Congratulations! You have an ADA compliant elevator with C.j. Anderson fixtures! I am *convinced* this is a RUclips first, as none of the ones I've seen chime in the way that ADA compliance demands, other than this. It put me off CJA for a long time as a result.
I hate to break it to you, but the buttons are not CJ Anderson, the COP is, but the individual buttons are GAL. Try this one: ruclips.net/video/LMFtPfkPERM/видео.html
one of the better modernisations. Looks rather nice. I like it much more that the elevators now have white buttons instead of so many locks in the cab buttonpanel. Looks much better than before modernisation. I just miss the classic acoustic bells and light bulbs (the LED doesnt really fit)
upanddownadventures There's an emergency stop button? Anyways, no. I meant the pressure sensor in the middle of the floor. Once, I went to the Capitol Building in elementary school. They told us about the elevators, and how stepping in the middle of the floor within the lift would set off a buzzer (possibly due to a pressure sensor in the floor that limits the occupancy).
Shelby Thibodeau I have heard of elevator overload sensors, but I have never heard of simply standing in the middle of the elevator setting off the overload sensors. I wonder if such a thing even happens anymore on these elevators. When were they installed? Also, were there lots of people in the elevator? If so, then the overload sensor might have been closer to setting off to begin with.
upanddownadventures Well, yes, that sensor would be an "overload sensor." If the elevator were crowded, and one were to step in the middle of the floor, then the elevator's buzzer would go off, meaning that it's too crowded for anybody to scoot over along the border of the floor.
holy smokes UP'S magnificent Bailey yard busy as always-beautiful lifts
This isn't Bailey Yard, this one's only about a quarter of the size. Bailey Yard is in North Platte.
@@StarCityElevators which is it
@@jacksonslaterelevatorraila6444 Hobson Yard, BNSF railroad. Look on Google maps, US 77 passes over it.

Most of the cooler LED's have been replaced with warm ones since, so it's better, but yeah. Still not the same.
Have you ever (accidentally) set off the buzzer that goes off when one steps in the middle of the floor?
Are you talking about the emergency stop button?

I think they told you that so you wouldn't overload the thing. It was probably nudge mode
So can you explain all 4 modernizations?
Elevating Oregon since 2015 It's all in the description. There was a display for these elevators, so I wrote what I could remember from it.
The elevator changed quite minimally
Doesn't take long for the southwest elevator to go into nudge mode.
Haughton
Nope. The 1980 fixtures were Payne, & the new 1s are CJA.
You're both wrong. The 1980 fixtures were Innovation and the new ones are GAL (although I think CJA had some say in this).
Star City Elevators
While the buttons may not be CJA, at least the fire key-switch looks exactly like CJA.
