Wow, this is definitely an extreme test scenario that most people may never experience. I appreciate your efforts in testing all of these cases. Because your testing involves such inconsistent impacts for each case, however, you cannot necessarily draw any reasonable conclusions beyond each specific case failure. All you can really state is which cases fail in certain circumstances. The cases that survived their specific type of impact does not necessarily mean that they will not fail with other types of impacts. The type of impacts are so varied: corner, side, top, bottom, face, back, and a variety of combinations in between. To have more conclusive results, you either need to drop each phone multiple times to get each desired type of impact, or you need to find a way to impose the same impact on each phone. You might even start with the most subtle impacts and work up to the worst, and then build a table of results for each type of impact. A tall PVC chute might work (maybe with a silicone spray coating inside to prevent friction against the chute walls) for end impacts, but that's just one type of impact. This would probably require a good deal of experimentation and more than one of each phone, but I'm certain it can be done and would definitely provide more consistent test scenarios. At a minimum, the surviving phones should be dropped again to impose a different type of impact. It's definitely time consuming and expensive to perform proper tests. Good luck!
@@DicedTea they don’t belong to anyone else, those are all of his phones he bought for the video lol, so he won’t have to say that to anyone fortunately lol
I always enjoy these tower drop test videos, but we have to realize that this can't be an accurate way to decide which phone cases are protective and which ones aren't (although the Rebel ones look quite nice). The fact that the phone survived with the Apple cases, including the clear plastic one, suggests it has more to do with 1) how it fell during that particular drop and 2) the construction of the phone itself than the construction of the cases.
It is probally also the cases, I don't doubt that apple does skimp on quality for some accessories, it seems that they didn't skimp on R&D on those ones. The reason is probally that the silicone morphs and distorts when impacted, like dropping it in jello. With that said, they should offer a lifetime warranty replacement if it starts to fail. Watching this it makes me want to purchase his Rebel cases, those look legit.
Perhaps it would be better if there was a rail and sled system where the phone is launched very fast horizontally on a sled on a rail toward a stationary wall would be better and more consistent.
i agree. it seems when the phone fell directly with a lot of force on the sides and didn’t land dropping face down it had more of a likelihood of breaking.

It’s funny how u just destroy an iPhone and then be like op let’s get the next one😂
This video deserves more views! I bought the UAG watching ur video. I live in India. Thankyou 🙏
6:43 "I think this is the first time we've had an official Apple case survive"
You've had many Apple leather cases survive the 50ft drop test.
Fresh haircut! Looking cuter than ever!! I have bought 3 of your cases. They are excellent!
Why did you get 3?
This guy: throws 12 iphones from 50FT and doesnt care
Me: starts worrying when my iphone 6 with a only metal case falls.
When will restores the stock for rebel gen 2 series cases for iPhone 12 pro max ?
The cases in carbon fiber
That's why I use uag case for a couple of years now... Military test ❤️
I had a feeling this video would be a over longed advertisement for his case
he only uses the 12 pros in those cases lol
I agree. Very misleading
Nice cases and your company needs to start making Sapphire tempered glass screen protector to complete the protection for the iPhone
I agree! And for a good price too. $80 for a sapphire screen protector is tough to swallow. Maybe if Filip makes it a hybrid sapphire to keep the costs down
''Gotta appreciate this man keeping up the hard work for 8 years for our entertainment gotta love this mand keep it up you deserve 20million ❤️❤️ 💕😘''
The phone case is very practical, super fall-proof, and very cool. We are also a phone case manufacturer in China, working with Walmart.
Could you add the Nillkin cam shield pro in the iPhone 13 video ?
I'm a huge fan of your drop test ... But why you are not taking raptic shield cases ... You should definitely consider it.. ❤️❤️❤️
Once the apple transparent case survived, I realized how far this test was from reality.
I’m surprised the mous case did so poorly since they’re advertised as being so durable
I’m also surprised. As someone who owns the Limitless 3.0, I thought Mous was the shit when it came to durability.
I absolutely love my crystal series gen 2 case, it actually makes me want to consider keeping my 12 pro until I pay it completely off. My last case was the tech 21 clear case and I dropped it from maybe two feet on the back and it completely shattered the back, so I had to get a replacement and since this is a brand new phone and I know it’s never going to break in this case it seems like it would be a good idea just to keep the thing. Thank you
I’ve never seen someone with more faith and dedication in their products as this guy has in his phone cases.
He ran up and down the stairs like 10 times and if thats not 10/10 marketing idk what is.
Good job, bro I’ll go and buy a case for myself 😎👍🏻
UAG Monarch..Super sturdy and solid.Yeahh i made a right choice
