No, I don't believe either are ss. Easy to just keep them clean though.

I ride the Kawasaki KLX 300 because it has a much better suspension than the Honda and I'm a heavier rider. My wife is only around 135 lbs. So the Honda is great for her. If the Honda had a better suspension, I would probably say it's just a smidge better value.

I've had the 250rally (tons of fun) and now the 300rally (200lbs 5'9")...
The rally is the gift that keeps on giving. 86 mpg/75mph on the 250, 70mpg/85mph on the 300 comfortably.
Yeah the suspension could use some love but you won't find a more reliable bike that only needs oil, chain, and tires. Up to 35k miles
