  • Good morning everyone so today we had a another delivery where we saved the day for this contractor for the old mill That's been turned into luxury loft apartments. The other driver refused to drive down to the job site that we literally delivered a way bigger truckload of lumber earlier in the week. Due to miscommunication We were under the impression that we were picking up a bunk of 2x10s And plywood But not really sure how much. So we meet up with the foreman and he explains to us when the camera is cut off what exactly happened and what exactly he needed which was the material to be moved to the job site rather than where the other driver left it. In the midst of all the confusion we also find out that it wasn't just 2x10s it was all the material. had the foreman not have been on site to explain that to us some if not all of their material would have been returned to the shipping location and which would have made for a very unhappy client. We are glad that we were able to accommodate because this guy is really cool and there's some beautiful scenery there and it's challenging but it's a fun challenge to do deliveries there.
Anyway we hope you all enjoy the content Please make sure you smash that like button leave a comment down below subscribe hit the notification bell and we will see you on the next one!

As a former truck driver living in Connecticut and drove pretty much all over this state the old textile mills in the eastern part of Connecticut are priceless and glad they are restoring some of them instead of tearing them down. Great job in your driving abilities and dealing with them ina professional way.

Oh, I have had days like this. I was in canton Ohio. Drove down a nice country road. Then turn onto a small dirt road, that turned into grass. This is where I started to freak out. Mind you 53’ trailer and 45’ truck. Then some guy drives up in a tractor and tells me “ about 1 mile ahead you see a building on the left side deliver there.”

In my basement using them at wall brackets and buying 70% off dammaged studs some as long as 20' what do they care saves room in the dumpster it cost money to have it hauled away, i did it for free.

I am not a truck driver, your driving was impressive. Firm believer in communication. In todays electronic communication, you should have received an electronic map showing where material is, and where the material was going. The office pukes at your company were too lazy to provide you with the information. Like you said if you hadn't ran into the correct customers, that provided you with the correct information, a cluster would have ensued.

I'm not surprised AT ALL. Home Depot doesn't hire people for qualifications, the hire to fill a spot. They don't train people, they don't do anything that improves operations. They live on the easy profits and too lazy to go after better service. This is what keeps the smaller local building supply business making all the money with contractors, and Home Depot spending millions on the staff dedicated to processing returns.
