- This was one of the most unique waterfalls I ever built, the rock we had to work with allowed us to achieve something really special.
This is the best medium sized koi pond we can build in your backyard. It comes with all the bells and whistles, water quality control system, algae eliminating system, underwater LED lighting, professional grade Aquascape components, remote controlled pump, etc.
This water feature costs 24k installed and leaving you with nothing to do but smile and enjoy (2020 pricing)

Looks great!!!!! Could you guys do a video where you go more in depth on using the the laser level setting your water level, benchmark etc?
Sure! I'll try to talk about that on our next one
This is my favorite waterfall of all of your waterfalls that I’ve seen so far, and I think I’ve seen just about every one of them!
I know this one was a one of a kind!
Any size feature is worth it!!
For sure!
Really appreciate the end of project tour with your pros and cons of the build. Very helpful info regarding the waterfall build theory !
Clints (sometimes called by their German name, flachkarren) are the blocks of limestone that form the pavement. ... Grykes are fissures separating the clints in a limestone pavement. They may be well over a metre in depth, and formed when the joints in the limestone were widened by chemical weathering. Reminds me of my home county of Yorkshire.
Thanks for watching!
love love love it 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Thanks guys! 👍
Wow! Just awesome rock placement.
Thank you 😁
I love hearing all the details in your describing of your thought process and vision when designing the waterfalls. I'd love to see more video footage of when and how you place the boulders. Things like materials underneath the boulders to steady them and keep them in place for the long term and also the underlayment and lining like is there fear of the earth settling underneath a big boulder and if that ever pulls the lining causing tears. But this waterfall and pond is amazing, I love the character of the rocks and how you oriented them creating those caverns and crevices. Looks so natural!! You guys might be the best out there
Thanks for the compliment Brad 😁 yeah i could get in to that more the next time I have a chance. But no, a properly built pond will not be settling, or pulling/tearing liner. We use a product we call rock pad, which is a 1/4" think geo textile membrane to protect the liner
Beautiful Rock work on this one
Thank you! 😁
I think this is my favorite waterfall, that you’ve built, and Patsys waterfall!
Thanks! Have a great day!
The middle falls certainly makes that project, thinking way outside the box with the deep cavern effect and the water pouring through those holes, awesome, I'm guessing it's lit up at night, would like to see that. Fantastic water feature, well done guys.
Thanks Richard! Yeah I loved how it turned out
Cool Rock makes Cool Falls, nice job!
Thanks Trey!
Nice work, and I appreciate your ability to publicly critique your own work. Each water feature is different, and if you aren't trying new things creatively, well, that would just be boring!
You are so right! Thanks for watching 😁
You guys are the best in the buisiness. Love your work Weston.
Thanks Byron, means a lot coming from you. Cheers brother 🙌
Great loking boulders & very beutyful water feature ,,,good job weston,,,,
It's nice to be able to see a project a year after build, the site is clean the landscape has time to fill in etc. it goes hand in hand with the tech part of the build.
That's right! 🙌
This is my favorite of all of you water features!
Love your work. If I lived in the US there is no doubt, I would have your team building me a water feature - an extremely tallented crew. Keep up the good work and great content; well done!
Thanks Neil! Where you from?
Great job guys... excellent work.
Thank you!
Super cool build. I always look forward to your videos 👍
Thanks Rich! Glad you enjoy it :)
Very unique waterfalls on this one! It turned out fantastic.
Thanks 👍
Never seen that type of rock used before. Quite unique. Well done guys.
Thanks John!
I love your Subtle back stroke 🏊♂️
?
@@Tusseylandscaping 1:50 That don't happen every day not all in a days work you're just doing a back stroke
Oh that ha ha ha yeah 😂
You guys killed it, only thing it needs is more flow or volume
very beautiful...
Thank you!
Great job like always guys.
Thanks so much!
Awesome job guys!!!!!
Thanks!
Really clever use of the rocks
I also designed my pond, lights and rocks. Its nice, but not as big as your design. That's cute. Thanks.
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice I love it
Thank you so much Cherry!
That looks amazing!!
Thanks David! 🙌
Looks natural.
Wonderfull job
Thanks! That's what we strive for!
Love that waterfall. Amazing how it looks flowing through those two holes in the rocks. Amazing work!!
Thanks Ryan!!
Unique build. Love the shape of those rocks!
Thanks David! Appreciate the comment! 💪
Excellent work thumbs up 👍
Absolutely beautiful! Can clients request you (Weston) and your team to build their ponds? How many teams build ponds at TL? Also, I love that the homeowner sat on his lawn chair to watch the artists at work.
They can sure! We got some more talented builders, Ben, Reynold, Matt are all good builders. Got some up and comers too, with DJ.
Can one guy come to Houston
...cool video keep up the great content...
Thank so much!
Absolutely stunning water feature!
Thank you Linda!
Nice work guys 👍
Thanks!
Great job. Love the rocks, very similar to Weather Worn rock found in Ontario. Never seen any other person on you tube use it.
Looks very natural.
Thanks Bill! There's a few builders out there that use it. It can be a little tricky to use, as it has "seams" running through it. Bothers the tar out of me when those seams aren't level. But it's really fun to use that rock
I love that rock. It has so many warts and crevasses, it makes it appear thousands of years old.
