Heh guys just a comment from the UK.
I have been watching your videos for years and they inspired me to build my own eco pond. It has brought me and my family such joy over the years I can’t thank you enough for that. As I watch neighbours grass gardens which are essentially a desert to nature I sit enjoying frogs croaking, rare newts, birds bathing in my very small stream and pond.
Hopefully more people will see your videos and realise that a grass lawn brings hard work and little if any joy, my pond needs no more work than mowing the grass and were it not there I wouldn’t have the joy / battle of watching a young heron mature into the magnificent creature she has become over the years. Ok once or twice she won the battle and picked up a few fish, but the pond was over stocked anyway, nature has a way of sharing the wins and losses and maybe through the hard winter it made a difference to her survival.
Anyway, thanks for the inspiration, I know you didn’t profit, me being from the UK, but you are making the difference in a wider context which does matter.

I'mstarting a list of plants for my pond, particularly ones that do not rely on soil. Thanks Brian.

If I had the land ( and money lol) I would 100% have you build my dream pond. Although every video I watch I see more and more things I like. So my dream would be hard to pick. I’ve learned so much from your videos. I’m building my own due to my restrictions. I’m loving it. Moving rocks around to change water patterns brings me back to when I was a kid playing in our creek. I’d spend hours rearranging rocks. Currently I’m adding an addition to my pond. I’m using your bio falls on each and I have to say it’s the best product out there. If I could make one suggestion to ppl wanting to DYI a pond. First watch YOUR videos and LEARN. Thanx for all you do. I love your job too! Lol

I built my own 116 ft. stream to my natural pond. I recently put a check valve on the water line because I lost water and fish while the pump was off. Now my water flow is half what it use to be, but I do have clear water with my upflow filter system. You can see it on RUclips. After 6 months the plants are grown in and my cousin said it looks natural! Best compliment ever!

I love the plants that are naturalizing in these water features. My rescued hostas, spiderworts, horsetail reeds & irises are going into the pond. Thank you so much for showcasing the plants.

Do you consider stone a sustainable material for the future of pond building? do you think there is enough stone being mined to be sustainable for the future of pond building, how does this negatively impact the environment compared to how it benefits the environment. What is your thoughts

Rubber liner only lasts 20 years?? I would think, with it being protected from the sun and air, that it would last indefinitely.

does it ever make you boys wonder, when moving them "huge" 2.5 ton stones.
How the ancients moved 1000 ton ones without machines haha

I live in Hawaii. What contractor licenses would I need to be able to providen this? This seem an entry barrier as contractors here needs 4 yrs of experience. Is this considered Pool or Landscaping?
