I love your videos on plumerias...Especially the fact that you show us many varieties, we can see the flowers and you comment on their growth habit, how well they flower etc...

Hope "Jungle Jacks" is giving you a spiff for promoting his plumerias :)

:) I don't think they know about my channel. I actually have had really good experiences with other nurseries in Florida (Florida Colors and Brad's Buds & Blooms) but JJ varieties are at Lowes occasionally and their California nursery is close by, making shipping cheap and fast in comparison so they have gotten a lot of my business.

Beautiful Plumeria Garden Tour! Where did you buy your Plumerias? I want to add Plumerias in my garden.

Thanks! Most were ordered from Jungle Jacks (JJ - www.junglejacksplumeria.com/) as rooted plants but I did get a few from Brad's Buds & Blooms and one from Tropical Colors. On occasion you can find JJ plumeria at Lowes. It's a lot cheaper that way as you avoid shipping but the varieties are limited. Happy gardening!

Great videos on the plumeria. I’m trying to learn how to grow them better and attempt to put in the ground here in 9a San Antonio TX. How does watering look like for these?
    Thanks

Thanks! I water daily in the summer by hand early morning with usually a few minutes on the shower hose setting spraying the leaves and hitting the wells. It's very hot where I have them and they get sun all day even with 40% shade cloth up. In cooler micro-climates and afternoon shade, you can get away with less frequency. Spring/Fall every 3-4 days and when dormant not at all.

What fertilizer do you use? Mine are almost a year old in 2 gallon pots but are just coming out of dormancy in zone 10, SoCal. We are barely hitting highs in mid 80s and lows in mid 50s.

BR61--I feed every couple of weeks right now. We are in the low 100s this week so the hot weather plus the food has them in a growth spurt.

Looks like you have some “sunburn protection” on your plumerias. Is it paint as per avocados or a “wrap”? Did you try any grafting of your plumerias?
    Looking gr8, as always!
    Ciao, Johno

Thanks! Some of the plumeria got burnt this Winter from cold winds so I used Jobe's tree wrap (cloth) to wrap those areas so they don't get further damaged from the sun this year. Lots of grafting this year--but not plumeria.
