If Jackie Chan is in a movie you can bet some undercranking or frame deletion was used. Most Hong Kong movies employ at least a bit of undercranking to speed up the action.
A notable exception was Bruce Lee, who was so fast some of his scenes had to be overcranked so you could even see his moves clearly.

Hitomi Akane As far as I know, he had an issue with Bruce one, over the fact Bruce Lee asked him to be in a movie, which Sammo agreed, but then Bruce vanished, and he didn't hear about the movie or from Bruce for months and months, so he agreed to another project.
Bruce then suddenly called him 8 or 9 months later and asked him to come for the movie, but he couldn't due to his new project and he was out of the country. Bruce got mad and called him a liar, which upset him.
He ended up going to film with Bruce and they talked about it and it was fixed.

I love how the Japanese gang is comprised of non-Japanese Asians (with the exception of the muscular geisha called Nishiwaki Michiko). Michiko is infact a Japanese actress and stunt woman, martial artist, fight choreographer, and former female bodybuilder and powerlifter (that's why she has such a beefy/muscular body). She performed the high-risk stunts as a double for Lucy Liu in the film Charlie's Angels. On the other hand, Jackie Chan faces once again Dick Wei, another non-Japanese Asian. But you know, the hell with it, this is just classic '80s HK action cinema.

Michiko Nishiwaki was quite a destructive force even against men in HK films. Heard she moved to the US and basically did stunt work for actresses like Lucy Liu, a shame and a waste, but work is work.

She lives in California with her husband now, close to where I live. At the age of 63 she’s still muscular and really athletic, co-owns some gyms, and still lifts heavy! Her body doesn’t look a day over 30.

The creator of parkour was inspired by martial arts, especially Jackie Chan since he did it in his movies.

He uses a very theatrical form of WuShu, it’s very flashy with flips and exaggerated movements. That’s what he studied under for the most part and made famous for.
