
I saw Deadpool & Wolverine on my 53yrd birthday. It was awesome.
You guys should do the Bye Bye Bye dance from Deadpool. Watch when Ryan and Hugh do the hit wing spice challenge. So funny!
Haven't seen Deadpool & Wolverine (yet) but have been loving watching all the promo they've done for it. Loved hearing your review of it, deffo going to watch it ☺

Joey you're a great role model!
I grew up watching Joe grow up on the TV shows he starred in. Great to see him today. Much bro love to this man.
I love how passionate you guys are about this movie! ❤

Sending Love To All Of You Especially Joey Loved The Show Guys❤
Great episodes guys
Hell yea as a fellow nerd im glad to hear yall talk bout it
I’ve not watched any of these types of movies, but am enjoying their enthusiasm over this movie.
Wolverine was in Secret Wars, so if Marvel wanted to they could put him in that upcoming movie.
This is cool have a blessed weekend guys.

Fall Guy was really good! Really funny and great action scenes and stunts. I'm sure you'll enjoy it 😊
The yellow suit moment on the set story was just epic. Dope story Matt
Now I have to see this movie 😊
Happy Friday. Loved the dead pool and Wolverine movie, especially Mary puppins. Saw it on my birthday. Joey you are bringing back the plaid. Looks great.
Loved the movie review episode!
speaking of the sitcom, Brotherly Love, I wish Disney Plus, would add it to their app, I would love to watch it again.
Joey you are the best! the Frankenstein movie was Teen Monster! (2000)! def checking that out now!! Great review guys!!
I listen to this on my way to work but haven't seen this yet. Will have to miss this ep.

My Dad was from South Jersey and our whole family was brought up on RAPA scrapple. Now that I live in Florida we can only get frozen bargain brand scrapple. Also WAWA is the bomb!!
The Jared Leto discussion was hilarious 😂😂 especially about the 30 seconds to turn off and the thought of Matt yelling boo in the theater 😂too funny
It will be awesome if when you all speak of events like movies, and things you can do it like a clip of what you're talking about. you guys are an America treasure
The Lawrence brothers are still great.
