That race was so competitive you finished 85th overall with a 3:17min/km pace...unreal level! You rock Ben, amazing performance especially considering you were chatting and filming. Keep up the good work mate!

If you want to do a real 7 hills come up to Edinburgh next June for the 7 hills race. About 25km and 700m Elevation. No route just seven points at the top of hills you need to reach. But 90% of people go the same way

My time of 62 mins would be average for my age group, not good or incredible but also not poor. Now back to a senior lady athlete running a15k race. 4:30/km is rank average, an average speed of 4:00/km would be good but certainly NOT incredible.
I only started running last year at the age of 68, I have done 30 park runs, best PB 21.40. With the help of Watching your videos and all the training tips,hopefully will improve on that. Thanks again.

From Nijmegen here, they also have a 7km run the night before. I have ran this event 4 times and volunteered once. It's amazing, fantastic crowd, fantastic route, fantasic scenery.
I think that it's amazing and encouraging to see you smiling all the way through the race - my friends and I always encourage others to wear a smile because of both the psychological and physiological benefits while running hard! Good on you sir!

There will always be slight set backs in life but it's always about how you respond to it! On race day sometimes it just doesn't happen, shame when that day is a marathon day but don't let it get you down too much. Keep that confidence, you're an amazing runner running crazy times still.
Great video of the NN 7heuvelenloop. I missed it because injury. Other (in my opinion) great Dutch runs are, Egmond 1/2 marathon, CPC Den-Haag, Rotterdam marathon, Amsterdam marathon and Groet uit Schoorl run.
You inspire me and my partner so much and we absolutely LOVE these videos!! 😃🙌 We just watched it whilst we are holidaying in the Seychelles 🇸🇨😜 I ran 5 miles this morning in the heat and I’m left in absolute awe at those who can run in this on a daily basis 😱👏👏. I still havent found "THE shoe !". Do long runs (50+ km, do marathons for bi-weekly training). Have a high arch, have weak achilles, need cushion, need low stack, need wide forefoot. Think I'll go for the Asics Glideride, but they are HEAVY !!!

Amazing pace Ben and to talk and hold a camera! Nuts! ....I’m still waiting for bone stress injury to heal, doing some strength work and failing to keep the cardio up before getting back on it, thinking a fast half in april somewhere..
Don’t rush those.. take your time. Will be worth it in the long term! And don’t stress about the cardio.. it will be hard when you first start back, but will return quicker than you might expect. All the best!

NB 1500 is nice, feels fast and snappy. For longer distances the Nike zoom fly but I find it a little unstable. I ran marathon Kasterlee (Belgium) last weekend. It's also a very nice and spicy nature run (sand, little hills) Maybe something for next year.
I ran it too and was in the blue start section. I wish I would have seen you. maybe you can organize a group run like @seth james demoor. Achieved my goal with running within the hour but during the race did not thought I would. It was the last section which is the payoff for the investment by fighting the ascents of in the first 11km. it is off my bucket list now. Other vloggers like @setj james demoor and sage canaday are running the Houston marathon. It would be a perfect storm if you would team and pace up together. Ultimate vlog would that be. Go Ben go!

You were in Nijmegen. Noce, should have known. There is also an amazing trail there called the N70. Some nice climbs, and lots of history.

Asics Glideride is amazing. Second time I've ever used Asics. Last time was in 1989.
I did the Amsterdam marathon last month. What a great event whether you do the full or half marathon. The finish in Olympic stadium is great too.
