    Dynamic end of Tchaikovsky 6th symphony 3rd movement always makes applause..beautiful..one conductor did 1,2,4,3 movement.. smart idea too.

    Excellently played & performed by these youngsters. David Loebel conducting the New England Conservatory Youth Philharmonic Orchestra on one of my favorite symphonic pieces. Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6 "Pathetique"- 3rd Movement is truly outstanding. Marvelously unique & very enjoyable! These youngsters have a bright future for sure!

    3rd movement is rendered with bravado and perfection! I found it thoroughly enjoyable and a joy tomy ears and my soul!

    watched this whole thing through while following along with the score. towards the end, i looked up and realized these were a bunch of kids...insane! they played incredibly expressively and i am completely blown away.

    This fabulous symphony should have been written to use this third movement as the last movement because it would be a great way to end this exciting work !!!!!

      Yeah it would be but there's a story behind it. Some historians say the 4th movement is a suicide note, if you want to know more about that story you should watch some videos about it.

    Proper tempo... so you can HEAR all of the instrumental articulation.

    Is not slow. Listen Bernstein's record. 9:58min

    Concertmaster's hot....and good for that matter.
    Definitely on the slow side, but a pretty tight performance nonetheless