One question I'd ask, and please don't take this negatively. I think I've commented enough over the last year or two that you know I respect the hell out of your vision and ability to make that vision a reality. What happened to that biofalls? Everything looks so realistic with the exception of the biofalls itself. There looked to be a LOT of plastic showing. I know here in The 'Nois we went months without rain. Was there some die-off that exposed it? Just curious.
Not sure honestly. I never noticed it until after I was back home looking through the footage 😂 Or I would have dressed it up. My guess is someone cleaned out the biofalls and never bothered to put the rock and gravel back in its place. But yeah, I'm with you, exposed plastic drives me bonkers
I think you should include a "flusher" upgrade item on your future water features.
Ha ha yeah Ben called it the Toilet Bowl falls
Tussey fam bam ❤️
You know it!
This is one of my absolute favorites of the ones you have done. Love that waterfall!
I have to get you to come to Florida to do a pond for me one of these days.
Thanks so much 😁 I love the sound of that, winter project in Florida? 😁
Awesome job
Was in your neck of the woods this week had lunch at traditions and an opportunity to check out your water Feature out front Beautiful work keep up the videos
No kidding! That's awesome. Yeah we built those features a long time ago. When I go out there now I cringe a little bit ha ha. Funny, always getting better, when your see work you did a while back it seems like your always would do some things different ha ha.
The fountain features out from by the sign are more recent. I thought those turned out cool
Nice work that’s a super cool waterfalls with that rock I’ve never seen one done like that before even on Greg winstock or jaaks ponds very creative keep up the great work 👍
Thanks George! I love how it turned out. Felt risky building it, thought it might not look good, but, it paid off
So amazing! I’d love something like that!❤️
Call me maybe! 😂
Tussey Landscaping you are awesome. I have finally finished my pond but would love a water feature!
Fanastic!
Thanks!
I watch all of the pond stars blogs, but I think Wilson rock work is the best of them all! I voted for him in the sandbox, but I still haven’t heard who won?
Weston’s Rock work, is the best!
Great Project! Greetings from the Netherlands.
Thanks for watching Joey! Hope to build a feature in Europe some day!
good day
excellent stuff as always
I have just on question, how do you guys prep your liner so that you guys unfold it so easily across the pond
Thanks!
We roll the liner out until it is at full length before trying to unfold it.
Great looking boulders and interesting layout. What is the place you get the limestone boulders in MO?
Dan
Thanks Dan! We get them from Semco
That thumbnail my friend!
Ha ha thanks Nick!
Something Think different but pond looking very good
Thanks allot!
@@Tusseylandscaping thanks for reading commits
Always 😊
Very beautiful water feature. Two questions, 1) curious why the feature was so far from the house? 2) I could still see the bio falls at the top. Why was it still visible? Please don't take those as criticisms, I was just curious.
Hey Susan, yeah, I actually didn't notice the biofalls was exposed until after I was watching the video back 🤦♂️ normally we hide that with rock, moss and gravel. And it was hidden, my guess is when accessing the filtration media, whoever did it didn't replace the rockwork and gravel.
About it being so far from the house, personally, I was always like the water feature as close to the house as possible, and we always talk through that with the homeowners. But in some cases, they use their property differently and want it in a specific location. So we do 😁
Beautiful! ❤️ Did you guys use any waterfall foam in this build?
Yes! We always do!
whats up wess what rock is this I like it we don't have rock like this i don't think around here by me in newburgh ny
It's from the Ozarks of Missouri. We buy it and truck it to pa
Hey man what kind of software do you use to show projected end result?
Thank you
We use Sketchup for 3D design, and SynkedUP.com for estimating and time and material tracking
@@Tusseylandscaping Got it, thank you!
I find myself planning out the enlargement of my pond going to add a new 20x20 liner that will let me re scape the plant shelves and make the bottom 3 foot over the total pond. I have a large waterfall in place now that I want to keep. Can you explain how you add the second liner?? like in this video the waterfall liner comes down and overlaps the one that is inplace for the pond and it does not look like it is glued together. So are the 2 liners just over lapped and then using rocks to hold it down????
Yeah, it's all about the levels and water height. You can only do an overlap like that where the water falls down vertically from one level, down into the water level below. The liner holding in the bottom water level simply needs to be higher than water level, and the top liner coming down in to the bottom needs to keep and direct all the water falling down into the lower area without allowing any leaks.
What size liner did you use for the waterfall?
Believe it was a 15x20
@@Tusseylandscaping you mean the waterfall itself is 15x20..what size was the pond??
Looks Great! Gotta love the Trump hat! lol
Ha ha 😂
💙🔥👍
🙌
Where do you buy the Moss rocks? Can't find any near me.
From Semco in Missouri
I can send you pictures and tell you how I made mine, if you want
What type of rock is this and is it hard to get?
It's Semco rock from the Ozarks in Missouri. The hardest part about getting it is the trucking
Great job!
You need a camera man
Agreed 🤣
So with water level...
If I have a low side and a higher side... The higher side is closer to the house because of drainage...
To make it level... Do I build up the low side with dirt and then back fill &pull the liner till it's high enough...
Can I use anything other than dirt to even out the low side like blocks to give it height
Yes on your low side you can build any type of wall. Boulders, dirt, retaining wall anything to bring your soil level up.
@@Tusseylandscaping ok awesome thanks for the reply
What’s the actual dimensions of this pond?
How many gallons is this?
It's about 1,200
Are the home owners brothers
Didn't ask
